Chapter 14 Ruins of Trade Road

Arriving outside the dungeon of [Business Road Ruins], an outpost was established here relying on the dungeon.

Surrounded by simple wooden structures, the buildings are well-proportioned.

There were only sporadic ordinary people on the streets, and those coming and going were basically explorers wearing armor and holding weapons.

There is a large store at the entrance of the outpost, which is full of basic swords and armors, wound medicine and bandages, marching rations and other supplies for newcomers.

Standing at the door, you can immediately see the stone platform at the entrance to the mist not far away. It is the same stone platform that Kane stepped on when he returned to the Wolf's Den.

According to reports, the function of this stone platform is to stabilize the entrance to the mist, so that the entrance does not shift around and cause unnecessary accidents.

This small outpost almost meets the most basic needs of explorers.

Arriving at the door of the only tavern in the outpost, I looked at the name of the tavern, 'Three Little Pigs'.

I have to say, this is really a nostalgic name.

Pushing the door and entering, you will be greeted by the unique atmosphere of the pub.

Loud quarrels, men's laughter, women's curses, and some off-key singing.

After finding a quiet corner to sit down, an energetic girl with freckles in an apron came over.

She placed a menu with the tavern dishes and drinks in front of Kane and asked

"What do you want to eat, sir? Today's dishes are all on this list."

Kane ordered a piece of bread and steak, and ordered a glass of fruit wine, handed the menu back to her and said

“I also need a nice single room”

"No problem sir, please wait a moment"

After saying that, he turned around and walked towards the bar.

She came back after a while, put the food Kane ordered on the table, and then put a key in Kane's hand.

"This is the key to the room upstairs. Sir, you can go up and rest at any time. If you need anything else, you can call me loudly."

Kane took the key and said thank you.

Savor your dinner carefully and listen to what people around you are talking about.

"Have you heard about this outpost for five years?" asked a young explorer.

"It's almost there, it should be 4 months away." The person who answered the question was an explorer who looked like he didn't look like a novice based on his equipment.

"The business is about to break up." This was the voice coming from the four explorers at the next table.

"For a newcomer-level copper dungeon, it can be considered strong if it can last for so long."

"It's such a pity that there hasn't been a newbie level dungeon in several years."

"If there are no newcomer-level dungeons in the past few years, those newcomers will be in misery."

Brave Game Don’t deceive me

Taverns are indeed a good place to get free information.

After finishing his meal, Kane took the key to the bar, paid the boss 1 gold, and then went to his room on the second floor.

After putting away the equipment, I took a dip in the bathtub that came with the room. The bathtub was thoughtfully filled with hot water.

After washing, I lay on the bed and thought about the information about the dungeon here.

A night of silence

——————————

early morning

Kane arrives at the entrance to the fog

I registered my basic information at the sentry next to me.

This information is not for statistical purposes, it is mainly for letting your relatives know about your death when necessary.

Being an explorer has never been a peaceful profession, and the annual mortality rate has always been high.

Stand on the stone platform

As the familiar feeling of weightlessness comes over

I saw the familiar starry sky again, but the position of the starry sky had changed. It should be that the star under my feet now was in a different position than before.

Through the dungeon's mist door

It was night time in the dungeon, and it was difficult to see the day and night changes in the sky in the copper-colored dungeon.

The first glimpse of the dungeon gives people a very ordinary feeling, with only a winding road leading into the distance.

There are some sparse trees on both sides, and the moon and stars in the sky are no different from those outside.

Kane was somewhat disappointed, mainly because the first sight of the first dungeon was so shocking that Kane still remembers it.

Why is there a dungeon that cannot be re-entered once it is cleared? What should I guard against? Is it against brushes? I should also guard against it myself.

Shake your head and focus on the dungeon. Don't be careless even in a simple dungeon.

A lion fights a rabbit with all his strength

"Made of armor, knight armor"

Spend magic power to create a large lump of transparent plasticine, shape it into large and small pieces of armor, and then convert the material into steel.

Then he made these armor pieces form a pair of armor and suspended it on his body. He even made a leopard head on the shoulder armor, although only he could see it.

You think hunters wear leather armor, but actually hunters wear cloth armor and heavy armor.

After making sure that his defense was good, Kane began to walk slowly towards the end of the path, because the boss at the end of the level was at the end of the path.

After all, this is a newbie-level dungeon, and it is copper-colored.

The green-labeled copper dungeon is the best choice for the first time. This dungeon has been around for nearly 5 years.

I don’t know how many people have passed the level, but the information inside has basically been stripped clean like underpants.

Moreover, this dungeon is not complicated. The fastest way to clear it is to just keep going forward on the path at your feet.

The monsters in the dungeon will come out in groups at different times, so there is no need to look for them.

Kane walked on the path while waving the spear in his hand.

He hasn't used this weapon properly yet. He has been secretly practicing some moves in the past few days.

So I resolutely decided to temporarily give up the role of archer in this dungeon and change my profession to become a spearman.

As expected, Kane didn't walk long before he felt some malicious eyes around him, which was so obvious that he didn't even need to open his eagle eyes to spot it.

Kane stopped where he was, taking a defensive stance.

Seeing Kane standing still, the wild monsters seemed to know that Kane had discovered them, and stopped hiding.

The surrounding bushes rustled, and dozens of black shadows leaped into the air, reflecting the moonlight.

When we landed, we saw a group of wild wolves in the moonlight. They were surrounding Kane, looking for opportunities, and the driver pounced.

In this way, under the witness of the moonlight, man and wolf faced each other.

The wolves took the lead in launching an attack. One wild wolf took the lead and attacked Kane with its big mouth open.

Following its lead, the other wild wolves attacked Kane from all directions.

Even so, Kane did not panic. He shot out his spear like a dragon and pierced into the mouth of the forerunner wolf like lightning.

Then the gun head was inserted into the wolf corpse and swept around, sweeping away all the wild wolves that jumped in the air.

The sweeping force smashed the wolf corpse into the surrounding wolves who were still looking for opportunities.

Then he held the gun in one hand, ducked away from a wolf that was attacking from behind, and grabbed it in the air with his free hand.

Using his strength, he smashed it into the pack of wolves that had just been swept away, and now the entire pack was driven back.

Kane did not give them a chance to breathe. He pursued the victory and plunged into the wolves with his spear. The wolves that had just been repulsed had no time to organize the next offensive.

Kane is the only one dancing now, and the wolves can only cheer for this dance with their blood and lives.

And the audience can only see the bright moon sitting in the dark night sky and its servants under the skirt with twinkling stars.

With the cheers of the wolves falling

The waving gun light sheds the warm blood on itself
