Chapter 86 Galloping (Part 2)

Someone brought in hot water. Liang Jing and Cheng Yan took off Li Qing's clothes, scrubbed them briefly, changed into light trousers, took out another pill, dissolved it with water, and fed Li Qing to take it. This was the medicine for relieving the pain and calming the spirit prepared by Li Qing. Soon, the pain in Li Qing's body gradually became numb, and he was dizzy and curled up in the quilt. The autumn in Han Dynasty was so cold!

In a daze, a warm body hugged her, and Li Qing squeezed into this warmth.

"Qingqing, get up and have some porridge."

Li Qing was fed some porridge in a daze. He held the warmth tightly and squeezed his body in. A chuckle and sigh that seemed extremely distant in his ears. The slow and numb pain hit her. The surroundings were cold and irritating. She didn't want to go back to the ice water. She must grab the warmth, nest herself in, and bury her.

Ping Wang looked at Li Qing, who was holding his clothes tightly and squeezing his body into his arms. Her consciousness seemed a little dazed. Ping Wang stretched out his hand to stroke Li Qing's cold arm, frowned and asked:

"What medicine did the lady take?"

"When I say it, my wife said it is a medicine that is specially used to relieve pain and calm the mind."

Ping Wang frowned and touched Li Qing's forehead. His forehead was not hot. Ping Wang breathed a sigh of relief.

"Go and see if you have any furnaces."

Cheng Yan agreed to go out and came back in a moment to report:

"If you say goodbye, I have checked it and I don't bring a furnace."

King Ping raised his head, looked at Cheng Yan coldly, waved his hand to signal her to go out, looked down at Li Qing who was nestled in his arms, barely took off his clothes and lay down, and hugged Li Qing in his arms.

Li Qing held the warmth tightly, his body slowly warmed up, and he gradually relaxed and fell asleep.

The next day, when Li Qing woke up, although she was still tired, the pain in her body had improved a lot. King Ping was no longer in the tent. Li Qing called Cheng Yan and Liang Jing in, washed up and changed clothes, ate a bowl of porridge, the black-clothed guard cleaned up the camp, and the group set off on the road and continued to gallop towards Longping Mansion.

At the beginning of Hai, the black-clothed guards surrounded King Ping and entered Longping Mansion along the empty street to the prefectural palace.

The prefect Pan Linjie had been waiting at the door of the mansion. King Ping got off the horse and hugged the dizzy Li Qing and headed straight to the backyard.

In the main room of the backyard, Mrs. Pan and her mother came in. King Ping put Li Qing on the bed, and with a cold face, she ordered everyone to wait carefully and go to the outer yard.

Mrs. Pan personally served Li Qing to take off her clothes and helped her soak it in hot water. Li Qing's body slowly warmed up and gradually became clearer. She looked at Mrs. Pan with blurred eyes and reluctantly smiled and thanked her.

After taking a shower and washing up, Li Qing changed into underwear, held Mrs. Pan and lay on the bed. The bedding was already hot. Li Qing was half lying in the soft and warm quilt and sighed comfortably. Mrs. Pan smiled and looked at her. She only heard that the new princess was young, but she didn't expect that she was only about the same age as her daughter. Mrs. Pan took the veil from the girl's hand, stepped forward and bent her knees for blessing, and then sat sideways to the edge of the bed, carefully tugging her hair for Li Qing, and asked with a smile:

"Madam, eat something before sleeping,"

Li Qing shook her head. She couldn't eat anything at this moment. Mrs. Pan gently advised:

"Madam, if you can't eat anything, just drink a few sips of bird's nest porridge. You have to eat a little, sleeping on an empty stomach will hurt your body."

Li Qing turned around and looked at her with a smile and nodded. The girl brought the bird's nest porridge. Mrs. Pan handed the muffin veil to the girl, took the bowl, held Li Qing in her arms, and served her for half a bowl.

After a while, Li Qing's hair was tampered and Li Qing could no longer open his eyes. Mrs. Pan put her down, carefully covered the quilt, put down the curtain, turned off the light, and quietly retreated with her people.

In his sleep, Li Qing squeezed over to the familiar warmth around him, got into the warm arms, felt comfortable, sighed with satisfaction, and fell asleep deeply.

After resting in Longping Prefecture for two days, Li Qing recovered a lot of energy and became more energetic. Early on the third morning, King Ping took Li Qing and surrounded by dozens of black-clad guards to Lajing Mountain.

At the foot of Lajing Mountain, a few people wearing Baotou cloth with long bright pheasant feathers inserted on the left of Baotou cloth. Yue people wearing dark gray shorts were standing on the big stone at the foot of the mountain, looking at the way into the mountain. Seeing Pingwang and others coming over, several people jumped and rushed over from the rocks with nimble skills. Li Qing looked at them immediately in surprise. These people looked more like monkeys! Pingwang pressed his chin against Li Qing and said softly:

"These are probably all guards of the leader. Look at the flower feathers on their heads."

Li Qing nodded, and a horse among the black guard rushed out. The black guard came down and said a few words to the people. Several Yue people turned around with a smile on their faces and led them in front. The group entered the mountain along the winding mountain road.

