Chapter 1 Records

Grave Robbers' Chronicles Sand Sea Cavity

Wu Xie Statistics File

I thought about it for a long time before I decided to write down these things. Originally, this kind of thing passed, and I didn't plan to leave something to pass it on to future generations to prove how wonderful my life was. I recorded it because I found that if I didn't have such a habit, I would easily ignore some details that I could have discovered.

There are many things that are not worth mentioning when they first see them. Their real value may take a long time to reveal. If by that time, I have completely forgotten this information, how bad it would be.

So I have to write it down in detail. Although it will waste a lot of time and my time itself is not enough, I still decided to do this. I hope I will not regret it in the future. In fact, I am almost certain that I will not regret it now. Sometimes a good habit can only play a key role.

How much key can life be? It's just one or two times.

When recording, I don’t really disclose specific core information, so as not to affect my safety when I record things.

The first thing I recorded was actually very unexpected to me. For a period of time, I kept asking my subordinates to pay attention to abnormal phenomena in the soil and water in various places, and sorted out many rumors in the local area. I had a strong interest in villages and mountainous areas that were extremely long-lived. This abnormal long-lived refers to the inherent contradiction between local conditions and long-lived life. Or in a remote mountain village with a difficult and not long-lived life span, in the case of no characteristic differences in geographical location, a long-lived village appeared in more than a dozen villages that were very close, which is very doubtful.

However, the news in this regard is actually good. Famous Changshou Villages often have famous principles and longevity. However, the hidden Changshou Villages that have not been discovered have no population and age statistics, even if there are many centenarians in the village, it is difficult to detect them. The information collected first here has nothing to do with longevity, but are more of some bizarre stories about local wild paths that spread rumors.

Most of these stories were fabricated by some people with rich imagination and boring empty-handedness. I once thought that all such stories should be false. It was not until I encountered this incident that I realized that there was no absolute proportion in this world.

The version I heard was like this, quite bizarre. Before I finished listening, I couldn't find a fit that I believed.

The incident happened in a thermal power station project. A large-scale project of a thermal power station was built near Yinchuan. A classmate of mine was doing infrastructure hoisting there. This is a science-based derivative profession in our major. He did a good job. The only bad thing about this job is that he needs to leave home for a long time, because a thermal power station project often takes two to three years to complete, so he often needs to live in the local area.

When he was involved in this thermal power station project, he was no longer on the front line. In order to leave home less, he tried to work hard in administrative aspects. So before the project started construction, he went to the local area and participated in some local land transactions as a reserve cadre.

Buying land from farmers to build thermal power plants is a very test of patience and political skills in China, and the land he is responsible for is even more difficult to get. It is the grave of local farmers and an old grave mountain for generations.

In fact, the price they bought the mountain in the end was more than twice as expensive as expected. The main reason was that there was a spokesperson among the villagers. People who did this kind of work hated this kind of person the most, a man who went out of the countryside, worked in the city, and received a higher education. He was about 34 years old, dark and slender, gentle but a little gloomy. He was a lecturer at a university.

This man also had several graves in the cemetery. He presided over the negotiations with the developer in the village and won the victory. Overall, such a little overspending is nothing for such a large thermal power project, so things quickly reached the actual stage of relocation.

The problem lies in the time of relocation of graves. The lecturer had three graves at home, two of which were ancestral tombs. He directly said that these two graves had been moved into the collective tomb of their ancestral hall. In order to save money, many people raised funds for such a large tomb.

But there was a new grave, and his mother was unwilling to be allowed to move it to another cemetery as it was, which was his sister's grave. His sister died at the age of 5. The reason should be related to him, so he blamed himself very much. His mother obviously did not forgive him, and it was very vicious when she talked about this matter.

When he moved his sister's grave, many people were present. It happened to be the busiest day of the grave relocation. It rained heavily that day, and the mountains became very muddy. After the soil was opened, they found that the coffin was rotting very badly, and the surface corrosion reached an amazing level. The whole coffin seemed to be foaming, moldy, and mycelium-like tofu, and it felt like it would collapse as soon as it poked.

After they opened the coffin, they carefully carried it down the mountain first and placed it in a temporary transfer station. Then they immediately went to the new cemetery to bury it. As a result, when they were down the mountain, another porter slipped and was hit by another household's coffin.

The two coffins collided together, and his sister's coffin was knocked off the bottom. The things in the coffin leaked directly from the bottom and rolled into the mud.

The old lady fainted when she saw this scene. The lecturer rushed up and cursed the porter while searching for the bones by herself. We know that the custom in the countryside has been around since ancient times and the corpses are wrapped in quilts. After the lecturer put the bones together, he immediately found something was wrong.

"His sister was buried when she was four years old, but what he picked out from the coffin was an adult bone." When my classmate told me about this, he gestured at the length of the leg bone: "The leg bones have matured, and the skull and phalanx of a 4-year-old girl are very different from those of an adult woman, so everyone on the spot slowly reacted."

"Has it been dropped?" My first reaction was this. When I moved my grave in my hometown, I encountered something strange. Later, it was confirmed that it was my third uncle who did it himself, but real cases have occurred in many places where the body was dropped in the coffin.

"If it was a person who had lost his bag, I won't come to you." My classmate told me: "They later reported the case. Although the criminal investigation was of little significance to this matter, the police proved that the skeleton was indeed her sister's."
