Chapter 63 The City of the Monkey God

Lee protected Professor Miles into the ruins, and after entering through the tall main entrance was a wide corridor.

The corridor is surrounded by white stones, with countless reliefs carved on it, and the headlights are still lifelike.

"This is a mural in which they praise the gods." The old professor leaned over and looked carefully, while Dom was responsible for taking pictures behind him.

The relief mural he looked at outlined a picture: a tall monster with a monkey-like look was dancing above the mural, a large water flowed out from behind it, and below were countless civilians and various crops and livestock, all trembling in the rampage of the flood.

After reading this, everyone turned to the next one. This mural painted a god man wearing armor. He had a sword on his waist and a chain in his hand. The chain passed over his shoulder and tied to the neck of the strange monkey in the previous mural.

The monkey held the chains in both hands, and his body was obviously retreating. But it could be seen that it was still being dragged towards a mountain by the god man.

The flood at the feet of these two people also returned to peace. The common people on the river bank were cheering, and some were kneeling on the ground to pray.

After reading this mural, everyone looked at the third mural, while Li frowned and looked at the mural, a feeling of déjà vu arises naturally.

Jessica turned around and woke him up and looked at the third one together.

This mural is more complicated than the first two. The distance to the mural seems to be a battlefield, with countless villains fighting on both sides. The main length of the mural is a group of civilians following the armored god man and walking towards the water. Behind the god man were the monkey and countless strange monsters, including the monster with a leopard head and human body that Li saw in the square before.

After reading this mural, the corridor also came to an end. This is a hall, about 10 meters high and half a football field, with an oval layout.

After the corridor comes out, three steps about one meter high extend down to the ground, with steps of normal height on both sides.

On both sides of the hall are statues of the monkey on the mural, about five meters high. On both sides of the statue of the divine monkey are statues of monsters on the third mural, leopard-headed man, eagle-headed man, snake-headed man and a fish-headed man.

There is a corridor on both sides of the hall, and the black and dirty ones are unknown where they lead. Dom holds his camera and keeps taking pictures of the statue group.

The professor shone the entire hall with a flashlight and sighed: "What a huge project to build such a huge temple in their era. I have to admire the ability and wisdom of the Moskitians."

Li's heart moved and turned around to ask the professor: "What if this temple was not built by a human?"

"What does it mean?" Professor Miles looked at him in confusion, and everyone else looked over curiously.

Li pointed to the hall and the corridor that had walked before and said, "These buildings are huge projects for us humans, but what if they were here to do it?" As he said, he pointed his hand at the statues.

"Don't you think these steps and roofs are a bit too huge for humans? On the other hand, it would be very suitable if it was a creature of the size of a statue coming."

The professor laughed, "Li, you believe that you have a lot of power and can be a science fiction novelist. But maybe the Moskitians were preparing for their gods when they first built these buildings."

Hal and Dom also smiled and began to look around at the items scattered on the floor of the hall.

Unlike their happy mood, Locke and Finley all gasped after hearing Li's words, and their faces became ugly. They could have seen the legendary creatures.

Lock looked at the smallest 3-meter-high eagle-headed statue opposite, then looked at his fists, and began to think about what chance he would have of winning if he had faced.

Finley began to think about what method he could use to save his life and where to attack to be effective.

Jessica walked over to Lee and asked softly, "What did you see?"

"Not yet, but the murals in the corridor remind me of the mythological stories my master told me when he was a child. If it were those ancient strange people, I'm afraid none of them can be dealt with." Li said with a wry smile.

"Yes, it's here when Theodore Maud came in 1940." The professor picked up a white stone-carved armadillo, "and it was almost exactly the same as the one he brought out from here."

Hal and the others also found things like torches on the ground to prove that someone has indeed been here.

Lee took the torch and looked at it, and said to the professor: "And not only did he not come back, he committed suicide 14 years later. Professor, you have to admit that there are still many things in this world that we don't understand. So, please be careful."

The professor and the others thought about it, looked at the stone statues that Li had just joked about, and started to fight a cold war. They also began to be cautious.

After searching for a while, the professor's professional qualities made him throw his fear of the unknown behind him.

He said in annoyedly: "The valuable things here have basically been emptied. I have to go to the corridors on both sides to see. Let's take action separately. Hal, you and Dom go there, I will go here and meet here in an hour. Mr. Li, can your men and women protect us separately?"

Li nodded helplessly and complained in his heart that you have arranged it and asked me...

Li and Jessica followed the old professor to the corridor on the left. This time the murals of the corridor were smaller than the corridor outside, but the picture was much more detailed and vivid.

These murals carve various scenes of people migrating, farming, and sacrifice, and the appearance of people inside seems to have changed a little, and they use grass or leaves as clothes.

"It seems that the Moskitians are not native to this place. They seem to be here guided by their gods and settled down." The professor explained to Li and the others as he looked at the mural.

Li Momo looked at the murals, and there was a doubt that the professor did not remind him where the golden armored god who first led people to start migration had gone, why was the consecrated person in the hall actually his defeated general?

After passing through the corridor, he came to a small hall. When the professor pointed the flashlight at the wall opposite the passage, he exclaimed. "Oh my God, what is this, Oh my God, what did I find."

He shouted and rushed towards the wall and observed carefully.

Below the mural was countless people, led by a priestly dressed in his knees. In the middle of the mural was a temple in the shape of a pyramid, and the teacher was always watching the top of the pyramid.

There was a majestic snake carved there, and the slender body that rose into the air actually had a pair of feather wings. There were some clouds carved around the snake's body, and there seemed to be lightning passing through the clouds. The majestic snake head, tight scales, and feathers visible on its wings. The whole snake seemed to fly out in detail. On the head of the snake, a scorching sun shone on all things on the earth.
