Chapter 0014 Isn't it just eating some of your frogs! Also hit me with a small report?

Colson and Melinda were standing outside the gate of Juilliard Academy with frowns. Colson was dressed in a formal suit. Melinda rarely changed into tight combat suits she was used to and changed into a light short-sleeved long skirt. Although the skirt and high heels made her feel very twisted and uncomfortable.
If possible, Melinda would rather fight with a group of terrorists than to dress like this to come to school! Today they were notified by the school teacher, asking the two to come to Teacher Mayn's office before school that afternoon. When something happened, the other party didn't say much on the phone.
"Melinda, what do you think will be? Could it be that Annie burned some troublesome little kid?" Standing at the school gate, Colson took off the sunglasses on his eyes and made a rare joke with Melinda next to him.
"Tsk! OK, Phil! If that's the case, the one who looks for us will not be a teacher! At least it will be a policeman?" Melinda felt that at most, Anne was just naughty.
"That's right! Then let's go in and see what the teacher said. I bet a hundred dollars, betting that Anne beats up some poor child, will she come?" After taking her sunglasses back into her top pocket, Colson smiled while walking in.
"..." Melinda shook her head and looked at Colson angrily. It seemed that Phil was really idle recently, so she wouldn't bet on these boring things with him!
Mayn Linsky is a professor in the school. Generally speaking, American primary school teachers are all versatile. Often one teacher is responsible for teaching several courses, and Mayn is such a person. She is mainly responsible for teaching three courses in mathematics, English (ELA) and science. Not only that, she is also the tutor of several students.
Public full-time primary and secondary schools usually have no class teachers, and there is no home visit for class teachers, and home visits for teachers are absolutely not allowed. However, private schools are not listed here.
In private schools, there is usually a tutor for every few students. The tutor's responsibilities are a bit like that of a domestic class teacher, who is mainly responsible for guiding several students and writes a few performance reports for their parents every year.
Of course, when some students dare to do something incredible, parents will be invited to talk. Teachers usually do not criticize students directly, nor do they look for reasons from students. They usually talk to students' parents first, trying to find the key to the problem from parents first.
It was under this situation that Colson and Melinda walked into Teacher Mayn's office in an extremely embarrassing manner!
As two senior agents of SHIELD, they are now invited to the school in the form of "inviting parents". This experience makes Colson and Melinda, who are currently single, feel a little curious while being embarrassed.
"Hello, I'm very happy to meet two of you, please sit down!"
Teacher Mayn stared at the two middle-aged men and women walking into the office: Colson and Melinda, and then flipped through the student information manual in his hand.
"Then are Anne's parents? Phil Colson? Melinda May?" After seeing the name on the guardian's information bar, Teacher Mayn was a little confused. It seemed that Anne's last name had nothing to do with them. This question made her feel strange.
"Uh, of course not! We are just Anne's uncle and aunt, her parents... Well, because we are engaged in some confidentiality work in government departments, we have to temporarily act as temporary guardians." Colson was confused for a while, and soon came up with a more reliable statement.
"Is there something wrong with Annie's study?"
Melinda found herself uncomfortable with the role she was playing now, which made her feel uncomfortable. She was more suitable to be a combat field agent than to pretend to be Anne's parents like this! This feeling of inconvenience made her eager to end it soon, so she quickly asked from the side.
"No! There is no problem with Annie's learning situation! In fact, every subject she performed well! She even exceeded the average of other students of her age in some courses." Mayn remembered the music teacher who threatened to give Annie A+ grades just after taking the first music class.
Also... Anne was just a very ordinary math problem when she was in her math class. After Anne raised her hand and said she could do it, Mayn asked her to go to the blackboard to answer.
As a result... Annie wrote a lot of mathematical formulas on the blackboard in front of her and the whole class. What Maine couldn't accept the most was that she, a math teacher, couldn't understand the other answers except the final answer!
Afterwards, she took a photo and asked her math tutor who had a doctorate degree in college, but the conclusion was that the answer was correct, but the process was a little too complicated, and some places even involved very advanced mathematical knowledge. Of course, some formulas seemed very strange! Then the tutor thought that these solutions were written by Mayn, and specially praised her and encouraged her to continue to develop on the road of mathematics.
Mayn didn't dare to explain the misunderstanding of the mentor at that time, so he could only stammer for a while and then hung up the phone. Could it be that she was not answering the question, but an eight-year-old girl in her class? This is a little scary, right?
"Not a learning person? What's wrong with Annie?"
Colson and Melinda were a little puzzled. Since it was not for the reason of learning, was it because Anne burned some unlucky guy? If so, this teacher Mayn would definitely not be so calm now, right? Then he must have beaten Anne and a boy, Xi, hoping not to be seriously injured, right? Besides, isn’t it normal for children to have a fight?
Colson still remembers that when he was a child, he used broken bricks to put a classmate in the head and it was a bit cruel! Fortunately, the other party just had a small bag on his head! Otherwise, Colson would have to spend his childhood in the teenager discipline camp.
"It was like this, yesterday... during the experiment class, you might not be able to imagine what I saw at that time!"
Mayn calmed down and remembered the scene in the morning: This was a very normal experimental class to dissect the frogs! Mayn had to go back to the office to get some necessary courseware, which might take a long time. So, she planned to let the students observe the living frogs placed in the bucket first...
But what she never expected was that when she returned to the laboratory, what did she see? She actually... saw a group of students eating roasted frogs around a small fire! God! Her students actually made a small campfire in her laboratory, and then roasted the frogs she was preparing to take the dissection class.
And the culprit is undoubtedly Anne!
It was she who encouraged her classmates and took the lead in roasting the frogs! The bonfire was made of two broken wooden chairs! But what Mayn couldn't understand was: Where did Anne get a match or lighter from to ignite it?
Mayn was so scared that he almost had a heart attack! Although the school doctor later confirmed that there was no problem with the students' health, and the frog legs were also edible and were sure that they had been roasted...
After this incident, the first thing that happened to the Juilliard Academy’s internal facilities department was to add monitoring in this classroom and install fire protection facilities such as automatic sprinklers. Then, teachers were ordered to leave alone and leave students in the laboratory during the experimental class!
"We are sorry for this! We will pay the bills for the losses Annie causes to the school in time!" Colson and Melinda looked at each other and secretly wiped away their sweat. Although they apologized on the surface, they felt relieved in their hearts. Everything was fine! They were just roasting a few frogs, not roasting people!
......
