Chapter 31 I am the Monkey King Monkey King
Xiniu Hezhou, Dongtu.
In a temple, a young monk came out.
He smiled and turned around and said, "Master, the Bodhisattva has given me a dream, I want to go to the West to obtain the scriptures."
The old monk in the temple said, "Go, it's just that the mountains are high and the road is far away. Can you do it?"
The young monk said, "The Bodhisattva said that as long as the mind is firm, the heart will be sincere."
The old monk said, "You have a Buddhist connection. Since you want to go, then go."
The young monk went down the mountain and then walked all the way to the west.
The journey west is long and difficult and dangerous.
But the young monks turned bad luck into good fortune along the way. A woodcutter followed him all the way and was willing to protect him from the West to seek scriptures.
This day.
When passing a mountain in front, the woodcutter said, "My little master, this mountain is called Wuzhishan. There is an old monster monkey under the mountain, which specializes in eating passers-by. Let's take a detour."
The monk said: "You have to take a hundred miles of roads to detour, delay your itinerary, just go like this."
The woodcutter frowned and had a headache, but he still followed the monk to pass by Wuzhishan.
At the foot of Wuzhi Mountain, there was a monster monkey eating iron balls and drinking copper water.
Ordinary people are already dead if they do this.
But he was happy with this, just a fierce look that made no one pass by the Wuzhi Mountain within a radius of a hundred miles.
The monk and the woodcutter passed by today.
The demon monkey also noticed these two people, smiled hideously, and said, "You two, let me release my old grandson and I will give you a fortune."
The woodcutter was always alert to the demon monkey, and pulled the monk, not letting him get close.
The monk said, "I am merciful to you, how should I let you out?"
The woodcutter said: "My little master, this monster is hard to change in nature. She likes to eat people. If you let him out, you will not be able to go to the West to obtain the scriptures."
The demon monkey said, "I, Lao Sun, eat bananas, I won't eat you."
The monk said, "My Buddha is merciful. This monster is also life. I can't bear to see him so pitiful."
The woodcutter was anxious when he saw the monk climbing a mountain to unveil the Buddhist verse and let him go.
"I'm in trouble now. Sun Wukong remains naughty. Now he is released, he doesn't accept the discipline."
His eyes rolled and he said, "My little master, this monster was suppressed here by the Buddha's own hands. The Buddha did it. It must be true. If you release it, will it be contrary to the Buddha?"
The monk was stunned when he heard this.
He looked at the demon monkey, the famous Sun Wukong, and asked in confusion: "Are you really suppressed by the Buddha?"
Sun Wukong said, "Old Tathagata? So what? Let me go, I have forgiven him."
But the monk went down the mountain and said without looking back: "Since it was done by the Buddha, then you must have made unforgivable mistakes, so you can continue to understand."
When Sun Wukong saw this, he was furious and roared: "The hairless stinky monk, how dare you fool me, Lao Sun?"
"Let me out, your grandpa Sun will definitely beat you to death, bald man."
The woodcutter followed, and when he passed by Sun Wukong, he turned around and grinned, saying, "Sage, it seems that you have deep resentment towards Buddhism. Listen to the little master, let's understand it well."
Sun Wukong was stunned for a moment, looked at the woodcutter walking away, and shouted: "Who are you? How do you recognize me, Lao Sun?"
His eyes were filled with golden light, and his fiery eyes burst out. He wanted to see the identity of the woodcutter clearly, but suddenly a golden light shone over, making him unable to see it in detail.
When I looked again, the person had already walked away.
Sun Wukong frowned, grabbed the ground with his head, and roared: "My old Sun did nothing wrong, what did I realize?"
About two or three years have passed.
The monk and the woodcutter came to a mountain, which was extremely vast and high, densely packed with trees.
Along the way, the woodcutter killed demons and eliminated demons, and the monk was in danger.
But the monk also had experience and felt scared when he saw this mountain.
He asked, "Disciple, do you think there are monsters on this mountain?"
The woodcutter looked at the mountain in front of him with a complicated expression and said, "This mountain is called Fuling Mountain. There should be monsters on the mountain, but there are not yet."
The monk said, "How do you say this? There is something, there is nothing, how can you 'should' come from'?"
The woodcutter refused to answer and said, "Master, why don't we go up the mountain and take a look."
The monk nodded and said, "Then go and see it, I'm passing by anyway."
When the two of them went up the mountain, they didn't see any mountain spirits and tree monsters at all. This was like an ordinary mountain.
But strangely, the birds and beasts on the mountain have their own brilliance, as if they are full of energy.
The monk said in surprise: "I want to have a master in the mountain, let's go and visit."
The woodcutter thought about it and nodded in agreement.
soon.
The two of them came to a cave, which was a bit grand, as if there were more palaces than temples, and they read Yunzhan Cave.
The monk went to knock on the door, and a boy came to open the door.
The monk expressed his intention to stay overnight and visit. The boy was very enthusiastic and agreed.
Then please visit the cave owner.
When the monk and the woodcutter entered the depths of the cave, they saw that the Yunzhan Cave was indeed a palace, pavilions, towers, carved dragons and painted phoenixes.
If they had been to Liusha River, they would find that this cave is very similar to the sand and dust temple.
Even a piece of land was opened in the backyard to specialize in planting fairy rice.
However, the fairy rice is not growing well, and the fields are not fairy fields.
The cave owner came out and was a handsome and handsome middle-aged man. He was like a general on his horse and like a top scholar on his horse.
The body is full of immortality and radiance.
The monk's eyes glowed and said, "I am a monk who is seeking scriptures in the West. How dare you ask which immortal the cave owner is?"
Somehow, the Taoist names of Jin Chanzi’s ten-generation monks were actually Xuanzang.
When the cave master saw the monk, he was stunned and said, "You want to seek the scriptures in the West? Are you Xuanzang?"
The monk said, "The immortal recognizes me?"
The cave owner said: "It's spread everywhere. After eating your meat, you can live forever and have endless magic power."
The monk was shocked and a little frightened.
The cave owner frowned and said, "You are a scoundrel. I will not leave you here. I will give you some money. You can go to the West to obtain the scriptures by yourself."
Then he called the boy, took gold, silver and dry food, put it in the package, and drove the monk and the woodcutter out of the cave.
The monk was stunned and wanted to go back, but found that the cave was gone, so he could touch it with his hand.
His eyes lit up and he said, "He is really an immortal with a fairy spirit. If the Taoist monk does not leave any monks, I am abrupt."
"I want to practice immortality with him."
The woodcutter's heart thumped and said, "Master, don't let the Buddha down."
The monk smiled and said, "It's just thinking, my heart is for Buddha and I will never change it."
The woodcutter breathed a sigh of relief, wiped his sweat, and muttered: "It's all uneasy."
When the monk went down the mountain, he was stunned when he saw the woodcutter and said in confusion: "Disciple, why are you stunned?"
The woodcutter hurriedly said, "Nothing."
Then followed.
However, what the monk couldn't see was the complexity in the woodcutter's eyes.
The woodcutter muttered: "Didn't he betrayed the pig's fetus by mistake? He had to go through countless hardships? Why did he find the cave so quickly, restore his magic power, and he was not interested in Xuanzang's flesh at all?"
