Chapter 136 dropout children

No one does not want to have a bright future. We may not be able to choose our own origins, but we can choose to struggle. When sitting in the classroom, our asxs. is the same, we have the same dream and the same goal, and no poor child does not want to rely on knowledge to change his destiny, but everyone's situation will be different.

Those bright eyes burst out with firm eyes, all of which are desires for knowledge. We therefore learn that they are eager to change their destiny with knowledge, and their desire for knowledge is the most practical way of hope for these children.

I'm not advertising Hope Project.

I just ran into two out-of-school children again.

After eating and drinking from the tavern, I walked around the town for a while. The roads in the small town were very limited. Soon I walked through Rose Square and arrived at the entrance of the church. I saw Mei and You, two children who were serious about books.

"What are you two doing? Has Father Carter gone to bed again?"

Seeing my appearance, the two children ran over excitedly and grabbed my trouser legs from left to right.

"Big brother! Is it good to help us teach? The priest went to pray and let us study by ourselves, but we couldn't understand." The two little kids looked at me pitifully, with despair of knowledge on their faces.

It is a practice to teach church schools. When many places lack educational resources, local churches will teach various knowledge, such as language, writing, grammar, etiquette, arithmetic and simple skills. This rule is still applicable in Ore Town.

But Ellie and Muqi must have never expected that the priest in the town church was a teacher who had a break in every few days, and the self-study time might be as high as 80%. I was afraid that the last two children would not read the grades, but instead read the relationship.

This teacher is really irresponsible!

I thought for a while, then took the two of them back to the church, let them sit next to me, and said, "What class are you taking today?"

The little girl Mei picked up a thick manuscript from the table.

"Or history class?"

I saw the words "Voynich Historical Manuscript" written on the cover of the book. The thick large book looks very old. The paper is yellow, but it is not damaged or worm-eaten, making it very precious.

This book again!

I turned to the last page and found that the last time Father Carter told a ghost story, the piece of paper that said "You're fooled" was gone.

It's just the priest's evil taste...

"Okay, today I will continue to teach you history classes!"

I turned on the sixth page and the book entered a new chapter from the last place.

“…the god worship movement.”

"As the ocean movement was in full swing, the relatively closed continental empire began a series of religious movements. The most famous of them was the Dhakru Order's revival movement."

"This mysterious sect that came out of the Black Forest worships an statue of the gods that have been passed down since ancient times. The original doctrines such as homomorphic revenge, blood purity, and other doctrines are covered with a more idealized cloak. In many places, they have become arbiters and executors, and have mastered most of the public power. This has also opened the beginning of worship of gods."

"There were various ancient sects that emerged like mushrooms after a rain, and soon spread throughout the continent. They had believers, land, arms, and all had the most elite and core combat sects, carrying out the will of the gods."

"In modern times, Professor Jordan Elsey once questioned the Holy Spirit Church and mentioned that there is no legal reason from the Holy Spirit, so there is no orthodox nature of dominance. The so-called church's ordination is nothing but a gorgeous butcher knife."

"But this conclusion did not take effect during these primitive religious periods. At that time, the church groups of all sizes, adhered to the concepts from different gods, but unexpectedly did not fight. They would even bypass the immediate interests and mobilize the people to explore the endless forests that are far away from the world."

"This strange peace lasted for about three centuries. It was during this period that the residents of the mainland were accustomed to the religious life of the gods and men, and deeply immersed the customs and ideas of worshipping the gods into their blood."

Then, after this chapter, many names of gods at that time were recorded.

It mentioned: "Due to the large-scale burning and burial of the Holy Spirit Church, the names, doctrines and rituals of these ancient divine churches are no longer verified. We can only rely on the customs that have been passed down from word to word of mouth in various places, but have not been cut off, and instead introduce the appearance of religion back then. This has also become a miracle for countless historians to do down-to-earth research after studying the scriptures for a long time."

Afterwards, a map briefly marked the location of the sect confirmed during the historical investigation.

The northern part was originally the Dark God Cult, the Black Forest was the Dark God Cult, the Eastern coast was the Spring God Cult, the Central Plains were the Forest Guardians Cult, and the Western Wasteland was the Wilderness of the Wilderness.

These gods whose names have been lost were finally named after a few legends and clergy with regional characteristics.

For example, in the northern polar regions where ice and snow are permanently frozen, a group of strong nomadic people have always lived. They think they are the first place in the world to see the morning light, so they worship the aurora that often swims in the sky and the earth that cuts through the dark morning light.

This is easy to understand. For them, when the area enters the extreme night state, countless old, weak, sick and disabled will be frozen to death, and the tribe will fall into crisis. Because it can break all the lights of the extreme night, they are their worship objects.

The same goes for other things according to the manuscript. The black forest is a dangerous place where wild animals appear, and darkness is a barrier for humans to escape from disasters. The east is abundant, and countless clear springs that surge out of the sky can nourish the area. The central land is flat, and there is an endless forest that has not yet been developed. The west is continuous, and the wilderness is the only existence there for a long time.

People are always used to taking what they love, fear, and expect as their beliefs, and they become gods that have emerged continuously in the ancient times of the mainland.

The manuscript is followed by a rigorous academic attitude and attached many excavated temple ruins restoration pictures, trying to reproduce the era when the gods on the continent were walking on the earth.

"Do you understand?" I asked the two out-of-school children around me.

You nodded vigorously: "I know! Big brother! But I have a question, what kind of god does Father Carter believe in here?"

Yes, the historical manuscript says that all gods are divided into generations, but isn’t the church where Father Carter is also a kind of god?

It also says that the divine sects never attack each other. Is it not a type of attack that the church kills and eliminates ancient sects? Logically, this historical manuscript will not ignore such obvious clues.

What is even more incredible is that these important information about which church originally belongs to and what is the name of the gods that the church believes in, are not mentioned at all.
