23, Chapter 23(2/2)

Ning Qiuyan: "..."

Ning Qiuyan watched Guan Ziming enter the place where he had stayed last night, and then took out a set of things. They looked like clean and unopened syringes, similar to those used by Dr. Ling.

Guan Ziming took him to the deer pen, and the deer were very affectionate when they saw Guan Ziming, and they approached him for food.

Guan Ziming found a carrot, randomly picked one for Ning Qiuyan to feed, and then quickly started collecting blood.

"When the needle is inserted from this position, there is almost no pain for them." Guan Ziming said, "Some have rough skin and thick flesh, and they don't feel it at all. Once you become proficient, it only takes a few minutes to collect blood, and there is no need to kill every time."

Ning Qiuyan watched his movements and asked, "How much do you want?"

Guan Ziming didn't know what he was thinking and said: "Not much, just two hundred milliliters."

Ning Qiuyan: "Oh." Then he asked, "How many times a day?"

Guan Ziming said: "Two or three times, it may not all belong to the deer, just change it."

After Ning Qiuyan finished feeding the carrots, she didn't know what to do and put her hands into her pockets.

After Guan Ziming took the blood, he stroked the deer for a while. For a moment, the brilliance of humanity appeared on his usually expressionless face. He was completely different from the man who was handcuffed to the island. He seemed to be adapting well here.

"You were captured." Ning Qiuyan remembered Guan Heng saying this, "So why did you run away then?"

Guan Ziming regained his cold expression and said, "I originally thought he was a devil that sucks human blood."

Ning Qiuyan thought, you can think so.

Guan Ziming was about to say something else, but the sound of a truck was heard not far away, and someone from the mansion was coming. He put down the blood bag in his hand, fastened the incubator and walked over there, probably to make an appointment.

Ning Qiuyan went to get a few more carrots to feed the deer.

Deer always seemed to be more intelligent than sheep. When they looked at her, Ning Qiuyan was always afraid of being seen as an executioner.

The weather was so cold, so he touched a handful of deer and found that they were very warm, which made him feel a little better.

Next to the deer pen is the chicken shed.

Guan Ziming and Ren entered the chicken shed while talking. Ning Qiuyan heard the clucking of the hens, glanced over there, and then became speechless for a moment.

It was a white-haired old woman wearing an apron and holding a beautiful straw basket in her hand, smiling and picking up eggs accompanied by Guan Ziming.

There was a large, horrific scar from the old woman's left cheek to her neck.
