59, Chapter 59(2/3)
There is always a bit of loneliness hidden in the excitement during the Chinese New Year.
-Kou Chen, are you very free?
He still asked in the group.
-Who said that? I walk Shuaishuai twice a day, and I also walk my grandpa. The old man doesn’t come home for two hours after he goes out. He’s acting wild.
A group of people followed closely below, all laughing.
Huo Ran looked at the screen and laughed for a long time.
In the afternoon when I was thirty, Huoran went to my aunt's house with my parents.
Their family was the last to arrive. Other uncles, brothers, and sisters had already arrived. As soon as they opened the door, they were greeted by all kinds of loud voices, including the precious bear thing from my aunt’s house.
child's scream.
Huo Ran felt unhappy for a moment, but when he saw his grandma's smiling face in the crowd, his mood immediately improved a lot.
"Grandma, you've gained weight." He went over and touched grandma's face.
"Aren't you annoying?" Grandma said with a smile, "You call people fat when you meet them!"
"Old lady, you can't be too thin." Huo Ran said, "A little fatter is better for your health. It's just right for someone like you."
"Flattery," said grandma.
Just as Huo Ran was about to speak, his leg was hit by something so hard that it hurt him a little. He turned around and saw Bear Stuff running toward the kitchen with a hammer.
"Who the hell gave that bear thing a hammer to play with!" Huo Ran got angry and roared.
"Ouch, what's wrong?" Auntie poked her head out of the kitchen.
"Get his hammer quickly," the cousin pointed at the bear thing that ran towards the bedroom again, "It's too dangerous, where did it get it?"
"Give me the hammer!" The cousin went over and grabbed his precious son, "Where did you get it?"
Xiong Wan'er gave the hammer to his father and glared at Huo Ran again.
I should have given you a good beating with your father last time.
Huo Ran also stared at him.
Or ask your uncle Kou to shake it on the ground for you.
"You're so obedient, don't play with it anymore," my cousin said, "so that no one will call us bears."
"The bear is an objective fact and cannot be changed by a hammer." Huo Ran said.
The cousin turned to look at him.
Huo Ran ignored him, took two candies from the table, slowly peeled them open and put them in his mouth.
The chocolate is still delicious.
He looked at the table again and saw no chocolate.
At times like this, he missed Kou Chen very much...the endless supply of chocolates in his pocket.
"Huoran, you are spoiled to no end, and your temper is getting worse and worse." The aunt walked out of the kitchen and said with a frown as she passed by my father.
"It's all the same. Who doesn't spoil their children?" Mom said while eating melon seeds. "Isn't Xiao Jun'er the same as you guys? He's still young now. Let's see if he can compare with his cousin in a few years."
The aunt was stunned for a moment, and just when she was about to speak, the second uncle laughed next to her: "Huo Ran's character is more likely to be inherited from my sister-in-law."
"Boys follow their mothers," said my cousin. "Huo Ran looked so much like his mother when he was little. He looked like a doll. It was only after he entered junior high school that he started to look like his father."
The conversation among the people in the room quickly turned to whether the child resembled his mother or his father. Anyway, there would be countless small conflicts like this every time relatives in their family got together, and no one cared.
Huo Ran sat down next to her grandma and started playing with her mobile phone.
No one spoke in the group chat. Only Jiang Lei and Wei Chaoren handed out a bunch of food like a competition, with Kou Chen's drooling expression in between.
Huo Ran laughed. This expression, which was completely ignored by Jiang Lei and Wei Chaoren who were fighting over eating pictures, looked cute and aggrieved.
After looking around in Moments and group chats, Huoran became even more bored.
The sound of firecrackers outside the window is getting louder and louder, coming from near or far away. Every year they say no firecrackers are allowed, but no one sets them off less often. They light them up in the open space and run away. No one knows which house set them off.
