Chapter 91 Go to Yingzhou

The age difference between Qidao in Western Shu is 11 or 2 years old. The oldest Yuhengzi just turned 41 this year, and the youngest Tianshuzi is only twenty-nine years old this year. They have practiced their own internal skills since childhood, and no one should be underestimated. Although they only have a dull sword around them, they can cut iron like mud. When robbers and bandits meet them, they are afraid of avoiding them.

After listening to their introduction, Wang Chonghan said, "My uncles, if you had known that you were so powerful, how dare you fight with you?"

Yu Hengzi smiled and said, "Nephew Wang, you are less than fifteen years old and have such agile skills. I believe you have worked very hard. When I see Xiaosan Zhenren another day, I must praise you." Wang Chonghan hurriedly waved his hand and said pleaded: "Uncle Yuhengzi, you must not mention this to my master. If he knew that I offended you, he would not let me go easily." Yu Hengzi was stunned and said, "You and I are just practicing martial arts. How could your master be surprised?"

Wang Chonghan said, "You are distinguished guests from my Cangqiong Sect. They came from Shu Kingdom thousands of miles away. I couldn't come forward to welcome you, but I fought with Uncle Kaiyangzi. Do you think my master will be angry when he knows it?" Kaiyangzi joked, "If I were your master, I would have been angry to death by you!" The other people laughed after hearing this.

Wang Chonghan didn't say anything, feeling ashamed, thinking: "I am usually vulgar and reckless, and I can't think about it calmly when I encounter something. Today, when I meet a martial arts master, why don't I suffer a loss?" He was depressed when he suddenly heard Yu Hengzi say, "Second, don't talk nonsense, Wang Xian is angry with you." Wang Chonghan said quickly: "I'm not angry, uncle, don't misunderstand."

Yu Hengzi said: "This time we went north with twists and turns. Today, we finally arrived in Zhaozhou and saw the disciples of Xiaosan Zhenren. It is not advisable to stay here for a long time. We should set off immediately and go to Yingzhou."

The others answered: "Since my brother said that, let's go now." The group walked out the door, untied the horse tied, turned over, and prepared to set off again.

Wang Chonghan had no mount to ride, and stood alone at the door at a loss. Yu Hengzi walked over with his dark horse and said, "Nephew Wang, we have no extra horses. If you don't dislike me, just ride the same horse with me. What do you think?" Wang Chonghan nodded and agreed, and said gratefully, "Uncle, you are so nice to me." Yu Hengzi stretched out his hand, pulled him on the horse, then waved the horse whip, and galloped towards the north.

On the way, Wang Chonghan learned why the Seven Dao of Western Shu delayed its trip. It turned out that the people north of the Yellow River heard that the Khitan army attacked Jin again and fled to the south with their families. They passed by Kaifeng Prefecture, did not dare to stop, and went southwest to the borders of Shu and Nanping. In order to prevent the refugees from entering the borders of Jin, the border guards of Shu had deployed heavy troops at each pass. As soon as the Seven Dao of Western Shu had reached the borders of Jin, they learned that the pass had been closed. They had to detour through Nanping and enter Jin from Fangzhou.

Since Yu Hengzi and others entered Jin State, they saw that the people in the Central Plains were displaced, which was not like the people of Shu State's living and working in peace and contentment. They were deeply moved and thought: "Since the founding of Jin State, they have fought with the Khitan three times in just ten years. Although they have been lucky enough to win, their national strength has been consumed seriously. I wonder if they can withstand the attack of the Khitan this time."

The next day, the group arrived in Dingzhou and saw that houses in the suburbs were burned to ashes, and hungry and cold people were everywhere. Although the Khitan had retreated for several days, the people here were still shocked. Both sides of the official road were filled with new tombs. Yu Hengzi thought to himself: "What are the sins of the Khitan emperors coming to Jin State to compete for land? Why are the people here tragically killed by ordinary people?"

Yu Hengzi couldn't help but feel resentment in his heart and said to the other people: "Look, these are all good things done by the Khitan barbarians! The house can be rebuilt if it is burned, but how can people be reborn if they die? The Khitans do not understand benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom, and think that conquest is killing. It's really a big mistake!"

Yuhengzi asked Wang Chonghan to take out the dry food on the horse and put it on the dead grass on the roadside. Kaiyangzi, Yaoguangzi, Tianquanzi, Tianjizi, Tianxuanzi and Tianshuzi sat on the horse. Seeing his elder brother's behavior, he was quite moved. He took out the food he had with him and gently placed it on the grass.

When the hungry people saw the food, their eyes glowed and they ran over to compete. They grabbed the dry food on the ground and stuffed it into their mouths with dead grass.

Yu Hengzi looked at everyone, shook his head helplessly, and sighed: "It seems that they have not eaten for many days. It's so pitiful!" Wang Chonghan asked softly: "Uncle, since the Khitan has withdrawn long ago, why did the Jin army still refuse to come to save the people?"

Yu Hengzi thought for a moment, gritted his teeth and said, "The commander of the Jin army failed the people's ardent expectations and would sooner or later be punished by God." After that, he looked at the hungry people on the roadside, saw that they were knelt down and kowtowed to him, and hurriedly said, "Everyone, get up quickly! We can't bear it."

The hungry people crawled on the ground and said, "Thank you for your kindness today!" Yu Hengzi replied, "What a pity!" Some of the hungry people asked, "Where are you going to go when you are heading north?" Yu Hengzi said calmly, "We are going to Yingzhou."

When the hungry people heard this, they were shocked and said, "You must not go! The Khitan army is stationed in Yingzhou. If they collide with them, you will be in danger."

Kaiyangzi said with a firm heart: "Thank you for your reminder. We knew there was a tiger in the mountain, but we were going toward the tiger mountain!" The hungry people were full of doubts. The other people raised the sword in their hands and said loudly: "Don't worry, we are not fools! Just avoid the Khitan army at that time."

The hungry people saw these people looking calm and without fear on their faces. They thought they had not fought with the Khitan army yet, and they didn't know how powerful they were. They reminded: "Dear knights, the Khitans are fierce and vicious, you should be careful!" Yu Hengzi and others bowed and said, "Thank you for your concern. We still have something to do, take care of you."

The hungry people stood up one after another, looked at the backs of the group as they walked away, and sighed: "They are such good people. I hope they can be safe and sound."

Xishu Qidao and Wang Chonghan rode a fast horse. In just one day, they left the border of Jin and came to Yingzhou, the Sixteen Prefectures of Yanyun. As soon as the group walked forward dozens of miles, they found several Khitan soldiers coming from the opposite side.

Yu Hengzi strangled the horse and said to everyone behind him: "The Khitan soldiers are coming, everyone cheer up." The others subconsciously touched the big sword at their waists.
