Chapter Eleven, Bronze Coffin

I estimated the approximate position of the fish eye on the ground, carefully holding the compass and slowly moving.

Liu Ye was very curious when she saw my treacherous look. In her understanding, the compass was just indicating the direction, similar to a compass. She had never seen anyone using this thing to find a mechanism, so she followed me carefully and looked at the magnetic needle on the disk.

I walked very slowly, and I had to stay for about a minute with every step I took, observing the subtle changes of the pointer. After fifteen minutes, Daya and Liuye's curiosity disappeared bit by bit. They all sat on the ground and watched me take a step like a doll in a shadow puppet, stopping for a while.

After walking for a while, because my arms were kept level and my spirits were highly concentrated, I saw sweat beads of my nose and temples after a while, but the magnetic needle of the compass was steady and there was no strange phenomenon. The more time dragged on, the less I felt in my heart. Could it be that I was wrong?

While I was thinking about it, I suddenly saw the head of the pointer on the compass floating up, moving left and right, not returning to the meridian, which was the "reverse needle" of the "Eight Difficulties". Seeing this, I was extremely surprised and quickly called Daya and Liuye over, smiled proudly at them, and told them that there must be something under my feet.

Big teeth squatted down and knocked my feet with a flashlight. It was like the ordinary ground, and there was nothing unusual. I raised my head and blinked at me a few times: "Let's have two kinds of smart people, one is high IQ and conceit; the other is low IQ and confidence. I think you are too confident, right?"

Looking at the big teeth squatting under my feet and speaking to me, I kicked him a thump, then passed the shovel and started digging.

Big teeth rubbed my butt and got up. I didn't know what I was muttering to Liu Ye. As soon as I saw my eyes, I immediately stopped talking.

I was too lazy to waste my energy with him, and used all my strength on the shovel. As soon as I dug it, I could reach thirty centimeters deep, I heard a "clang" sound, and the head of the shovel hit a hard object.

The movement was very loud and buzzing in this closed semicircular cave.

Daya and Liuye were also shocked, and instantly realized that I had dug something, so they ran over.

I carefully explored the four outsides with a shovel and found that the stone slab below was less than half a meter square, so I carefully shoveled off the soil above, and finally revealed a square stone slab.

I looked back at Daya, pointed to the stone slab, and didn't say anything.

You have to admire Daya, the man who is so sucked, and he grinned at me, and then said to Liu Ye: "If you want to say Lai Liang's ability, you will be too big. This technique of "down-the-shelf searching" is not something that ordinary people can do. If you have time, you can study with Lai Liang and study further." After that, he even gave me a thumbs up, which made Liu Ye next to me laugh and cry.

Liu Ye walked closer and looked at it, and then asked me if there would be any danger here or what mechanism was there?

I looked at the stone slab, looked at Liu Ye and Daya: "I guess not. If the agency that is not good for us, it will not be burying the ground. Whether such an agency deals with people or mice is probably not dangerous. If I guess well, it should be related to the big copper coffin."

As soon as I finished speaking, I let the big teeth and willow leaves beside me, then I put the shovel under the stone slab, and with both arms, I slowly raised the stone slab.

A square hole was exposed below, and there were actually a bundle of chains inside, all the same as the thumb, much thinner than the one hanging on the coffin.

I carefully stretched out the chain, and then I realized that it was a very long whole, with the root fixed at the bottom of the hole. I tried to pull it with my hands, and it felt very strong.

Daya looked at it for a long time without saying a word, then asked me carefully: "Let's go, can this be pulled, and then the coffin can be hung up there, which is similar to the principle of pulleys?"

I actually felt that this was the same, so I threw one end of the chain to Daya. Daya and I both held the chain, pulled it in my hand, pulled it back with a buckle, and then pulled it back with force.

Unexpectedly, without much effort, the chain was pulled, and a "crunch" and "bang" sound came.

Big Ya and I fell backwards, started pulling with all our strength, and fell backwards little by little. Sure enough, we saw that the thick chain hanging with the big copper coffin actually started to move.

Seeing this, we were all very excited, and Liu Ye also came over to help.

I don’t know what mechanism people used in the past. I feel that the principle of the pulley set should be similar. Although it is not as laborious as I imagined after I really pull it, it is indeed not very easy.

After pulling for a while, we all saw sweat on our foreheads, and the large copper coffin in the water gradually surfaced, and even more than half of it was exposed. When we pulled here, no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't pull it. It was probably because the copper coffin was much more laborious after it came out of the water than when it was pulled up in the water. Judging from the strength of the three of us, we probably couldn't pull out the big copper coffin.

Fortunately, it is at least on the water surface, which is much more convenient than underwater.

I looked around and wrapped the chains that were pulled tightly on a rock near the cave wall. I was afraid that they would not be solid, so I wrapped the extra chains together with several protruding rocks. I tried to slowly let go of my hands, and the chains were stretched straight at once. Fortunately, they succeeded and liberated the few of us.

