After a month of trekking, they finally walked through the entire Khalkha Mongolia region.

It started out as a Gobi, and then it turned into a desert.

In the cold season of spring, wind and snow are raging. In winter, the desert is not easy to walk. During the day, they march hard. At night, they circle the camels, dig a fire pit on the ground in the middle, and cook things in a kerosene stove.

The thick mattress of the camel was very warm, so everyone leaned against the camel and covered with a cotton coat to fall asleep. Despite this, they were often awakened by the cold in the middle of the night. Fortunately, everyone walked safely through the most dangerous desert area.

The southern half of Outer Mongolia is home to the Gobi and deserts, and one-third of the territory to the north is savanna.

The Mongolian region happens to be a desert in the center, and the surrounding area is full of grasslands. Naturally, the Mongolians are divided into East Mongolia, South Mongolia, North Mongolia and West Mongolia due to their different residences.

After entering the original land of Tushetukhan tribe, they were warmly entertained by the local settlement animal husbandry team. Because the above had long notified the pastoral team along the way to provide the team with the best of their ability. They also stated that these people were going to fight the Rakshasa people.

These Mongolians had just lived a good life, and some Russians came to make trouble and were very angry. They heard that these people were fighting against the Russians and were warmly entertaining them.

Now the Cossack cavalry of Tsarist Russia has entered the west side of Lake Baikal and has had fierce conflicts with the local Buryats. And hundreds of cavalry often flew into the original area of Tushetu Khan's tribe to rob.

Because most of these people from Europe are criminals, Tsarist Russia has not even killed the death penalty, and has all been exiled to Siberia.

This made the pastoral teams in the border areas very alert. These Rakshasa people were very fierce and cruel. Since they came from Europe, the bad things they had done were simply too numerous to read. Many pastoral teams have suffered losses.

Before, Tsarist Russia itself was very chaotic. It was not until 1613 that Mikhail, the leader of the Romanov family, was elected as the Tsarist empress, that Tsarist Russia became stable. The history of Tsarist Russia also entered the Romanov dynasty era.

The new Tsar naturally wanted to expand when he succeeded to the throne, but Europe was full of strong enemies, and they did not have the strength. So he turned his attention to the East.

The Russian army advanced into the middle reaches of the Lena River, where the city of Yakutsk was established.

Yakutsk City is located directly north of the Outer Xing'an Mountains, and it has become a bridgehead for expansion to the east.

On the west side of Lake Baikal, they built the city of Irkutsk.

The two cities were like two horns, threatening the Yang family's Heilongjiang Governor's jurisdiction and the Buryat area.

Previously, Yang Fan handed over to Li Huaishu to defend and monitor the city of Yakutsk to prevent them from moving south. He mainly adopted a defensive posture because there were not many troops in Heilongjiang.

However, the troops in Yakutsk City are limited, with only one thousand people. They still have to continue exploring eastward and plan to go to the Kamchatka Peninsula, so the troops will continue to be dispersed. Li Huaishu's pressure is not very high.

Yang Fan's order to grind the table was to first remove the Tsarist Russian stronghold east of Lake Baikal. Then cross Lake Baikal, attack the Irkutsk Castle, and restore the Buryat territory on the west side of Lake Baikal.

Then, recruit soldiers on the spot and expand the team. Then attack the various fortresses along the Yenisei River one by one.

The small army of Mit Tables is about to attack the first target before the ice and snow is transformed. The small castle near the lake at the northern end of the east side of Lake Baikal - Balguzin Castle. Then, he waited for an opportunity to go north and gradually pulled out Kilusk, Olyokminsk, Yakutsk, and Zygansk.

After these four cities were defeated, Tsarist Russia's forces east of the Lena River were basically eliminated.

That evening, the large group of people finally arrived at the first settlement.

This is the first time I have seen someone living in half a month.

Sophia looked around curiously. There were savannas here, and the desert finally passed. Although the snow had not yet melted, there was no yellow grass on the ground. However, some sparse trees stood.

Here, hundreds of bungalows were built with stone and cement from the Gobi Desert, forming a circular town-like building complex. Here there are animal husbandry team headquarters, granaries, windmill mills, well houses, and a small inn. The remaining buildings are mainly livestock circles and warehouses, as well as places where the herdsmen of the animal husbandry team live.

They no longer live in yurts. This kind of stone house with a half-meter thick is better insulated. There are also coal mines here, and they use iron stoves to burn coal to keep warm. There are many coal mines in Mongolia.

Now, I am no longer afraid of vain. Because all livestock enter the house in winter, even if there is no fire, they will not freeze to death. Because the house blocks the cold wind, the livestock's hair is warm enough.

Don’t underestimate the change in settlement and animal husbandry. The tragedy that was formatted on the grassland every few decades was completely removed. Not only can we plant forage grass, but we can raise ten times the previous livestock, and we will no longer worry about the impact of the climate.

Here, steam engines are used to dig wells to pump water, irrigate and plant alfalfa, sweet poles, and sorghum. It is made into green feed, which is enough for livestock to eat for one winter. Even if the female livestock gives birth to a baby in winter, they can survive as long as they keep warm.

After spending more than twenty days in the wilderness, Sophia and the others finally moved into the house.

In order to welcome them, the animal husbandry team also brought them copper hotpot, beef and mutton slices launched with planes, mushrooms they planted in the cellar, and dried wild vegetables picked by women and children last fall. The mutton flask almost swallowed their tongues.

The captain of Tumen Hassan Animal Husbandry warmly welcomed them and entertained them in the largest house in the team. There were newly killed lamb and flour staple foods, which made them very happy to eat.

In the stone house, there was no whistling north wind, and I had a good sleep for the first time.

After passing the first settlement, the guides sent by the Tumen Hassan, took them one by one to the next. They would help them along the way.

They were surprised to find that there was actually dirt road here, and different animal husbandry teams were connected by dirt roads. There were also street signs written in Mongolian and Chinese characters at the intersection, and there were still kilometers above them.

They just need to walk along the road and go to the next settlement.

Five days later, they finally saw a city.

The large group of people stopped outside the south gate. The grinding table squinted his eyes and looked at this small town in the Central Plains. He knew that there was no city here. They were all nomadic tribes. The Buryats were very backward and primitive, and they did not even form a tribal alliance.
