41, Chapter 41(1/2)

41

"The reaction is very fast!" The tall man stepped forward again and cut off Huo Ran's path when he wanted to lay up from the left.

Huo Ran continued to dribble, and the basketball passed through the left hand and the right hand constantly switching.

Pass it to me!

Kou Chen stood aside and watched. When he was about to speak, Huo Ran suddenly took action, hooking the ball from under the tall man's left arm with his right hand. The ball was thrown up from behind him and flew diagonally towards the basket from below.

"Holy shit," the tall man said with his hand back, unable to stop the ball. He turned around and looked at the ball that had fallen into the basket, "Is this the ancestral basketball basketball of your high school?"

"What's wrong?" Huo Ran smiled.

"Jiang Cheng also played this trick. Did you have a captain named Liu or something who also played this way?" the tall man said, "Is this the dog-beating stick method of your school basketball captain?"

"I don't know," Huo Ran said with a smile, "I've only watched Jiang Cheng's game videos, maybe."

When a group of people started to warm up and shoot under the basket, Kou Chen walked up to Huo Ran and asked in a low voice: "I have a question."

"Huh?" Huo Ran took off his coat.

"Did Jiang Cheng transfer to another school?" Kou Chen said.

"Yes." Huo Ran nodded.

"Then what?" Kou Chen asked.

"Liu Yi was in Zhou Haichao's class," Huo Ran said, "and later immigrated with his family."

"What about you?" Kou Chen looked at him.

"What am I?" Huo Ran also looked at him.

"Every captain leaves before graduating. What the hell...what kind of curse," Kou Chen frowned, "What about you? Do you have any plans to transfer to another school or go abroad?"

Huo Ran was stunned and couldn't stop laughing: "You are very good at summarizing. Take off your clothes quickly."

"What do you want to do?" Kou Chen crossed his arms to his chest.

"You don't play ball..." Huo Ran stopped mid-sentence and stared at his hands. After a while, he spoke again, "What are you doing? Take off your clothes! I'll let you taste the power of your uncle Huo tonight."

"If you don't taste it, you're not a human being." Kou Chen laughed so hard that he took off his coat and threw it to the stands.

"I can't kill you." Huo Ran cooperated with him and continued to act. He was in a good mood when there was a ball to play.

"Really, you haven't answered me yet. You can't go abroad unless you transfer to another school, right?" Kou Chen took off his coat, moved his arms and legs, and asked again worriedly.

"You can't go abroad if you don't change schools," Huo Ran said. "My ancestors have been here for eight generations. No matter what school I change, I don't have the money to go abroad."

"Your family's conditions are not bad. Can't you leave the country?" Kou Chen asked.

"Why should I go abroad? I failed my English in the final exam last semester," Huo Ran said. "Your family's conditions are so good, why don't you go abroad?"

"I have failed in English since junior high school," Kou Chen said.

The two of them couldn't stop laughing.

"Go away," Huo Ran finished laughing and turned around to leave. "Stop talking to me. I don't want to be infected."

Kou Chen smiled and said nothing, rubbing his face with his hands.

"What are you doing?" Huo Ran looked at him, "Come here and warm up."

"Do I have dog hair on my face?" Kou Chen frowned, "When I put on my clothes, I feel like I have hair on my face."

Huo Ran walked over and stared at his face for a while, then picked up a long hair from next to his nose: "Is this the girl's hair?"

"Which girl has such hard hair?" Kou Chen clicked his tongue, "This is my handsome hair."

"Your handsome hair is so long?" Huo Ran was a little surprised.

"You go over in the afternoon and feel it carefully. If you grab a handful, you can get out eight hundred of them." Kou Chen jumped up and ran to the basket. He caught a ball thrown by someone, turned around and hooked it with a backhand.

Suddenly, the ball went in.

"I've never seen you before, are you Huo Ran?" someone asked.

"Yes." Kou Chen nodded.

"Huo Ran has never brought any classmates here before," the man said, "I can finally cooperate with my own people today."

"My new team members are still in the basic training stage." Kou Chen said.

