Chapter 2 LINE ONE

Jim Becker is a very popular person.

At Kitchener Far Mountain High School, if you mention his name, no one will say he doesn't know him.

In his second year of high school this year, he is the number one star in the ice hockey team of Yuanshan High School. Not only is he handsome and tall in life, but his family is also very wealthy.

His father is the school director and his mother is the chairman of PTA (i.e. the Parent-Teacher Association). Although his family is not a super rich man, he undoubtedly belongs to a minority of the rich class.

On weekdays, Becker wears luxury goods, and the friends he makes are all "cool children"; his girlfriend is either a hot cheerleader or a perfect little princess; even if he doesn't study hard, the teacher dares not give him a failure; and he has to organize a party once a week...at least once.

It can be said that what Becker lived was a high school life that countless people believed to exist only in fantasy.

For ordinary students, they are happy as long as they can have one of the things they have.

However, Becker himself, who possessed all this, was not satisfied.

Because he had never experienced the feeling of nothing, he did not feel that the big deal about what he enjoyed; because he had long been used to having everything, so... as time went by, the satisfaction he could get from it would only decrease.

This is human nature and a characteristic that desire should have.

Sometimes, standing on a high place will not broaden your horizons.

Becker...is a good example; he was born to possess various resources that were better than ordinary people, but he obviously did not use them in the right place.

Unlike many people who have "hard" high school life, Becker quickly adapted to his relaxed, "perfect" high school life, so he spent all his excess energy and time chasing "new stimulation".

At first, he did some pranks and school bullying. If he did too much of this kind of thing, he would naturally "pass the boundaries". Fortunately, his father was a bit powerful locally, and he helped him settle most of the things he could use money to settle.

Although his parents would still blame him after the incident, it was obviously different from the punishment from the outside world... Because of this, Becker, who did not pay any price for his "cross-border" behavior, began to get worse.

He found a secret chat group on the dark web for the communication of second-generation ancestors like him. In that group, many individuals and groups would share their ways to find "stimulation" which banned drugs are high and not addictive, where are there underground nightclubs with no age limit, and how to cover up their criminal behavior... Similar information floods this group.

Although he paid a lot of "membership fees" when joining the group, Becker did not regret it at all, because the chat content inside really opened his eyes; when he listened to others discussing a luxurious gambling game that only "private princes and grandchildren" participated in, he realized that he was not an "elite class" at all; when he heard that a small group that was not short of money had earned hundreds of millions of gambling money by relying on a live-action live show, he realized that the things he played in the past could only be considered as playing house wine...

In this way, Becker, who "broadened his horizons" from another perspective, seemed to have "enlightenment" and never returned to the road of "learning bad things".

More than a month after joining the group, he brought his friends and some local "drug dealers" with him; they began to "add ingredients" to the party drinks, and then asked some "consumers" who were not students to bring the female students into the room and even take them home...

Most of the victims were forced by the forces of the Becker family, or the forces of "Daoer Shang", or because they were filmed with videos... and finally chose to remain silent.

So, Becker, who has succeeded repeatedly, has grown bigger and bigger this "business" and has gained a certain reputation in Dao'er. Of course, compared to money, he enjoys more the superiority of someone who immediately expresses his "knowing the person" after he reports his name in front of others, and the pride of showing off his "deeds" in that chat group.

Today is another weekend, and Friday night is a "party night".

Since there have been some rumors in his school and several nearby high schools, it is difficult for Becker to invite beautiful girls from nearby schools to his party, so he now has to do something every weekend to distribute flyers.

But some people will definitely question why people are still using such an original method of sending flyers to invite people these days? And even if they have to send flyers, there is no need for Becker to go there in person, right?

In fact, the reason is very simple... First of all, choosing the form of sending leaflets can limit the area where information is spread; Becker certainly knows that sending information online can make it visible to more people, but in this way he will face a problem. For example, there are five universities a, b, c, d, and e near the location of the party. If he publishes invitation announcements online, then there will be people from these five schools tonight, and the "victims" will be evenly distributed... Although these people will not report the case, they may warn or imply that girls from the same school have problems with the party... In this way, if they do not pass this weekend, the "sources" of these five schools will have to be cut off.

What if I send flyers? Becker can selectively invite only one or two schools at a time; today I have cheated A and B schools, and then go to C and D tomorrow. Even if some students will share party news through social media and attract some people from other schools, the publicity is very limited, which is far less effective than the organizer's direct release of messages... He can at least maintain a weekend with the same party venue in one area.

So, why did Becker take action on the issue of giving away leaflets?

First, others are still in school on Friday, and no one dares to care about him skipping classes; second, his student image can help him easily get into any high school or university; third, as mentioned in the previous article, he was born tall and handsome, and with his famous brand, it is naturally easier to invite people.

To sum up, Becker set out as planned early that morning.

He first parked his sports car in the school parking lot, then took a backpack, and trotted out of the school gate.

After crossing two blocks, he walked into the subway station.

Becker's destination today is two universities near the city center. He plans to go to one place in the morning and afternoon, and then return to his school to drive home before school.

What Becker didn't know was that he was actually being followed before leaving school.

The one who followed him was a boy named Adams, who was a classmate of his school.

