Chapter 27 I am the Great Merciful Maitreya Bodhisattva(1/2)

The giant corpse Buddha, a thousand-meter meter-long corpse, sat cross-legged on the edge of Ci, and the Buddha energy emitted from his pores seemed to be breathing, showing a tornado.

With such a huge body, mortals are like ants in front of them.

When Ren Qing was swallowed into the belly of the giant corpse Buddha, he was still thinking about what kind of scene would be inside. It was impossible to become a world of his own, right?

He could not sense any situation other than his clone, but he did not know that it was as he had guessed.

As the power that is best at utilizing souls, Buddhism can build a unique ecological system in the blink of an eye.

In the stomach of the giant corpse Buddha.

The environment seemed extremely dark, with only a faint light covering the streets, and you could see the mortals passing through it as thin as a hair.

Mortals wear monk robes sewn in rags. Compared to the harmony and calmness of heaven, their expressions are extremely numb.

The eyes were filled with uncontrollable fear, and from time to time, they looked at the huge shadows in the distance.

At first glance, there are tens of thousands of monks in the entire town, but the atmosphere is extremely numb, and a sense of powerless despair covers the whole city.

In heaven, Buddha energy will drive away negative emotions in the hearts of the people, satisfy their desire for food, and maintain their physical needs.

But this place is not in heaven. This place is the "Buddha" that worships the Buddha spirit of the Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva. The Buddha spirit is bound to the immortal golden body. There is no Buddha spirit to relieve worries.

The Buddha is like buried deep in the ground, and it will shake from time to time, making people feel frightened.

Wumian lies numbly on the street corner.

His eyes were sunken, his gums were covered with purple-red bloodshots, and his body, which was covered with bones, could only see his chest and abdomen slight ups and downs in front of him.

Wunian didn't know why he came to the Buddha, but he understood the meaning of his existence, which was to maintain the immortality of the Buddha statue.

And just outside the Buddha's city, there are thousands of statues of Buddha standing.

Bang!

!

A loud noise came outside the city, indicating that the statue of the Buddha appeared again.

There was a voice in Wunian's heart that was repeating constantly, urging him to go to the statue of Buddha, but his body had no strength at all.

Among the Buddhas, there are tens of thousands of monks, not even a grain of food.

Under the erosion of hunger, Wu Nian's whole body was gradually withdrawn, and his eyes were quickly closed, and his vitality disappeared.

It will be shortly after his death.

The corpse twitched violently, and a gap was cracked from the chest and abdomen.

The new life Wunian took off the wreckage of his original body, but his heart was not disturbed, and he walked quickly outside the city like a walking corpse.

This is what Buddhas continue to experience.

Life cannot be born, death cannot be dead.

In order to maintain the giant corpse Buddha's death, the Buddha's energy resurrected a large number of mortal souls and completely regarded them as worker ants in the ant nest.

Workers are responsible for all the heavy work in the ant nest and have little to eat.

Wu Nian followed the crowd stiffly to the open space outside the city. Although his new body would no longer suffer from hunger, he knew that it was only temporary and he could not avoid hunger at all.

All the monks were repeatedly starving to death, rebirth, starving to death…

Wunian also tried to commit suicide in advance, but the cycle of reincarnation is indeed endless. No matter how hard it is, he is doing useless work.

The simple altar was placed on the open space outside the city, and the strong smell of blood spread, and thousands of monks had gathered around.

Wunian could also see the surface of the altar covered with a thick layer of blood and dirt, which meant that many monks died on it.

The structure of the altar is similar to a stone mill, with grooves left at the edges, and blood will flow into the wooden barrel along the grooves.

An old monk stood on the altar and recited the scriptures. The people around him were listening without any intention and were silently waiting for the end of the Dharma Assembly.

After the old monk finished speaking, he ordered a few people.

They walked to the center of the altar without hesitation, then closed their eyes and knelt on it until a young and strong monk came with a butcher knife.

"Go to the Pure Land, to the Pure Land..."

The monk said something he didn't even believe in, and raised his butcher's knife and slashed it hard.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Suddenly, more than a dozen heads with relief expressions rolled down, blood gushed out, flowing into the barrel from the groove, making it overflow quickly.

In the blink of an eye, the monk was reborn again and his body turned into dead bones.

“The Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva is above…”

Wunian recited the Buddha's name, and the despair in his heart became more and more intense.

