5, Chapter 5(2/2)

"There are no ghosts in the wild." Huo Ran said.

"...Why are there no ghosts in the wild?" Kou Chen asked.

"Nonsense, how the hell can I live if there are ghosts in the wild," Huo Ran said, "There must be no ghosts in the wild."

"Fuck," Kou Chen looked at him with admiration, "your logic is quite strong."

After the barbecue, they didn't discuss who the shadow was. The only information Kou Chen got was that Huo Ran was very good at drinking.

After a few people went out, Kou Chen felt a little shaky under his feet, but Huo Ran's eyes were still clear and awesome.

Xu Zhifan and Hu Yi didn't drink too much, but Jiang Lei couldn't help it. He hung around Xu Zhifan's neck and kept singing, and finally Xu Zhifan threw him under a tree on the roadside.

"How are you leaving?" Kou Chen asked.

"The bicycle battery car," Xu Zhifan said, "is parked at the main entrance."

"He also drives?" Kou Chen pointed to Jiang Lei on the ground.

"He came here on my electric car," Hu Yi sighed, "I'll take him to my house later. His mother will definitely beat him up when he gets home."

"Okay, I'll go first," Kou Chen slowly walked back a few steps along the road, "Huo Ran."

"What are you doing?" Huo Ran looked at him.

"I've thought about that and tell you." Kou Chen said.

Huo Ran clicked his tongue and said nothing.

"Good night," Kou Chen waved his hand with a smile, turned around and strode away, humming, "Ho ho ho ho ho..."

Several people dragged Jiang Lei back to the parking spot at the school gate. After Hu Yi got on the car, he tied Jiang Lei on his back with the luggage belt on the car.

"What did Kou Chen just say?" Xu Zhifan asked after Hu Yi drove away.

"It's about losing the bet," Huo Ran said, "It's because the loser promised the other party something."

"Oh," Xu Zhifan started the small battery, "How did you lose? You were so scared that you ran out?"

Huo Ran got on the car and pedaled forward: "I came out with him, and the dog suddenly took a step back at the end! I didn't react, so it was me who came out first."

Xu Zhifan was stunned for a moment, and then he couldn't stop laughing.

"Don't laugh," Huo Ran frowned, "How about... let's go to the ghost building tomorrow during the day. It stands to reason that if he is really a person and jumps down so high in the dark, there will be no traces left."

"Okay," Xu Zhifan nodded, "I'll go check it out tomorrow after I put my luggage in the dormitory."

The people in the dormitory remained the same as last semester. The four of them lived in a room, but they were moved from the first floor to the second floor. Kou Chen and his dormitory inexplicably became opposite doors.

Jiang Lei and Hu Yi hadn't arrived at school yet. After putting away their luggage, Huo Ran suddenly felt anxious and took Xu Zhifan with him to plan to go to the ghost building now.

He is still very brave during the day.

There are no ghosts in the wild, and there are no ghosts in the daytime.

Ghosts are all in small dark rooms with no lights on at night.

As soon as they left the house, Kou Chen walked out with Xu Chuan. Xu Chuan held some oranges in his hand and handed them two over: "Try them, they're quite sweet."

"Thank you." Huo Ran took the orange.

Just as he turned to leave, Kou Chen called him again from behind: "Huo."

Huo Ran suddenly squeezed the orange in his hand and turned his head. If Kou Chen dared to sing, he would dare to stuff the orange into his mouth.

"Of course," Kou Chen looked at him and smiled, "Let me ask you, what should you prepare if you go camping?"

"...It depends on how you show it." Huo Ran was stunned.

"It's just three days in the wild," Kou Chen said. "Now I have a tent, what else do I need to bring?"

"Bring a hearth stone." Huo Ran said.

There are so many people who think they can survive in the wild just because they have a tent that may not be waterproof, and he has no way of answering even if he wants to.

"Hearthstone?" Kou Chen didn't respond, "Can a cassette stove work?"

Xu Chuan laughed out loud next to him: "Hearthstone, brother."

"Your uncle," Kou Chen came back to his senses, "I'm damn serious."

"I want to tell you seriously. I won't be able to explain it in half an hour." Huo Ran sighed.

"Okay," Kou Chen thought for a moment, "Let's have dinner together tonight. You tell me in detail, and I'll make a list and think about it slowly."

"...Ah." Huo Ran responded in a daze. He watched Kou Chen and Xu Chuan eat oranges and walk away before he turned around and said, "Fuck? Did I promise him?"

"Yeah." Xu Zhifan peeled the orange.

"Why should I tell him? Does he know me well?" Huo Ran said.

"You can be considered someone who has seen a ghost together," Xu Zhifan said while eating, "tell him. If he wants to go out to play, just bring a sleeping bag and go out. If he dies outside, you won't tolerate it.

"

Classes haven't started yet today, but the playground is very lively. In addition to the new students in military training, there are also many boarding students who are returning to school today.

Maybe it's because the Yang energy is too strong, but the ghost building doesn't look much different from their teaching building, except that it's older and dirtier.

Huo Ran stood in front of the stone tablet and saw clearly that it did have municipal cultural relics written on it. Kou Chen was not lying.

"That ghost...man jumped down from there yesterday," Huo Ran pointed to the stairs on the second floor, "It's really high."

"Go over and have a look." Xu Zhifan walked over.

Huo Ran looked around. This building was not allowed to enter, but there were very few people in this area, and no one was looking this way.

He followed and looked at the ground next to the stairs.

There are some weeds in the cracked cracks on the cement floor, but no traces can be seen.

"Do you want to take a look at the back?" Xu Zhifan asked, "Yesterday Kou Chen said he was here at nine o'clock. That person probably didn't go up from the front stairs, right?"

"Go and have a look." Huo Ran said.

Next to the ghost building was the wall. When walking along the wall, Huo Ran didn't even think he could see anything, but as soon as he turned around, he and Xu Zhifan were stunned together.

The back of the building was covered with weeds half as tall as a person, and several people were standing in the corner.

Huo Ran quickly counted in surprise and embarrassment. Four boys and two girls were all senior high school students. One of the girls was a top student in the liberal arts class of senior high school.

Huo Ran has always felt that if the classification is too detailed, the quality will easily decline. This flower is not very popular, it is not good-looking and has a bad temper.

In this scene now, it is even more unpopular.

"Go away," Kehua said, "you don't know that students are not allowed here!"

Huo Ran still didn't have a bad temper towards girls, but Kehua's attitude made him very angry. It immediately became a difficult question whether he should talk back or whether he should obey and go away.

Xu Zhifan probably felt the same way, so the few of them remained awkwardly silent, stagnant in place.

Just when Huo Ran thought it was time to leave, there were footsteps behind him.

Huo Ran and Xu Zhifan turned their heads at the same time and saw Kou Chen holding an orange in his hand.

"What are you doing?" Kou Chen squeezed between them, "Let me take a look."

Kou Chen was also stunned when he saw a few people over there.

"It's so annoying!" Kehua frowned, "Are you all fools? I tell you to get out! You don't understand!"

Kou Chen paused for two seconds, walked forward, and put the orange back into his pocket.

Huo Ran stared at him, wondering if he wanted to help if a fight broke out soon.

But when Kou Chen reached the middle, he suddenly turned around and stopped facing the wall.

"What are you doing?" Kehua couldn't bear it.
