Chapter 8 Undercurrent (3)

Before Haral finished speaking, rows of ambushed archers appeared from the grass on the mountain and behind the big trees. Then, a rain of arrows fell from the top of the mountain. The pirates hurriedly raised their shields to cover them, but many people were still injured by arrows. Soon, the second wave of arrows fell again. Because these archers stood on an extremely tilted steep slope, the pirates could not attack from this side of the mountain, so they had to shrink their formation and retreat near the carriage.

"There seems to be a bit too many people!" Ulf hid behind the carriage and shouted, "Don't kill and grab treasures, how about we retreat?"

"Retreat? A group of bandits who don't know the heights of the sky and the earth will be honest if they cut off a few of them!"

Haral rolled down from the carriage. When he got up, he had an axe and a shield in his hand. But he saw his feet pushing back with force. After a short acceleration, he rushed up the steep slope!

He pressed the round shield to his head and blocked all the arrows flying from above. The overly tilted steep slope also provided good protection for his lower body. He was like a quick and agile goat, and rushed to a difficult-to-climb hill in just a few steps. With a wave of his left hand, the shield smashed away a bandit blocking in front.

"I am the 'hair salon king' Haral! If you are not afraid of death, come up for me!"

He loudly reported his name, and then glanced around him proudly. He felt that he was already intimidating the world, second only to the King of Heroes and King of Sweden in the pirate kingdom. As soon as this title came out, the group of small bandits in front of him would worship him even if they didn't fall down, and they would have to scatter and escape.

But who knew that the bandits were unmoved at all. Haral approached, and their archers immediately retreated, while the people holding swords and spears in the back row rushed up and surrounded Haral.

"Do you want to fight, right? OK, I'll give you some fun!"

Haral rushed up with an axe. He had the natural-level war god's protection, and it would be no problem to fight a regular army of one or two hundred people. The group of small thieves with simple equipment in front of him would kill as much as he could.

But he saw him swing the axe like a windmill to protect his whole body. When he touched the spear, he cut off the spear and broke the bones. Although the enemy was numerous, he could not get close to his body at all. How could he be so majestic!

"If you are afraid of death, please dodge me! The wooden wall can be cut off with a wave of my hand. Are your bones harder than the wall?"

With a "click", the axe slashed into a person's shoulder, and it was so deep that it was completely out of the handle. Haral was surprised, not because of the depth of the wound. But the man had just leaned against his axe, as if he was afraid that his axe would not be cut deep. He wanted to take the axe back, but the man gritted his teeth and grabbed his hand.

The axe stuck into his bones and his hand was also grabbed. But this did not constitute any problem for Haral. With a slight force on his hand, the man was picked up and swung it hard. The man could no longer catch Haral's axe and was thrown straight away. However, at that moment, Haral saw his smile - he actually smiled in such extreme pain, and there was no fear of death at all!

With just a moment of lag, the other bandits seized the opportunity of Kecheng. Haral was stabbed three times in a row. He shouted loudly, endured the pain and swung the axe again, and finally forced the bandits to retreat. After seeing again, the bandits not only did not flee as he expected, but instead rushed a large number of reinforcements from afar!

"Damn it, I can't beat you anymore, a madman who is not afraid of death!"

Haral turned around and hugged his head, rolling down the slope as if he ran away. Then, he got up from the ground in a mess and shouted to everyone who was still hiding behind the carriage:

"Don't be standing there, we are surrounded, retreat quickly!"

Earl Anhalt and his knights ran the fastest because of their horses. The other pirates could only protect the carriages and cargo, and fought and retreated. Seeing that more and more pirates were injured, Yarmar reacted first and shouted:

"Leave the carriage and goods and disturb them! Don't worry about these bottles and jars. The goods are snatched, and we'll grab them back another day!"

So the pirates left the goods and fled in a hurry. Haral ran hundreds of meters in one breath. When he turned around, he saw that the bandits had slipped down the slope. However, they did not compete for the goods at all, but continued to chase Haral and his group!

"Oh no, I want to kidnap! My hair salon king is actually going to fall into the hands of a group of bandits!"

"Sir!" Earl Anhalt ran back from the front with a few knights, "If you don't have horses, it's too far for you to run back to my territory! If you walk towards the direction of the Duke of Anglia, there is a baron's castle, not far away! Go there to hide! Leave it here to us!"

As he said that, he led the knights behind him to charge towards the bandits. As soon as the bandits rolled down the slope, they immediately launched a pursuit. The team was sparse, with only a few people rushing in front, and they could not stop the attack of several heavily armored cavalry. Earl Anhalt dispersed the frontal forces of the enemy, then immediately turned his head and caught up with Haral again.

The Baron's castle soon appeared in front of him. This place was no longer the territory of Anhalt, and the local Baron and Count Anhalt had no direct contact with superiors and subordinates. However, when they saw an injured team seeking help under the castle under the flag of Count Anhalt, the local Baron still opened the castle door, put Haral and his group in, and found a doctor for Haral and the others.

Haral had one injury on his left abdomen, left arm and right waist, but fortunately he was not very injured. After the doctor simply disinfected the wound with a roasted red soldering iron, he bandaged him layer by layer with bandage.

At the same time, Earl Anhalt was also asking the local baron about the situation of the bandit:

"When I was rushing towards Turing Gen, I encountered a group of bandits at the foot of the mountain. There were many people, and I guess there were at least three or four hundred people. They snatched away a batch of valuable goods from us. Do you know the details of this bandits? Where is their camp?"

However, the local barons knew nothing about this:

"In the past, there were a group of bandits here, but Duke Otto disappeared after his death. The surroundings have been calm since then, and I haven't seen bandits in several years. You said there were three or four hundred people? This is quite large. If there were indeed some, the surrounding villages would be affected. I shouldn't have no idea? Are you telling the truth?"

"Of course it's the truth!" Earl Anhalt was furious, "Without a bandit, did we fall out of these injuries on our bodies?"

A sentry ran over and said, "Report - report! Bandits! A group of bandits appeared under the castle!"

"What?" Earl Anhalt was shocked. "They are so bold that they are all chasing here?"

"Did you see clearly?" the local baron grabbed the sentry, "What flag is there, how many people are there?"