After riding a horse for half an hour, the horses in front of him could no longer enter. Two Yue people with no feathers on their heads were carrying a bamboo chair. Just as they were waiting on the road, a Yue guard smiled and signaled to give him the horse. Several black guards stayed to look at the horse. The rest surrounded the King of Ping and Li Qing. Yue people guards smiled and asked Li Qing to sit on the bamboo chair. The group continued to walk into the mountains. Li Qing sat on the bamboo chair, enjoying the steep and beautiful scenery around the surroundings. This was where Mu Lian first settled. Mu Lian walked out from here. After walking for about an hour, he arrived in a spacious valley.

There were many Yue people guards with the same feathers standing in the valley, staring at Ping Wang and the Black Guards with vigilance.

The group came to a tall platform. In front of the platform was a tall middle-aged man with more than a dozen bright feathers on his head. There were two beautiful women with beautiful facial features and toned figures. One was older, in his thirties, and younger, about the early twenties. They were all wearing short tops with exposed waists and bright but extremely short skirts. They were barefoot. The middle-aged man seemed not to see King Ping, staring at Li Qing solemnly. The two women stared at King Ping for a long time before turning their heads and looked at Li Qing curiously. The bamboo chair stopped. King Ping stepped forward and helped Li Qing stand up, and said in her ear:

"They are their heads standing in front of the platform."

Li Qing responded with a smile. King Ping held Li Qing's hand and walked towards the platform. Five steps away from the platform, the Yue guard stopped the black-clothed guards. King Ping raised his hand to signal the black-clothed guards to be in the audience, turned around and led Li Qing to the platform. The middle-aged man stepped forward and stopped him halfway to the front of the platform, stared at Li Qing and asked:

“你就是木莲传人?”

Li Qing nodded and looked at him. The head man was very tall, half a head taller than King Ping. His face was black and rough, with a bit of fierceness, but his eyes were deep and clear. There were a few small golden rings hanging on his ears. Li Qing smiled at him. The head man was stunned, and there was a little ferocity on his face. He turned around and pointed at King Ping and asked:

"He said he is your husband?"

Li Qing nodded with a smile, and the leader looked at Li Qing up and down, and then asked for a while:

"Have you given birth to him?"

Li Qing was stunned and said in a daze after a while:

"not yet."

"Then he is not your husband! You are free!"

The head man said firmly, Li Qing opened his eyes in shock, and suddenly felt the urge to laugh. He tried hard to hold back his laughter and turned to look at Ping Wang. Ping Wang's face was tense, staring at the head man, and after a while, he said:

"A Liutou people, this is the rule of your Yue people."

The Liutou Man glanced at King Ping with disdain, turned to Li Qing and asked:

"You are going to have a baby for him?"

Li Qing couldn't help laughing, turned his head to look at King Ping, and King Ping's face turned dark.

"Ah Liutou people, we will have a lot of children."

A coldness flashed in Li Qing's eyes, and he lowered his eyes. The Liutou man ignored King Ping's words and stared at Li Qing and asked again:

"You are going to have a baby for him?"

Li Qing raised his head and looked at the Liutouren and asked:

"A Liutouren, hasn't my husband answered you?"

"Women have to decide whether to give birth to a child or not. This is the rule set by the Mu Lian God! You are the successor of Mu Lian!"

Li Qing looked at Ah Liutou in shock, looked back at King Ping, and nodded. Ah Liutou nodded with satisfaction, turned around and took Li Qing and King Ping to the high platform. The platform extended from a wide cave. King Ping held Li Qing's hand and followed Ah Liutou into the cave.

The cave was very bright, with soft light surrounding it. In the middle of the cave, there were several huge cases, with fresh fruits and vegetables on it. Behind the cases was a portrait of a person of a very short hair and weird clothes. The man's face was very strange. Li Qing stared at the portrait for a while before his eyes moved around. There were several armchairs on each of the cases. On the chair on the top of the left, there were very tall but extremely thin old man. His eye sockets were slightly sunken, but his eyes were as bright as wild beasts. Four or five elderly people of different ages were sitting next to him, and there was an old woman, who was staring at Li Qing tightly.

The sixth head man stepped forward and put his hands together, bent his waist very deeply and bowed.

"Great Witch, the man is here."

The skinny old man nodded, stared at Li Qing for a while, turned his head and looked at King Ping, asking in a sharp voice:

"You are the king of Han?"

King Ping tense his face, nodded straight, and the wizard smiled sharply twice, looking at Li Qing and asked:

"Are you the successor of Mulian?"

Li Qing nodded, and the great witch turned around and looked at the witches sitting next to him, and said with a sharp smile:

"Okay, we can let Mu Lian God recognize you, but if Mu Lian God does not recognize you, according to our rules, you or your husband will leave a hand or foot to apologize to Mu Lian God, you have to think clearly."

Li Qing frowned and looked at King Ping hesitantly. He had never told her that there was anything else that made Mu Lian Shen recognize him, or that he would not, and he would leave only one hand to do it! Who knows how to recognize him? She was not sure that she could pass this level. (To be continued. If you want to know what happens next, please log in. There are more chapters, support the author and support genuine reading!)
