In the summer of 2018, I was still in Shanghai at that time. I wrote the beginning of this book after work, and then put it down and it was not uploaded until October.

There was no hope for it, because I had written some online novels before, but the results were not very good after uploading; I didn’t expect that this book looked good after uploading (this beautiful misunderstanding). This book was signed with Chuangshi Chinese.com, but I read the "Qidian.com New Book List" every day. I didn’t know until Qidian.com sealed the book itself in 2019.

Fortunately, after the official signing of the contract, the data of Chuangshi.com also improved.

But when it was released, I was sick all the time, I was not energetic and couldn't keep up with the updates. There was no sudden update on PK or the day it was released, so my grades naturally plummeted.

Later, I worked hard to update while recuperating. Of course, the fewer and fewer grades, and my grades were getting worse and worse. I was often scolded by readers. The grades, plots and my mentality collapsed at the same time.

Originally, the style and story of this book are more suitable for Qidian, and the readers of Qidian also gave me more encouragement; but in mid-2019, Qidian "self-inspection" sealed many books on the Creation Platform, and this book was also sealed. Since then, it can only be published on the Creation Platform, losing many readers of Qidian. I am almost like a stand-alone update, which makes my mentality even worse.

However, when I am fine, I will think of the characters in this book, the plot that has already happened, and the direction of the story I once set, I can't help but want to write some.

Later I found that in "qq Reading", there were always some readers who never left this book and insisted on following it. Some readers even sent red envelopes for me to attract more readers.

There are also people who insist on voting for this book every day, even if I don’t update it, it makes me feel very ashamed.

Today I say "I'm sorry" to all readers who support this book.

I opened a book and dug a hole for you, but you got into it. But I didn’t dig the hole bigger and better, and didn’t give you a better reading experience. No matter what the reason is, it’s my fault.

After I was aware of the mistake, I insisted on finishing this book.

This book ends at this time, and I think it is just right that the protagonist has already obtained the throne, the heaviest thing in the story.

As for how he became the emperor?

Some clues were left in the book, Changsun Huan fled, Li Shimin doubted his identity, there were enemies on the grassland, Qiang chiefs... etc. There would be a great battle when he first ascended the throne.

All of these are left to readers for their own imagination.

This book is my first book that lasts over one million words. Although I feel very accomplished when I write "The Complete Book", I cannot deny that there are many shortcomings in this book.

I have not read the Legend of the Heroes of the Sui and Tang Dynasties (I haven't even watched TV series.) So the protagonist of this book travels through time and into a relatively real historical space. Therefore, this book is very different from other books on the Internet that travel through time during the Zhenguan period, but sometimes considering the preferences of readers, I also have to write some jokes.

Since I want to describe a relatively real historical space, I will inevitably stick to the biography of historical books when shaping characters, which greatly limits my creation.

When I want to describe the real historical space, I still have an obsession in my heart that I cannot blacken the protagonist too seriously, nor do I want to blacken his opponent too seriously, which leads to the drama being less conflicted and the struggle is not fierce.

However, when the protagonist has no system, his force cannot be upgraded, and there is no strange power and chaos. His status is already below one person. The crown prince above ten thousand people has also produced gunpowder and hot air balloons, which is almost invincible to the inside and outside... In this case, I also created an opponent with a bottom line for him, which is really hard to describe.

This method of creation is naturally undesirable, but the book has already begun, so I can't change the course halfway and can only go all the way to the end - finish writing in this style.

Fortunately, the book has been completed, so there is no need to worry about it anymore.
