Chapter 141 The first shot(1/2)

141The first lens

On the last day of December 2010, the first shot of Operation Mekong was officially launched.

This scene is not long in the script, just a few short sentences.

"subtitle:

Two days later

09:06

Cheongsheng Wharf, northern South Vietnam

An aunt was washing dishes by the river, and a body covered with eyes and roasted hands surfaced.

pier.

The villagers kept snatching out the bodies from the water and placed them in the ferry.

The masses were surrounded and there was a lot of discussion.

The policeman pulled the sirens in and took over the scene.

On the shore, the reporter was doing a live broadcast.

Reporter: Hello everyone, we will go back to the dock site and take you to see the latest situation. The relevant departments have confirmed that the thirteen corpses are Lu Xing No. 8…”

This scene is just a few short sentences in the script, but it takes a lot of work, time, and a lot of manpower and material resources to shoot this scene.

Not to mention anything else, just the dispatch and arrangement of so many extras is a troublesome.

For example, the sentence "It's surrounded by the masses and talks" in the script is just a few simple words, but if you want to shoot this feeling, you need dozens or even hundreds of extras, and one or two representative extras must appear in the camera, with actions and lines.

Chen Fei does not need to be played in this scene, but as the consultant of the crew and the screenwriter and investor of the show, he naturally needs to be present.

Anyway, this is also the first scene of this drama, right?

Lin Chao, whose eyes were blood-red, held the walkie-talkie and shouted: "How are the preparations in all groups?"

"Others ok."

"Light group ok."

"Camera set ok."

"Props group ok."

The heads of each group reported one after another.

Lin Chao looked over one by one like a general patrolling his troops, and waited until he was sure that all the places were well organized and there was no problem. Then he shouted: "Prepare, start!"

The drama immediately took the record board and started playing the board: "11 scenes are shot once."

With a bang, the crisp sound of the recording board sounded at the quiet shooting scene.

When the photographer heard the board was playing, the photographer began to focus, and the first shot of Operation Mekong was finally started.

The first thing the camera is aimed at is an aunt from Nanyue.

The aunt is in her forties, a typical local, with small eyes, dark skin, short head, but she is very energetic, full of strength, and a standard image of a lower-level woman.

She was rubbing clothes. After washing for a while, she picked up the basin of water and poured a basin of water into the river with a thunderous sound. The body floated up in the water. The aunt was so scared that she screamed.

This drama is actually not difficult. If it is an experienced extra, it is usually just one.

But today...

For some reason, Chen Fei felt a vague feeling in his heart.

He didn't know what that feeling was, but he just felt that today's shooting would not go smoothly and something might happen.

His intuition was always very accurate, so after he felt that bad feeling, he couldn't help but become alert.

The camera was closer and pointed at the aunt.

The aunt was doing the laundry scrubbing.

It's not difficult here. Although this extra is just a local person who was temporarily recruited, not a full-time extra, and has no rich performance experience, it's just that they do what they often do.

This aunt did a pretty good job, just in a normal way.

After a moment, she picked up the basin and poured the water into the river with a rush.

When the water in the basin falls on the river, the people in the prop group must immediately float the body up.

This cooperation is fine. Not to mention that it is perfect, but there is still no delay.

But the problem arises in the next step.

The aunt should be frightened when she saw the floating body.

At this time, it is time to test your acting skills. Some masters at the level of actors can easily perform this detail. Of course, as extras, the requirements must not be that high. For simpler ones, you can throw a basin, scream, or take a step back, and show a terrifying look anyway... In fact, it is not difficult.

But when the aunt today saw the body, she screamed. It was no problem, but she turned around and ran away. She accidentally panicked and fell into the river.

"Help-Help-"

The aunt was struggling in the river.

The staff in the crew, including other extras, thought that this aunt had great acting skills and performed this small detail incredible, but soon found something wrong. The aunt was really scared and scared into the river. If she didn't rescue her, she might really drown.

Lin Chao is quite experienced. When he saw that the situation was not good, he immediately directed the rescue team to rescue people.

The aunt was quickly rescued and the professional medical staff immediately processed her, controlling the water and detecting various physical data. After a while, the aunt returned to normal vital signs.

However, this guy looked frightened from then on and said he would never be willing to act in this play again.

"There are ghosts! There are ghosts!"

She muttered, her expression a little dazed.

Lin Chao asked the translator to say to her over and over again in a gentle voice, but the effect was minimal and he could do nothing, so he could only give up on the actor.

"Hurry up and find another one, move quickly." Lin Chao yelled at the crew's staff.

The first shot was so unsuccessful, which made him very angry.

After almost half an hour of struggle, I found another one.

The extra was a nearby resident, very curious about acting and full of interest. However, he was just a pure novices and didn't even have a chance to appear on camera.

The assistant director had to tell her the drama again, including what she wanted to do, say, see, and react to her. She said it several times one by one, and then asked her to try it a few times, and basically passed it. Then she notified Lin Chao that she could start filming.

Lin Chao had no choice but to go through the process just now.

The people who played the aunt have changed, so naturally, the previous shots have been in vain, and everything has to be started again.

"Preparation, three, two, one, start!"

The scene started from the beginning.

The camera focused on the new aunt. The aunt was washing her clothes, and then poured out the water in the basin. The water in the basin poured into the river. The body of the props in the river floated up on the control of the prop group. The aunt noticed the strangeness in the river, looked left and right, and then, for some reason, she took a few steps forward and looked at it more curiously.

"Stop and stop!"

Lin Chao had no choice but to shout to stop.

The aunt was stopped by Lin Chao, but she couldn't understand what he was saying. She just looked at him in surprise and puzzled, with an incomprehensible light in her eyes.

Lin Chao said a lot, very angry. The translator had to select some important information, filter out the swear words, organize some language, and re-talk the aunt.

The aunt heard this and suddenly realized that she had to scream in horror when she saw the corpse. Her performance just now was not up to standard because she was not afraid after seeing the floating thing, but was full of curiosity. She wanted to see if that person was really dead.

This scene made the people in the crew speechless. What happened to these extras today? One was scared by the prop corpse and almost fainted, while the other was like discovering some treasure. The props made by their prop group were quite professional, not that unbearable, right?

The group was both amused and helpless.

The first scene of Operation Mekong had to be filmed for the third time.

Fortunately, the third time went a lot.

The aunt was washing clothes and pouring water. The body floated up. The aunt was frightened. More bodies were found and more people saw the bodies. The police intervened and the reporter reported.

Although there are not many scenes, Lin Chao had to shoot several sets of shots. The aunt used one shot to find the body, one for salvage site, and one for police car intervention.

In order to minimize the number of shots as much as possible, Lin Chao and Chen Fei discussed it for a long time, formulated many plans, and finally decided to make a fuss on the camera.

The camera is installed on a lift, which can rise and fall, and can also move forward and backward.

First, the camera aimed at the aunt who was washing clothes by the river, and first shot her scene. After the filming, the camera retreated and more extras entered the camera. Then, the camera rose to the height and included the panoramic view of the dock. More bodies were found throughout the dock.

In this way, many scenes can be expressed with one shot.

This method is often used in subsequent dramas, which can greatly save manpower, material resources and costs.

After filming the scene of the aunt washing clothes and pouring water, Lin Chao gave the order, the crew quickly moved and prepared for the second scene.

Today's drama is in full swing, and the rhythm of the entire crew gradually moves from the beginning to the smoothest moment.

But the crew suddenly became noisy outside, as if many people were rushing towards here, making noise.

"What's going on?"

Everyone turned their heads and looked outside.