Their family is very honest. When they started eating, the eldest uncle took out his mobile phone and then played the sound of firecrackers on the Bluetooth speaker for a few minutes. Huo Ran really admired his creativity and recorded it with his mobile phone and sent it to the group.
This time, no one even paid attention to him, and they were probably all eating.
The aunt and others also finished their work. They called for dinner, set up tables and chairs, served dishes, shouted and laughed, and after sitting down, there was a round of toasts.
The New Year's Eve dinner was actually quite lively, but Huo Ran was always a little absent-minded and would take a look at his phone from time to time.
Halfway through the meal, he couldn't hold it back. He felt bored and a little helpless, so he took out his cell phone and sent a message to Kou Chen.
-Are you eating?
A very boring message, every word reveals his boredom, it is simply more boring than boredom itself.
"Xiao Chen looks much more stable this time than before," the third uncle looked at Kou Chen and nodded, "The decision to transfer to another school is still the right one. The environment is too important."
"Absolutely," Kou Chen lay on the sofa, with Shuai Shuai lying on top of him. He pulled Shuai Shuai's face up and down, "I just received a punishment this semester."
"Why are you still being punished?" The third uncle was stunned and frowned.
"Has the previous punishment not been overturned yet?" the second brother asked.
"Yes." Kou Chen replied with a smile.
"You still have the nerve to laugh." The old uncle looked at him with a straight face.
"Hehe." Kou Chen continued.
"You..." Dad glared over.
"Is there any tile left?" Kou Xiao knocked on the table with a piece of mahjong, "Can you show some competitive spirit and respect your opponent? If you play mahjong, just play mahjong. You have to worry about so many things."
"Xiaoxiao's mouth," the old uncle sighed, "I get a headache just listening to her talk."
Kou Xiao reached back and took a box of medicine from the coffee table behind him and threw it in front of him: "This works. I brought it back when I went back to Japan. It can cure menstrual cramps and headaches."
Kou Chen hugged Shuai Shuai and laughed wildly.
"Are you angry?" The old uncle laughed.
"My dad is so cool if he doesn't play tricks!" Kou Xiao said.
"Out, out, out." Dad threw a card out.
"Bang." Kou Xiao said.
Kou Chen stood up, stretched his waist, and looked out the window. Firecrackers were not allowed in their community, and two teams of security guards kept wandering around, so it was quite quiet, but it was already foggy.
He picked up the phone and put it in his pocket and walked towards the door.
"Where to go?" Mom asked.
"Turn around." Kou Chen said.
"Are you bored?" Dad said, "Why don't you come over and play a few laps for me?"
"Forget it," Kou Chen said as he changed his shoes, "It's too young to play, it's boring."
"Ouch," Dad laughed, "listen to this tone."
Everyone in the room laughed, and Grandpa patted the table: "I told you that you are too stingy."
When he walked into the yard, Kou Chen's cell phone rang.
He took it out and took a look, suddenly.
Quickly click on the message.
-Are you eating?
-It's been a long time since I finished eating, and I've been playing mahjong.
-Oh, then you fight
Kou Chen clicked his tongue.
-What's wrong? You missed me.
-I'm so bored
Kou Chen hesitated for a moment, touched his pocket, turned around, opened the door, entered the house, and took a key from the shoe cabinet.
"What are you doing!" My mother's eyes were very sharp and she could see it at a glance, "What are you doing with the motorcycle key?"
"Play." Kou Chen said.
"It's so cold," the third aunt shouted, "I'm catching a cold. Why are you riding a motorcycle? Where are you going? Let your brother take you there!"
"No need." Kou Chen slammed the door, ran to the garage quickly, and drove the motorcycle out.
Afraid that his father and the others would chase him out, Kou Chen drove the car outside on the street, then parked on the side of the road, sent a message back to Huo Ran, and then took out his gloves, helmet, and kneepads from the car's side box.
-I'll go over and play with you
Huo Ran replied almost instantly.
To be continued...
