Chapter Forty-One: She Xinyu's Life Experience

She Xinyu knelt down and opened her arms. The kitten jumped into her arms obediently, saying "meow meow meow~" as if to welcome her.

She Xinyu smiled and gently stroked the cat's little head, and the cat licked her arm obediently.

She Xinyu held the cat in her arms and pushed open the dilapidated door. She found a room full of cats and dogs.

"This is my home. When I was a child, I lived with my grandparents and younger brother. When I was seven years old, my grandfather died and my younger brother was adopted and taken away. Only my grandmother and I were left to depend on each other. After my grandmother died when I was fourteen, I ran away here.

There are a lot of stray pets coming.”

She Xinyu explained everything in just two simple sentences, but these two short sentences contained too much bitterness and pain.

Gu Tangxin couldn't imagine how she got here at such a young age.

Gu Tangxin walked in and took She Xinyu's hand, "I will be with you in the future."

She made her promise.

This is friendship.

Gu Tangxin picked up a puppy on the ground and walked to Mo Jiran, "Look, how cute it is."

The brown long-haired doghouse remained motionless in Gu Tangxin's arms. From time to time, he would stick out his little tongue and lick Gu Tangxin's hand, and his little head would lean against her arms and nuzzle as if coquettishly.

"I have been feeding these little animals here for the past two days." Gu Tangxin looked back at the dilapidated church.

There is no roof anymore, so the little animals can only gather in the corner to take shelter from the rain and wind.

"Ji Ran, can we take these traffic pets home and raise them?" Gu Tangxin blinked her big eyes, acting innocently.

Gu Tangxin and She Xinyu took care of these little animals in the church for a long time, and they didn't leave until dark.

"Xinyu, the black cat that died just now..." Gu Tangxin didn't quite understand why the black kitten hit the car on its own. She could see clearly that it was the cat that jumped up and hit it to death.
