Chapter 4 Lodging, Rewards, Crystals

The gray ground-length robe has several unknown patterns embroidered on the robe. A long black hair and an extremely ordinary face make people subconsciously ignore it. However, those bright eyes and pale cheeks may still attract some people's attention.

The old girl in a maid dress quickly stood up from the sofa, then went to Li Song, trying to clean up the cloak for him. But Li Song refused.

You know, as a wizard, every item on him is useful. In his cloak, there are more than a dozen essential items for wizarding. Therefore, unless it is necessary, he will never let outsiders touch his own items.

Sitting on the soft sofa, Li Song thanked the owner for his generosity. The middle-aged man looked at a small jewelry with the magnifying glass in his hand while carefully following the strange guest. The other two blond girls looked at Li Song curiously. As for the maid who could sit on the sofa to rest, he went to prepare pastries, dinner and the room where guests could rest in the evening.

Sitting on the sofa, Li Song closed his eyes and rested, alleviating the fatigue caused by the road.

"Did you come from Carlonite? Can you tell me where the current situation is? I have been in the countryside for a long time, and I don't know what big thing happened?" The middle-aged manor owner put down the magnifying glass and small accessories in his hand, took out a cigarette as thick as a thumb from the box beside him and lit it and started smoking.

Smoke is swept by smoke, and the blue smoke with a fragrance quickly spreads in the living room. This smoke will not make people feel bored, but will make people feel peaceful and mentally comfortable.

"I just passed by, and didn't know what big thing happened there." Li Song shook his head and said softly: "If possible, you can taste this little thing." Li Song glanced at the middle-aged manor owner and identified that the cigarette in the other party's hand was just a fine product among ordinary cigarettes.

He felt that the owner of the manor liked smoking, so he took out a wooden box the size of a palm from the bag under his cloak and handed it to the owner of the manor.

"Five-colored smoke?" The owner of the manor took the wooden box handed over by Li Song. After opening it, he saw cigarettes wrapped in colorful paper with index fingers.

"I can't accept such a precious thing." The owner of the manor looked at the object in the box reluctantly, and then slowly handed it to Li Song.

"There is nothing precious or not. This thing is my kindness to repay you for staying for me!" Li Song did not take back the wooden box. In his opinion, there was no reason to take back the things given by a wizard. Even if the thing was precious, as long as it was given out from his own hands, there would never be any more to come back. What's more, the five-mist cigarettes he gave were made of the residues he made when he refined some drugs.

The excited owner of the manor lit a colorful smoke and took a deep breath. A stream of smoke mixed with red, yellow, green and black sprayed out from his mouth and nose. The smoke smelled exciting and made people feel energetic. This is precisely why some rich people like this kind of thing.

As the owner of the manor was breathing mist, the maid dressed in black and white clothes came in every possible time, indicating that the dinner was ready.

Since the owners of the manor had already had dinner, but as a politeness, the middle-aged manor owner still followed Li Song to have dinner in the restaurant. The other two girls went back to their room to rest after performing a ritual.

The dinner was not rich, there were only some simple pastries and staple foods: bread mixed with white noodles.

However, Li Song was still very satisfied because he knew that it was too sudden for him to visit here. They did not have the ability to prepare fine white bread and other exquisite food for him in a short time.

After dinner, Li Song talked about Liberty Ridge with the owner of the manor here. Finally, after saying good night to each other, they went back to their rooms to rest.

As a wizard, Li Song actually has very little rest time. Most of the time, he only sleeps for three or two hours a day. At other times, he either reads books, refines various drugs or prepares materials for the use of magic.

Lying on the soft velvet bed, Li Song quickly fell asleep. Two hours later, he woke up from his sleep on time. After waking up, he took out a heavy book wrapped in red copper and started reading.

This book was given to him for free when he left the Wizard Academy to the Kulun Empire. For dozens of days, he only read one-third of the book. And it was a rough reading. Because this book contains the power of a wizard, he needs to spend a lot of wizard power and thoughts to read the book.

Relying on the soft pillow, Li Song gradually became addicted to the world in books.

Late at night, bursts of thunder rolled in from a distance, and soon the wind was howling. Even through the window, you could hear the whimpering sound.

There were thunder and lightning. Relying on the wizard's methods, Li Song sensed a trace of dangerous aura from the air.

The dangerous aura was very weak, indicating that the creatures emitting this aura were not as powerful as those of wizards. However, as a wizard, Li Song knew that no matter what kind of creature he was facing, even if the dangerous aura on the other party was weak, he would have to deal with it with all his strength so as not to capsize in the gutter.

As time passed by little by little, the dangerous aura continued to move towards the Green Zero Manor where he was staying. But soon, the wizard discovered that the aura was not aimed at him, but at the owner of the Green Zero Manor.

"There is also a reason to protect the owner here!" Li Song sighed in a low voice. He felt that his homework might have been delayed tonight. This made him a little unhappy. But he had to interrupt his homework, because the person who might have suffered a disaster was the one who helped him. He could not stand by.

After putting away the heavy book and jumping off the bed, Li Song began to check the items on his body. After discovering that there was no mistake, he did not rush to go to the living room outside to protect the owner here. Instead, after adjusting his spirit, he took out some small objects from his skin.

A white bone copper stick more than one foot thick in the thumb, a light purple crystal ball the size of a baby's head, and a small bag of special powder.

Like that book, the white bone copper stick and the crystal ball were all witchcraft props given to him by the academy when he left the Wizard Academy. With these props, he could perform some strange witchcraft.

The white bone copper stick is made of a monster's skull and secret red copper, and it depicts strange wizard texts and some simple runes.

Li Song reached out and turned the bottom of the copper stick. With a crisp sound of mechanism, a thinner white bone popped out from the other end of the copper stick. The white bone spread out, as if it were a human bone claw. Of course, the white bone claw was not made of the real human palm, but was made of the skull of the monster.
