Chapter 506 Magic
Galen chased and beat Silas, but Silas could maintain an amazing speed with his harness. He dodged his life-threatening blow back, and two iron chains drew through an arc, leaving a scratch on Galen's side face.
Taking this as a starting point, he opened the distance and turned to defense to offense. He first lowered his head to avoid the sword that hit his throat, and rotated to provide momentum for the chain. Garen swept the chain away from the first sword, and the second sword stabbed Silas' waist and abdomen, but the sword edge was left behind by another chain. Before he could swing the third sword, Silas's chain had already swept his calves.
The heavy iron ring was tangled and revolved around Galen's popliteal fossa. Silas pulled back and lost his balance and was forced to kneel down on one knee. Then another chain swept to his right arm holding the sword. Galen felt a pull of force and instinctively resisting, but unexpectedly, Silas pulled himself with this anchor and hit Galen in the face.
Galen was beaten back by Silas' heavy punch. He was strong and could not afford to fall to the ground even if he was hit. The judge fell aside. Because he was eager to kill Silas, he did not even find any flaws exposed. Silas' weapon was two iron chains, and the attack frequency would only be higher than that of him who used a two-handed sword. He should steadily seek to defeat the enemy with one blow, rather than wielding the weapon like a reckless man.
It was too late to understand this now. His nose was broken and the severe pain made him dazzled, and he couldn't even hit his mental thoughts. The reason why he was able to arrive at Miyin City was that he spent most of his physical strength on the boat, and then led another arduous battle, which was almost at the limit. He suddenly had a spineless idea, as if he couldn't afford to fall down.
"You have that little ability?"
Silas had a sarcastic smile on his face, and he clenched his fists and released the captured power. Without Garen's interference, a great sword condensed by golden light was formed in his hand, the shape was exactly the same as Judgment. It had almost no mass, and could be raised with one hand, but its power was not inferior to the body.
He walked towards Garen in a leisurely manner. The tone of the war had been set. The Fearless Pioneer and Garen fell down together, and no one could save the Secret Silver City.
At the last moment of his life, Galen heard the footsteps of Silas being approaching, and the sound of the chain dragging was like a death note, which was particularly harsh on the noisy battlefield. But he did not choose to look at the enemy, but turned to look at Lux not far away, his sister Lux.
Lux was frightened by the cruelty of the battlefield and lost the strength to stand up. He did not want Lux to lend a helping hand to him, but just wanted to take a few more glances at her in the last time.
"Xiaoguang, close your eyes first, and I will soon create a world full of light."
Silas came to Garen and raised his lightsaber to slash it down, but the sense of barrier coming from his hands made him know that he could not kill Garen.
He looked at the initiator of these, Lux. She suddenly stretched out her hand, twisted the light into a substantial shield, blocking Silas's deathly knife.
Garen widened his eyes. Lux actually released her magic in public. If this spread, she would probably never tolerate her for the rest of her life... Demacia would no longer tolerate her.
"My light, what are you doing?" Silas said in confusion.
"Enough, you and I are not from the same world!" Lux kept injecting magic, and the curved light barrier became more and more solid, wrapping Galen tightly inside.
"So that's it. I wanted to help you break the shackles, but I didn't expect you to be on the same side as those nobles." Silas made a heartbroken expression: "I'm very sad and can't show you the beautiful world that is coming."
This sentence made Lux tremble all over, and she saw Silas lifting his sword and walking towards her.
A flash of lightning suddenly slashed in front of Silas, causing him to pause. It was powerful, but it was not accurate.
He looked in the direction where the lightning struck and saw a boy who was underage, dressed in a poor man, and he should not appear on the battlefield no matter how he looked.
"Don't move Miss Guard!" The boy stretched out his hands, and there were electric arcs leaping between them, meeting Silas's gaze without fear.
There were many similar people beside him. They looked ordinary people, but they could use all kinds of magic and thus had good combat power. A ragged old man raised his wrist and summoned a rattan braided rope, tripped over a barbarian soldier holding an axe to help Demacia soldiers complete the counterattack. The young woman who had rejected Lux, her hands were like burnt red steel, caught the enemy's machete and melted into a pool of iron.
"You..." Lux cried with joy. Her efforts were not in vain. These mages who had escaped with her really came to help her!
"Are you bribed too?" Silas looked at the mages with a sad face. He could see the essence of the magic in their bodies, but unfortunately they chose the wrong side and could not be used by him.
"Get out of here!" the boy spitted at Silas.
Silas was so angry that he trembled and turned around and walked towards the boy. Lux quickly reminded: "Be careful, don't let him touch you, he will absorb your magic!"
"Shut up!"
Silas swung the chain and pulled Lax to the ground, glaring at her with a ferocious face. But because of her reminder, the mages were wary of him.
The old man raised his hand, and the rattan broke through the ground and wrapped around Silas' ankle. He couldn't break free for a while. The boy took the opportunity to slash out a lightning arrow, but Silas raised his shackles to block it.
The handguard absorbed lightning, and the blazing electric current passed through his flesh and blood, twisting his whole body. Silas' heart contracted with force, and the air in his body was squeezed out. The deadly magic drowned him, and Silas felt the world around him still.
The discharged boy looked motionless, his extended arm stopped in the air, like a statue. Lux was also fixed on the spot, tears were like dim crystals, and the dazzling light around him gradually faded away. Then he took a breath and felt the power flowing calmly throughout his body, allowing him to reshape.
Silas raised his hand, and lightning burst out. The lightning flashed, and the world moved again. The boy collapsed weakly, and his whole body was charred and smoked.
"No--"
I don't know who wailed, but Silas didn't notice. He only felt an indescribable pleasure rising to the spiritual cap of heaven.
Magic, this is the pleasure that only magic can bring. These Demacians are fearing, and they do not understand this power, and they regard the gifts given by God as curses.
It's really stupid. Such a rigid country should have been overturned long ago.