I got closer and illuminated it with a flashlight. The bronze coffin was more than three meters away from the shore. Under the strong light of the three flashlights, the patterns on it could be seen clearly.

The head of the coffin is trapezoidal, and the patterns on it are divided into three parts by an inverted triangle. There is a large pull ring in the center, which should be just for decoration, and it seems that it cannot move at all. The pull ring is carved with a fierce beast face, and it is impossible to recognize what kind of beast is drawn. The other decorative base decorations are mostly landscape cloud patterns, lotus and vines, and are all cast together with the coffin, with exquisite craftsmanship.

The front of the large copper coffin is full of inscriptions. Although the words are engraved, they are a bit far away and cannot be clearly seen. Generally, the words on the coffin are engraved with some life records about the tomb owner, which is crucial to verify the identity of the tomb owner.

Daya and I looked at Liuye unconsciously. Seeing that Daya and I were staring at her, Liuye looked at the big copper coffin, pouted, sighed, and walked to the water reluctantly. I guess I was still worried about the strange fish in the water. However, Daya and I couldn't use such a thing, and it would probably be useless if we went down. The commonly used Chinese characters are okay, and I can't recognize many rare characters, but people in the past seemed to use rare characters, at least I always thought so.

Anyway, there was no need to dive, so Daya and I accompanied Liuye to the water together, swam to the front of the coffin, and helped Liuye shine the text on it with a flashlight. Liuye began to read it seriously. When Liuye saw it, he read it to us. After reading it intermittently, we were a little confused.

The most expensive and interesting thing about the inscription on the coffin is that it clearly states that the owner of the tomb is named Ji, named Yun Yao, and was taught by Liao Gong and Liao Zhaobao. Then there are some things that have been involved in the life of managing water and building dikes, building cities and towers.

Ji Yunyao, such a strange name, heard of this name as a Han Chinese in the Central Plains, not like Manchu. However, I think the name Liao Zhaobao is somewhat familiar, but I can't remember where I heard it.

We went ashore, twisted the water on our bodies again, and moved for a while before we felt so cold.

Liu Ye kept jogging on the spot. As he ran, he suddenly stopped, looked at me, and then widened his eyes and said, "I remember who Liao Zhaobao is. Liao Zhaobao is Liao Junqing, whose courtesy name is Zhaobao and his pseudonym Yufeng. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, he was named the Lingtai Doctor of the Imperial Heaven Supervision Bureau because of his contribution to preside over the construction of the Changling of the Ming Tombs. It is said that the survey of the Great Imperial City of the Forbidden City in Beijing was also the work of Liao Junqing."

As soon as I heard Liu Ye talk about Liao Junqing's name, I remembered that this was a Feng Shui master in the Ming Dynasty and was well-known.

I have read the records of this person in ancient books, which can be said to be magical.

Once, Emperor Chengzu of Ming Dynasty summoned many Feng Shui masters and asked how the acupuncture project of the Tianshou Mountain Imperial Mausoleum was progressing? All the ministers all reported to the emperor, saying that Liao Junqing teased the court, and he had dug up the ground veins and there were more springs in the Jinjing. The site selection of such an imperial tomb is a big deal. If the Houjinjing is selected, the land will generally be abandoned and cannot be used anymore. It is considered a bad acupuncture point. If such a mistake occurs, it will definitely lose its head.

So Ming Chengzu asked Liao Junqing what was going on? Liao Junqing said: "This is the gathering of real dragons. The cave method is unbiased. As long as the emperor comes to it, the spring water will stop immediately. However, when Ming Chengzu arrived at the acupuncture point, he saw that the spring water was still spraying. Long Yan was furious and asked Liao Junqing why he teased him.

Liao Junqing calmly replied to Ming Chengzu that he had not drunk the mountain yet. As long as he shouted a few times and put the compass down the ground, the spring water would stop immediately.

After saying that, he set up his pose and started shouting at the mountain. It was strange that before Liao Junqing finished calling, the spring water in the Jinjing stopped indeed.

Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty was very happy and kept praising him, saying that Liao Junqing was not an ordinary person, but was truly an immortal spirit. He called the mountain and the mountain to respond and the water to stop. He was a strange person in the Ming Dynasty.

Unexpectedly, the owner of the bronze coffin that appeared here was actually Liao Junqing's disciple. It is not surprising that his disciples can find such a rare Feng Shui noble acupoint in the world.

Just as the three of us were discussing Liao Junqing, suddenly, Daya slapped at us, signaling us not to speak.

The scene immediately became quiet, terrible.

I was about to ask Daya what the mystery was doing, but suddenly I heard the cry of a child.

“Wow…wow…”

I cried very miserably, like a child who was wronged, sobbing endlessly. The sound seemed to be in my throat, which made people feel heartbroken and my heart was jammed.

We were so scared that we were a little creepy. We carefully distinguished the source of the sound, and finally focused our attention on the large copper coffin.