"Have you ever fought before?" the man asked, "You are no newbie at this skill."

"Not much," Kou Chen said.

As long as Kou Chen is not pretentious, he is an easy person to communicate with. After a few balls back and forth, the group of people will become familiar with each other.

After everyone gathered, we divided into teams and started playing.

"Give me another defender," Huo Ran said, "Lao Liu?"

"Okay." The one named Lao Liu nodded and waved to the big guy next to him, "The little center, plus Lao Luo, we're all here."

Kou Chen looked at the big man, and after ten seconds he suddenly called the man "Xiao Xiao" again. Only then did he confirm that Lao Liu was not talking about "little center", but that the big man was called Xiao Xiao... This

What is this magical nickname?

"Do you want to make some tactical arrangements?" Kou Chen asked Huo Ran.

"Play casually and cooperate depending on the situation," Huo Ran said. "There are three people on the opposite team who are on the same team. You have the opportunity to interrupt their cooperation."

"Yeah." Kou Chen nodded.

"Lao Liu took the ball and gave it to Kou Chen." Huo Ran said.

"Okay." Lao Liu nodded.

"Brother Huo Ran," Xiao Xiaoxiao said, "I'm still a rebounder, right?"

"I'll leave the rebound to you," Huo Ran said.

Kou Chen was shocked to see Xiao Xiao, who was half a head taller than him and was still 1.9 meters tall. He couldn't help but ask, "How old are you, kid?"

"Fourteen." A short novel.

"Ah!" Kou Chen coughed.

Huo Ran laughed next to him: "Shock me, brother Kou Chen."

An uncle took the ball and stood on the center line.

Xiaoxiao jumped the ball with a strong man on the opposite side who was similar to him.

Didn't touch the ball.

The strong man photographed the ball in the hands of another skinny man wearing the same clothes. These guys are from the technical school nearby, and three of them are wearing team uniforms.

The thin man got the ball and rushed to the basket quickly.

But just after taking two steps, a figure flashed past him like an arrow, stretched out his arm and snatched the ball from his hand.

Then he shouted: "Kou Chen!"

Only then did Kou Chen realize that it was Huo Ran. He turned around and ran towards the basket. Huo Ran passed the ball very high. He rushed to the three-point line and jumped up to catch the ball.

When he took off, he saw someone behind him already a step away, so he threw the ball without waiting for it to land.

The ball went in.

"Holy crap! Okay, okay." Several of the other team members gave him a thumbs up in surprise.

"Score." The uncle leaned next to the scoreboard with a cigarette in his mouth, said in a lifeless tone, and turned the page of the scoreboard.

"Awesome." Lao Liu came over and bumped Kou Chen on the shoulder.

Kou Chen was stunned for a moment and then smiled. He had never played basketball with improvised players and didn't know how to communicate. But when Lao Liu bumped into him, he found it very interesting.

Huo Ran ran past him and patted his hand: "Good shot."

The game continued. The thin man served the ball and passed it to the strong man. The strong man dribbled the ball very hard, as if he was forcibly demolishing the ball.

When Xiaoxiao went up to block it, he failed. He knocked Xiaoxiao aside and scored a layup.

After a few rounds, Kou Chen discovered that there was indeed no coordination in this style of play. They did not practice together every day, and there was no coordination. Moreover, there was no referee, so the rules were just general, and there were no obvious fouls.

No one cares about it.

Basically, everyone splits up to perform individually, and when the performance can't go on, give the ball to teammates, or when other people's performance can't go on, respond in time and start their own performance.

Kou Chen had never seen Huo Ran play. In his usual training, Huo Ran would arrange practice matches between other old players and new players, and he had never played on the court.

Today is the first time Kou Chen has seen him in competitive form.

Like a bolt of lightning.

He is equally flexible defensively and offensively, and almost no one can stop him when he dribbles the ball for a layup.

But when he has the chance, he usually passes the ball to Kou Chen.

"Vote yourself." Kou Chen said.

"You hit higher than me," Huo Ran said. "You don't know that I have a record of missing two free throws during official games, several times."
