Domestic manufacturers are definitely less affected by Xinghai Group than international manufacturers. Customers should buy low-end equipment anyway. They are not willing to spend tens of thousands more yuan anyway, and they feel that the conditions are basically met.

Some companies have a demand for dozens of secondary-guaranteed welding machines. If they replace all the secondary-guaranteed welding machines of Xinghai Group, they will have to invest nearly one million yuan at once, but they are reluctant to spend this extra money.

When he was free, Mu Yang came to the headquarters base to observe the progress of the IGBT arc welding inverter and tungsten arc welding equipment projects.

At present, the company is stepping up the processing and manufacturing of production line equipment. Some of the equipment is customized and is also stepping up its manufacturing. Most of them have not yet been brought to Xinghai Group.

The aluminum alloy factory is intensifying its construction. After the Chinese New Year, Mu Yang went there for an inspection and found that there were no major problems with the progress.

Today, Xinghai Group has three emergency projects in progress: IGBT arc welding inverter, aluminum alloy factory (aluminum alloy 6009, 6010, 7090), and tungsten argon arc welding equipment.

Other project teams, such as the titanium alloy project team, in addition to producing TC4 and TA7, have independently developed other types of titanium alloy materials, which do not require Muyang to cheat. Now Muyang no longer has to worry about this project.

Today, the headquarters base has begun to be expanded and opened.

The headquarters base has a total of 10 steel structure workshops, 5 frame structure workshops, and 10 experimental buildings.

Since there are many factories and laboratory buildings, in order to unify and standardize the naming of buildings and facilitate employees' identification, the following regulations are followed:

According to the location of the headquarters base platform, the southwest corner is the origin of the coordinate system, the base gate line is the X-axis, and the workshops are arranged in 5 columns and 3 rows. For example, X1Y1 is workshop No. 1, X2Y1 is workshop No. 2... X5Y1 is workshop No. 5;

On the next line, X1Y2 is workshop No. 6, and so on.

The steel structure workshops are named No. 1 and No. 10, or Steel 1 to Steel 10. They cover a minimum area of ​​10,000 square meters and only have one floor.

Currently, Workshop 1 is a titanium alloy workshop and has been put into use; Workshop 2 is an aluminum alloy equipment installation and debugging workshop. The equipment has been installed and is still being debugged. It is progressing smoothly and is expected to be officially put into mass production in April.

The frame structure factory buildings (reinforced concrete structures) are not yet in use. Most of them cover an area of ​​about 10,000 square meters and are 8 stories high. Most of the single floors are two stories high, about 8 meters. The building area of ​​a single building is about 45,000-60,000 square meters.

The experimental building is not much different from the experimental building in the university, except that the appearance is more sci-fi. The number of floors ranges from five or six to more than ten floors. To more than 10,000 square meters, the total construction area of ​​the ten experimental buildings is approximately 300,000 square meters.

The experimental buildings are named from Real 1 to Real 10. Currently, Real 1 has been put into use as a supercomputing experimental building.

Of course, the space of a laboratory building is so large that the supercomputer only takes up part of it.

Starting from the end of February, the company began to relocate most of the machining equipment from the current group company.

The headquarters base is positioned as an experimental base and will only deploy some non-polluting production and production with high confidentiality requirements.

Most of what is left at the current headquarters is pollution matters, such as welding matters (including cladding, secondary welding, tungsten arc welding, laser welding and other welding matters), grinding, and processes before and after welding such as heat treatment.

Xinghai Group's sandblasting/shot blasting rust removal and painting business has been outsourced, and most of the outsourced factories are in suburbs or neighboring cities.

Steel plates or sheet metal parts such as the sheet metal shell of the secondary welding machine, the shell of the handheld laser welding host, etc., as long as they are steel products, they need to be sandblasted/shot blasted and then painted, otherwise they will easily rust.

Although spray painting is not as polluting as cement factories and power plants, two years later, H City still strictly controls machinery manufacturers and does not allow spray painting operations in the urban area.

For example, the original company of Xinghai Group was small. Once the paint was sprayed, the entire workshop smelled of paint and the air was filled with formaldehyde. Employees who worked and lived here would definitely be polluted.

Relocating equipment is a troublesome task. It does not mean that you can dismantle the equipment and install it casually in the new workshop.

First of all, we need to lay out the workshop, and the general direction is to follow the principles of logistics and the principles of man-machine, material, law and environment.

The detailed rules follow the 5S principle, such as warning lines, defective product area lines, channel lines, positioning lines, etc.

Generally speaking, it is the principle layout of standardizing safety management, rationalizing production processes, maximizing space utilization, and simplifying visual management.

The company has production line layout experts who are responsible for this area. They have already drawn CAD drawings, which indicate where the equipment should be placed, in what direction, and whether a foundation should be laid.

Machine tools with high precision requirements must dig new holes and lay cement foundations, which must be leveled before the equipment can be installed. This does not mean that you can just drill holes, tighten the nuts and bolts, and fix the equipment and that's it.

The melting temperature of tungsten is very high, reaching 3390℃-3430℃, while that of steel is only a thousand or several hundred degrees Celsius.

Due to the high melting characteristics of tungsten, tungsten element is added to many alloy materials to increase high temperature resistance.

Tungsten argon arc welding is abbreviated as TIG, also called argon arc welding. Xinghai Group’s hot wire TIG automatic surfacing welding is also tungsten argon arc welding, but it is automated and uses automatic wire feeding.

The market capacity of TIG is not as large as that of secondary welding machines. The equipment is simpler and can also be used as electrode manual welding equipment.

For example, in the videos of later generations, those videos of fish scale welding mostly use TIG welding, and they also weld stainless steel to achieve beautiful results.

In the middle of the hall of Xinghai Group, there is an eagle one or two meters high, which was made by Mu Yang.

Of course, with such a large volume, it is impossible to weld everything, which would be very tiring.

He asked someone to weld a frame first, then overlay and polish it, and finally he did the overlay welding.

Depending on the current size, welding speed, interlayer temperature, gas purity, etc., the welded color will be different. Silver, yellow, blue, gray and black means that the current is too large.

The two walked around and found that the tungsten argon arc welding project was progressing relatively quickly. After all, many of the production equipment and materials were similar to the secondary welding machines.