"No thought!"

He heard the call of the old monk and couldn't help but open Hun Dun's eyes, who signaled Wu Nian to go to the "Buddhist forest" where Buddha statues were scattered.

Wu Nian nodded, picked up the wooden barrel and went to the Buddha forest with the other monks.

The fundamental reason for their Buddha is to worship Buddha statues. The Buddha's spirit will naturally not make monks think of rejection.

Wu Nian and others were not on the road fast, for fear that the blood in the wooden barrel would be shaken out, so they could only use their own blood to replenish it.

In front of the statue of Maitreya Bodhisattva, they were only the size of their toes, and they could not even look up at the appearance of the statue.

The altar behind it is still beheading repeatedly. After all, there are countless statues of Buddha in the Buddha forest, which require blood to be poured into water to maintain vitality.

Wunian sighed deeply, then came to the Buddhist forest and faced and felt the faint Buddha aura.

The statue's skin is covered with spider-web-like cracks, and golden light is faintly revealed.

If the statue is not flooded with blood, the surface cracks will become larger and larger, which may eventually lead to the collapse of the Buddha statue.

The monks took advantage of the opportunity to pour blood and couldn't help but approach the statue of Buddha.

They kept breathing the Buddha's energy through their mouths and noses, and their piety towards the Great Compassionate Maitreya Bodhisattva arose in their hearts. Hunger and disease were immediately dispelled.

The Buddha's energy can make them temporarily forget their pain and troubles, and it also relies entirely on the Buddha's forest, so that the monk's souls did not completely collapse.

No thoughts and no choice to absorb Buddha energy.

He poured the blood on the soles of the Buddha statue, and looked at the Buddha statue as if a sponge encountered water, and in the blink of an eye he swallowed the blood.

Wunian walked towards the depths of the Buddha's forest, and soon disappeared under the cover of the Buddha's energy.

The statues of Buddha are the same, and there is almost no difference.

I don’t know if it was the monks of Buddha who deceived themselves. There was an inexplicable rumor before, and many people even believed it.

It is said that among the countless Buddha statues in the Buddha forest, there is a venerable who is transformed by the Great Compassionate Maitreya Bodhisattva. Only by finding the true body can one escape from the sea of suffering and go to the Western Paradise.

Therefore, every day, monks are looking for the existence of their true bodies in the Buddha forest, but unfortunately they all return in vain.

The gods came to the depths of the Buddha's forest without thinking, muttering to himself, "The Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva", wandering aimlessly.

He lost his direction without realizing it, and ended up crossing the entire Buddha forest.

“The Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva is above…”

At this moment, Wunian suddenly noticed that the statue of Youzun Buddha was extraordinary and couldn't help but stare at the latter.

His face was filled with excitement and he stumbled to the bottom of the Buddha statue.

Although the appearance of this Buddha statue is nothing special, the chest is undulating, and the sound of the beating of the heart can be vaguely heard.

Wunian thought it was the true body of the Great Compassionate Maitreya Bodhisattva, so he quickly knelt down in front of him.

He kept reciting scriptures, his heart full of expectations for getting out of the sea of suffering, and he knocked heavily on the ground with his head.

Wunian lasted for several days, and the feeling of hunger surged in his heart again.

From the beginning to the confusion, the movements that emerged from the Buddha statue became less and less, and finally disappeared.

During this period, several monks came to water the blood and persuaded Wunian to leave the Buddha's forest, but the latter stared at the statue of the Buddha like crazy.

Just as Wu Nian was dying, a crisp sound suddenly sounded in his ears.

Kakakaka...

The crack spread on the surface of the Buddha statue, and soon even the Buddha energy spread everywhere, but it was absorbed completely by the other Buddha statues.

The movements in the Buddha forest were extremely loud, causing tens of thousands of monks to look at the source together.

Some time ago, something similar happened. At that time, the earth was shaking, and they thought that the Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva was born.

The result was that a statue of Buddha in the Buddha's forest collapsed.

Only Wunian faced the drastic changes that occurred in the Buddha statue and watched a huge man emerge from the statue.

“The great compassionate Maitreya Bodhisattva is here!

!”

He finally knew that the rumors were true. It turned out that among the countless statues of Buddha, there was indeed one of them transformed from the true body of the Great Compassion Maitreya Bodhisattva.
