Chapter 24 The Weird Inn

"Li Qing, what happened last night?"

Qi Yun squeezed over and asked in a low voice.

When Li Qing and others saw Qi Yun, they immediately breathed a sigh of relief, but when they noticed the bandage on Qi Yun's chest, their faces changed.

"Second Master, are you injured?"

"I'm fine, why are there one person missing, and three dogs?"

Qi Yun glanced at Li Qing and others.

The town where the five of them came to last night, and now only Li Qing and the other four have come out.

When Li Qing and others heard this, their faces became even more ugly.

Li Qing whispered: "Second Master, we are about to report to you. This inn... This inn seems to be haunted."

"Um?"

Qi Yun narrowed his eyes and said, "What does it mean?"

Li Qing turned around and looked at the inn, his face turned pale, and he whispered: "Second Master, let's find a safer place and I'll tell you again."

They walked out of here, more than a hundred meters away from the inn, and came to a big tree at the entrance of the town.

Li Qing looked ugly and said, "Sangou disappeared last night. We didn't see him when we got up early this morning. What's even more strange is that there seemed to be someone talking in the room of this inn."

The other three gang members were also pale and nodded quickly.

"Yes, Second Master, I heard it too."

“So too.”

"What the hell is going on?"

Qi Yun asked in a low voice.

"Last night we came here to settle down according to your order. I didn't think anything at that time. The shopkeeper was very enthusiastic and took us into the room. Because the inn was relatively large, we only asked for a room by ourselves."

"But when I was sleeping for the first time, something strange happened. I always heard people talking beside the bed, buzzing and messy, and I couldn't hear clearly. I got up several times last night and thought it was coming from next door, but after checking, I found that there were only a few of us next door, and no one lived there at all. The other men who settled in the world lived upstairs, or they were separated from us by several rooms."

"We also asked, they never spoke, they all went to bed early."

"This sound lasted all night, and I didn't dare to close my eyes all night. The sound kept going, as if someone was talking through the fog, or as if someone was scolding me. It sounded hysterical, but not very clear."

"As soon as I woke up this morning, Sangou, who was sleeping in the westernmost room, disappeared. At that time, we thought he had gone out to have breakfast, but when we went out, we found that all our horses were dead."

"Second Master, have you seen those horses before? Logically speaking, all the horses died, there was definitely some movement, but we didn't hear any sound last night."

"I went to question the shopkeeper this morning. The shopkeeper looked aggrieved and said he didn't know anything. We asked other tenants, but they didn't hear anyone talking in the room. Moreover, we searched through the entire inn but couldn't find Sangou's trace, so we almost arrested the shopkeeper."

Li Qing said with a pale face.

Qi Yun quickly understood the general situation, frowned, and said, "Let's go, take me to meet that shopkeeper."

He walked towards the inn.

Li Qing and others became bolder again and followed behind.

In the inn, there were seven or eight tourists quarreling around the boss and asking for explanation.

The boss was a short and fat middle-aged man. He was surrounded by these seven or eight gangsters, with a bitter face and kept explaining, but no one was willing to listen. In the end, he said all the good things, was willing to compensate for the damage, and waived a few days of room fee. These gangsters snorted coldly.

"I want to see that it is your shopkeeper who is secretly tampering with each other. Do you want to keep us for a few more days before deliberately killing our horses? What a profitable businessman!"

A man from the world said coldly.

The shopkeeper smiled bitterly and finally sent these people upstairs.

After Qi Yun came in, his eyes looked back and forth on the shopkeeper with a cold look, and then looked at the other clerks.

In addition to this shopkeeper, there are two waiters in the store. They are single and weak and walk lightly, as if they can be blown down by the wind at any time, giving people a sense of strangeness.

After the shopkeeper noticed Qi Yun's gaze, he hurriedly came over.

"My uncles, I really don't know how your horses died? I don't know whether you have your people. The younger ones are willing to compensate you. Please give up the younger ones."

"You don't have to compensate. We will stay for another night tonight and just arrange me next to them."

Qi Yun said coldly.

"Yes, this old man, come with me."

The shopkeeper nodded and bowed, and walked towards the second floor with Qi Yun.

Qi Yun directly chose Sangou's room, waved his hand, and asked the shopkeeper to retreat.

Li Qing and others all followed in.

The room was not big, quite simple, with a bed, a table, and a mirror, and nothing else.

Qi Yun observed here for a while and only saw Sangou's clothes and a steel knife. It seemed that he took off last night and was ready to go to bed.

He grabbed Sangou's steel knife and pulled it out directly. The knife light was sharp and it was filled with cold light, without any blood. He should have never used it last night.

"Second Master, do you want to arrest the shopkeeper directly? Just torture and torture him."

Li Qing was fierce.

"Don't worry, let's see the situation tonight. You guys stay in a room and don't go out even if you have nothing to do."

Qi Yun said.

"Yes, Second Master."

Li Qing and others nodded.

The day passed quickly.

In addition to those tourists during the day, a few strangers lived in the inn.

When I heard that something happened in the inn last night, these tourists from the world were not afraid, but were also very interested.

Qi Yun stood in the corridor in front of the door and saw the tourists from the rivers and lakes, with a total of three people coming in.

The first person who came in was ugly, in his fifties, and was still hunched, smiling, and had a mouthful of yellow teeth.

The second person came in more than an hour later. He limped on one leg and leaned on a bamboo pole. When he walked, he limped. After coming in, he walked around the inn.

The third one is normal, wearing a white robe, handsome face, looking in his early twenties, holding a folding fan in his hand, and he felt indescribable in his body. Even Qi Yun felt ashamed of himself when he saw it.

When the three of them passed by their door, they couldn't help but pause, revealing a strange look, and looked at him more.

I don’t know if it was an illusion, but Qi Yun felt that the three of them were like the young man with a misty head, with a hint of indescribable weirdness, as if they were looking at some food.

Qi Yun frowned, and when they looked at him, he also looked at them.

The three people who came in the past and the next did not look like they had practiced martial arts at all, but they had a faint sense of danger.

Especially the ugly old man with a hunchback, when he passed by, he sneered a few times, not knowing what he was laughing at.

Night is coming.

In the room, a bright red candle was inserted on the table, burning quietly.

Qi Yun sat cross-legged on the bed, waiting silently for the sound of speaking in the room.

However, after the third update, there were no abnormalities.

He waited for a while, got up and walked towards Li Qing and others' room.

The corridor was pitch black and there was no trace of light. It was like a gloomy corridor, filled with a faint smell of mold, which was completely different from the daytime.

"Um?"

Qi Yun realized something was wrong and walked quickly towards Li Qing and the others' room.

"Li Qing!"

Qi Yun began to knock on the door.

There was silence in the room without any sound.

Qi Yun frowned and stomped open the door.

Bang!

The entire door collapsed directly and fell to the ground, causing a dust to stir up. The room was gloomy, blurred light, and a faint smell of mold, which seemed to have no one lived in it for several years.
