Chapter 126 Immortality
Tang Xuanzang clasped his hands together.
Amitabha! Good, good! His performance is very similar to Tang Monk in Journey to the West. The book must have been written based on him.
Later, Tang Xuanzang said again: "Form is emptiness, emptiness is color. So, what is emptiness and what is color?"
When asked this question, everyone was silent because they didn’t know what these two were, what color and what emptiness were?
With these eight words alone, it will stump many lay disciples, all the ministers present, including Li Shimin and Changsun.
They said at least some research on Buddhism, but they were stumped, let alone Li Chengqian?
But Li Chengqian is not an ordinary person. If he was not proficient in Buddhism, he might not be able to answer and could talk nonsense, but now it is different.
His current Buddhist principles continue to emerge in his heart. As long as Tang Xuanzang dares to ask, he will definitely be able to reply.
"What is emptiness and what is color? Is this... so difficult at the first time?"
Li Shimin said straight, Empress Changsun was also a little depressed, and also looked at Li Chengqian's place.
It was only obvious that he didn't seem to have any huge reaction.
However, the ministers took a breath of air conditioning, and some were worried about whether Li Chengqian could agree.
Li Chengqian looked indifferent, and then he spoke.
"The so-called emptiness means that the nature is empty, life is empty, and all dependent origination is empty. As for color, the environment taken by the eye root is called color.
In a moment, life is like a white horse passing through the gap, the far away is like a change of fields, and the nearest is like a grass and a tree. They all have life, born from the gathering of causes and conditions, and end when the cause and conditions disperse and disappear. The period of existence is long or short. The so-called "Bodhisattvas should not dwell on anything in the Dharma" means that we should not be attached to giving in terms of appearance and not have the concept of objects."
Li Chengqian's response made Tang Xuanzang look surprised, and said, "That's why, I have received the teachings."
Then he contracted with his hands again, with a pious expression.
"The Diamond Sutra says: How to stay, how to subdue the mind, why?"
Then Tang Xuanzang raised this question that made people see very well. People have never even heard of it.
"The vast number of sentient beings in the world have no dwelling or attachment. This is dwelling. If there is dwelling, this is suffering. "How should we stay?" No dwelling is called true dwelling. If there is dwelling, it is not dwelling, and dwelling is not dwelling, which is called true dwelling."
With so much living, everyone didn't react for a while.
"Okay, okay! Anuttara Samyaksambodhi is the law of action and the law of inaction?"
"Anuttara Samyaksambodhi, which is translated as "right and omniscient knowledge", is the wisdom of Buddha.
Buddha’s wisdom is the “leave the four sentences and eliminate the hundred non-objections”. The “all non-objections” include “not acting, not inaction”.”
Tang Xuanzang was stunned again and stopped asking, probably what he was digesting.
Now no one knows how to react.
On the one hand, they felt that Tang Xuanzang, who was powerful in Buddhism, was defeated. On the other hand, they were also surprised. Where did the prince learn anything? If he had just read the Buddhist scriptures, it would be impossible to answer the questions in a smooth manner without any imagination.
"Master..."
Li Shimin called Tang Xuanzang to say.
Only then did Tang Xuanzang wake up.
"I admire the Buddhist teachings that His Highness the Crown Prince's teachings are above me!"
People just now thought that Tang Xuanzang could not defeat him. Now, judging from his words, he himself admitted that Buddhism is not as good as Li Chengqian.
At this time, when people thought Li Chengqian would be humble, they heard Li Chengqian say, "I just got it by chance, but the master seems to have not learned the Dharma!"
As soon as this was said, he was about to start arguing, and everyone's faces changed drastically.
In particular, Li Shimin's face looked even more ugly.
"Don't be rude!"
Li Shimin shouted.
Empress Changsun said, "Gan'er, the mage comes from afar. To reflect my royal rituals, you must not lose etiquette."
Li Chengqian pretended not to speak, but Tang Xuanzang said, "Your Highness the Prince is right. I really haven't learned Buddhism well. If I didn't learn well, I'm afraid that people would say it? I think it's better to let Your Highness the Prince continue and let me know what's wrong."
Tang Xuanzang was indeed a thorn, but if this happened, Li Chengqian had even more reason to argue.
Otherwise, if Li Shimin didn't let him fight, he would be sad.
So he said, "Master is noble, what I say is not a false statement! It is naturally the best thing that the mage can listen to."
"Yes, yes, what the Crown Prince said is extremely yes!"
Now no matter what Li Chengqian said, Tang Xuanzang would put his hands together and say it.
"Practitioners first cultivate their minds. Nirvana and silence are naturally happy. The eternal happiness and self-purity in the world are more free, and they are free in one mind and are free everywhere. The master does have shortcomings in cultivating his mind!"
After Li Chengqian said this, Tang Xuanzang looked pious again. Now, no matter what Li Chengqian said, he looked like this.
Now everyone has an illusion.
That is, in front of them, the prince was no longer the prince, but a wise man, and even Tang Xuanzang was devoutly destined.
At the same time, Li Shimin was also surprised. This... he obviously invited the mage to give a lecture, but now it's better, the mage asked his son to teach him.
This is how it ends now?
He felt embarrassed.
It is also impossible to stop Li Chengqian from teaching Tang Xuanzang a lesson.
I have to watch and see how things will eventually develop.
Li Chengqian was not idle, and kept telling Tang Xuanzang what was wrong, saying that he was not easy to learn, and saying that he had learned Buddhism in vain.
If I were an ordinary person, I would have been ashamed of everything, but Tang Xuanzang still looked humble.
At this time, the system also prompted.
Tang Xuanzang lost three skills and attributes, please select one of them.
Skill 1: Forever
Attribute 1: Charm 5
Attribute 2: Intelligence 6
Li Chengqian was stunned and actually argued that Tang Xuanzang had fallen into immortality. It seemed that his guess was nothing wrong.
At the same time, Tang Xuanzang also lost 6 points of his top intelligence. Now his intelligence is almost over 60, and his intelligence will be available in the future, but if this skill is gone, it will no longer exist.
This option is easy to choose.
Of course, it is immortality!
So he equipped immortality with equip.
He felt a constant stream of vitality coming towards him.
Is this immortality?
Is immortality even possible without eating his meat?
That is to say, his life can be infinitely longer! Then his life will be infinitely longer. As long as he becomes the emperor, he will really live.
I feel very happy even if I think about it.
Then, it's about to blush again.
Back to reality.