Of course, Becker did not know Adams because Adams was just a small person. He was a very ordinary high school student and was confused about his future and was powerless to learn. He wanted to be cool but always backfired. He felt that he was rebellious but was also a mediocre person in essence.

If Adams cares about anything particularly, it should be his girlfriend; for people of his age, love may be greater than anything else... or when he recalls it many years later, he will find that he actually doesn't like the other person very much, but at the moment, this is the only thing in his eyes.

Hormones are like a pot of boiling water. When your reason is soaked in it and is so hot that it is hard for you to make the judgment you deserve.

This is the situation Adams faces now. Not long ago, his girlfriend became taciturn after going to Becker's party and gradually became alienated from him. His fierce questioning was just crying silently.

In this case, Adams had never thought of turning to adults at all, and he had not even tried to make any reliable speculation about this situation... although with his IQ, he might not be able to think about what happened.

Anyway, Adams decided that one thing his girlfriend's changes must be related to Becker. Therefore, from a few days ago, Adams began to secretly observe Becker's actions.

In the parking lot this morning, he found Becker sneaking away from school with a bag on his back and followed him out.

He followed Becker on the subway, took the bus to the city center, walked all the way to a high school, and scrambled into the other party.

He watched Becker post flyers on the locker in the corridor of other people's schools, and sent flyers to the students during breaks. Then, he followed Becker away from the school and went to the subway again.

After only two stops, they arrived at another university. It was lunch break, and Becker easily got in and did what he did in the next school again.

But this time, Becker attracted the attention of a academic staff member. The other party stepped forward and asked him a few words, and found that he was not a student of the school. Then he asked where he came from...

Becker didn't want to cause trouble here, so he quickly ran away before the situation became serious.

The main player of the high school ice hockey team was caught up by a middle-aged liberal arts teacher alone. Becker ran away smoothly and noticed Adams's existence during the escape.

Becker soon realized that this person was a classmate from the same school, and then speculated that the other party had been following him since the morning.

Becker, who has always been a campus bully, and now a criminal, will not be scared by a mere peer, let alone that person is a student in his "local snake" territory.

After running for a while, Becker deliberately turned into an alley. Adams was afraid of losing his companionship, so he quickly followed, but was blocked at the corner.

The stout Becker stepped forward and pressed his arm against Adams' throat, pushing him against the wall.

He asked Adams why he was following him, and Adams in turn asked him what he did to his girlfriend and threatened to report him; what the two said was basically not on the same channel, but that did not prevent them from having a dispute and quickly escalating into a fight.

They fought from the alley to the end of the alley, and in the end, Becker had the upper hand... Facing Adams who was already unsteady and staggering, Becker swung a punch, causing the opponent to step back and fall down.

The next second, accompanied by a brake hiss, a school bus full of elementary school students pressed over Adams, who suddenly fell across the shoulder of the road.

For such a large car, it is very dangerous to turn the steering wheel and brake while driving. In addition, Adams, a living person, was placed under the tire on one side... It caused an accident of rolling and slipping at that time.

This is not the end. Just as the school bus was slipping, a black SUV that was obviously speeding rushed from the reverse lane. Facing the sudden slanting attack of the school bus, the driver opposite was caught off guard.

In an instant, a tragic impact inevitably occurred.

After the loud bang, the school bus rolled over and glided, while the SUV was severely deformed and turned into the shape of a squeezed can.

Becker was already shocked when he saw this series of chain accidents, but the next scene made him so scared that he peed his pants.

Just about five seconds after the two cars collided, I saw... some sharp claw-like substance tore the shell of the school bus, and then a black beast arm that was as thick as a street lamp pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole pole

At the same time, the door of the SUV was kicked open from the inside. A man in black clothes and a ski mask on his face stumbled out of the car; behind him... were several people whose bodies had been squeezed and deformed by the car body, two of whom were not dead yet were watching the bones poking out of their bodies and moaning in horror.

The man who got off the bus looked at the school bus, and then without thinking... he turned around and pulled out two black, heavy, big bags from the back seat of the SUV, and stepped on his shoulders obliquely... and ran away.

The "monster" in the school bus tear the entire car into two at this moment and crawled out of it.

"It" roared violently, and grabbed a few corpses from the car and stuffed them into its mouth. It chewed a few times and swallowed it.

On this day, many people died, Adams, Becker, the adults and children in the two cars, and the residents nearby... There were hundreds of people in total.

All media in Maple Leaf County urgently interjected the news about this matter, but until the evening news, people still didn't know what was going on here...

Because FCPs and EAS intervened in the investigation at the first time, the news released to the outside world was quickly restricted; although some people also took pictures of "monsters", the official used the "online fake video" processing method, which immediately reduced the credibility and dissemination of this type of information.

Of course, they themselves have many "monsters" images taken by road probes, but... they are not sure about the origin of this thing and why it crawled out of an overturned primary school bus.

Later that day, a man who claimed that he "knows the situation" came to the police station and asked for assistance in their investigation.

After negotiating with an agent in charge of the case of Eas, the man who called himself "Uncle Xue" was allowed to watch the scene taken at the nearby intersection at the time of the incident and learned... The two people who initially caused the accident have been found to be students from Yuanshan High School.

And while the agents were waiting for Uncle Xue to tell them the origin of the "monster"...
