81. The regular season kicks off

Trembling! Lin Feng’s body is trembling!

Not nervous but excited!

This is the consciousness from Gary Smith. He has finally stepped onto the NBA stage. He just needs to wait patiently and he will appear on the court wearing the No. 11 jersey!

He wants to prove his worth on the court, not just fly to Portland for a $120 meal allowance.

In fact, Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts didn't pay much attention to Lin Feng. He would not develop targeted tactics for a player who had problems playing.

Luke Walton has been emphasizing the issue of restricting the Blazers' two guns in the backcourt as early as in the locker room.

Needless to say, we know this. The key is that no one on the Lakers can limit Lillard.

"I need you to increase the number of outside shots and mid-range shots, and reduce singles under the basket as much as possible!"

Walton's words are still in his mind. Walton is afraid of the Blazers' inside giant Nurkic. He doesn't think McGee, who is sometimes brilliant and sometimes short-circuited, will take advantage in the paint.

Sitting at the end of the bench, Lin Feng looked at the court seriously. He was part of today's game. Walton informed him that he would come on as a substitute and that Lin Feng needed to restrain the opponent's substitute defender Stauskas.

That guy is a cold-blooded killer with a high three-point shooting percentage. He is sitting on the bench like Lin Feng and watching the field.

McGee and Nurkic jumped high, the basketball was shot into Lillard's hands, and the whole audience cheered.

Their city hero kicks off the new season and it's clear that the first attack will be made by him.

Lin Feng held his chin and watched everything. From the moment he jumped the ball, his eyes would not leave the basketball, even if there were hot cheerleaders not far away.

A step-back three-pointer made the Trail Blazers the first to score a three-pointer. This shot was very similar to the one that later beat the Thunder.

It was the Lakers' turn to attack, Ingram handed the ball to Rondo, and James stretched near the baseline.

Despite this, the Moda Center dedicated its boos to the old man.

Rondo patiently sorted out the offense. He was waiting for Ingram to position himself on the weak side and rely on his height and arm length to beat Lehman in isolation.

Jack Lehman is the weakest link on the Trail Blazers' court. He is not yet capable of starting a starting role. I believe Stotts will replace him soon.

Ingram is often compared to Durant because the two have similar bodies and similar playing styles.

Countless people believe that Ingram is a star that is about to take off, and fans have high hopes for him.

The jump shot missed when he turned over, ending the Lakers' first offense with a crisp sound.

It is estimated that most of the fans in Los Angeles are looking forward to James' first score, including Lin Feng, who are fantasizing about how the guy as strong as an ox will get the first point of the Lakers' official game?

A violent dunk? Or a mid-range shot? Or a direct three-pointer from far away?

With nine and a half minutes left in the first quarter, McCollum made a mistake with the ball in the frontcourt and threw it directly into the arms of James. Of course he would not miss such a gift.

Taking the ball and throwing away Aminu behind him, he drove straight into the basket and announced the official start of his Lakers career with a gliding one-handed dunk!

The bench began to boil. Stephenson jumped to his feet and cursed incessantly. This was his way of expressing his joy.

Wagner opened his trademark big mouth and roared. Lin Feng also stood up and applauded. He was the more reserved one.

The Lakers fans present were louder than the home fans, and they shouted v!

But soon, before the wave of excitement passed, Lillard on the other side responded with a gliding dunk! He always likes to respond calmly.

The emotions of the fans in the audience were completely aroused with two dunks. Rondo quickly sent the baseline ball to James at half court. James strode left and right and entered the penalty area again with another one-handed dunk!

The arena was set on fire again.

Lin Feng could not suppress his emotions, even the calmest person would shout loudly in this atmosphere.

Three dunks in just 40 seconds!

The Lakers led 14-7, and Stotts had to call a timeout to adjust tactics.

The Lakers bench, who were still silent during the explosive dunk just now, came forward to greet the starting players and expressed their inner joy with heavy high-fives.

"Well done, focused, passionate and we will win the game."

Walton is very satisfied with the performance of his disciples. The first quarter of the first game is usually low scoring because the players need to adapt to the rhythm of the game.

After several months of offseason, players need to regain the familiar feeling.

"The opponent will make adjustments at the third position and strengthen its defense against Ingram, so we need to move the ball to the outside more and look for three-point opportunities."

In some games, the starting players are often absent-minded when facing the coach's tactics, but the substitutes who have little chance listen carefully.

The Lakers were aroused by James' two dunks, and everyone gathered in a circle to listen to Walton's tactics.

Lin Feng stood behind Wharton and nodded as if those things had something to do with him.

Sure enough, Stotts replaced Lehman with Harkless to make up for the disadvantage at the third position.

The new Puerto Rican performed well in the past season and can be considered a qualified substitute.

After the timeout, the Trail Blazers strengthened their inside attack, using big center Nurkic as the first point of attack, similar to the Nuggets' style of play.

The two strongmen in the backcourt were lurking outside the three-point line looking for opportunities. Coach Lee was very active today. They were extremely eager to pay tribute to their recently deceased boss with victory.

The Trail Blazers once launched a 10-2 offensive wave to take the lead, and then the two sides went back and forth, each other's offense and defense.

31 to 34, the Lakers were three points behind. It didn't seem to be a big problem, but the outside three-pointers had not been opened for a long time. Only Rondo made a three-pointer.

James missed two shots and Ingram made zero.

This is a dangerous signal. The opponent has opened up the three-point shooting range, and if the Lakers continue to have no touch from the outside, then Stotts will let his players huddle under the basket.

As a result, James' impact on the basket will be greatly reduced.

Wharton saw it, but had no choice but to hold a deck of cards without three points.

Lin Feng is eager to try. He thinks he can solve the team's three-point problem. Don't ask why, he is full of confidence at this moment.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Walton replaced Pope with Josh Hart, and it won't take long for him to be replaced by the substitute lineup. McGee is old and can only play a maximum of 25 minutes in a game.

Pope was sleepwalking in the first quarter. He had no chance on the offensive end and was beaten by McCollum on the defensive end.

Hart has a three-pointer, but it's not very stable. Lin Feng knows this guy's true strength. Running without the ball and cutting are his strengths, and he has a strong sense of presence.

Sure enough, as soon as he came on the court, he converted Lao Zhan's pass into a three-pointer.

"Well done mate!"

Lin Feng stood up excitedly and cheered for him, while Hart raised his arms toward the bench.

The three-pointer is truly a magical thing.
