Chapter 39: Decisive Battle (3)

“This is impossible.”

Nesavalcoyotel's eyes were bulging like a frog.

"Four days! Even if the incense in the whole city of Tracopan, Tescoco, and Tenochititlan are piled up together to burn, it will not last four days! What's going on!"

He threw several huge fireballs into the swamp covered by white mist, and only responded to him was a few empty sounds.

No one could answer his doubts. He could only wait on the hill, watching the swamp ahead be surrounded by white smoke day after day. His patience was consumed to the extreme while waiting. At first, he was throwing fireballs into the swamp unnecessary. Later, he had released pillars of fire that soared into the nearby ground from time to time for no reason.

On the sixth day, his entourage captured a Trakopan soldier. The soldier was a scout sent by Audmok and had been observing Nesawar Koyotel's actions nearby and was not discovered until now.

"What the hell is going on!" Nesavalkoyotel asked, grabbing the soldier's hair, "Even if Tracopan wants to make a fuss, where did he get so much incense!"

"Only the first smoke was incense..."

The soldier was commanded by Nesavalkoyotel and could only confess truthfully.

"What about later?"

"Later, it was mixed with other things. A bunch of leaves, only a little bit of it was added. Although the smoke was very large and you could smell a little incense, it was basically ordinary smoke. When we were inside, we felt that the magic power had no change at all. We burned it for two consecutive days."

"Two days? It's the sixth day now!"

"The incense is burned in two days. Tratoani sees that you don't dare to come over anyway, so she simply doesn't add any incense, just a little bit of ordinary leaves. This is how the smoke you see now is made..."

The soldier revealed the truth in front of Nesavalkoyotel, while Nesavalkoyotel's face became increasingly blue.

Ordinary leaves, he was delayed by the smoke from the ordinary leaves for a full six days!

He slapped the Trakopan soldier down and then strode towards the swamp.

The white smoke was still rolling, but as the soldier said, there was really no smell of incense inside, only the choking smell of smoke, Nesavalkoyotel coughed repeatedly. Every time Nesavalkoyotel took a step forward, his inner anger increased one point. He felt his wisdom being played with. He had teased the members of the "Rat", Tsosomok, and the Sun King. Although he was teased several times when he was against Ella, he was still his victory in some small things and big strategies. But now, he was played like an idiot!

His pace became more and more vigorous, and he shook the followers behind him from afar. Soon, he passed through the swamp and came to the soldiers of Trakopan who were burning branches.

"You are trying to delay my pace to gain time to capture Tescoco, and then use the incense from Tescoco to deal with me, right?"

While coughing violently from the white smoke, he shouted at Awutmok who was standing in front of him.

"I have completely seen through this little trick! You can't play with me!"

"Tratoani of Tescoco—No, Nesawar Koyotel,” Awutmok took Maquowet from his entourage fearlessly, "You are my elder, so say hello to you-Is your body okay now?"

"Okay, very good!" Nesavalkoyotel yelled while coughing, "It's no problem to burn you all to ashes now!"

"Really?" Awutmok pointed in his eyes, "You're already full of tears, do you know?"

Before Nesawar Koyotel could react, he pointed to his throat again: "Is he breathing a little rapid?"

Then, he pointed to his skin again: "Don't you feel it hurt? Take a look and see if it's covered with blisters?"

The wind blew, blew the smoke towards Nezaval Koyotel.

"You...!" After confirming everything, Nesavalkoyotel glared at Awutmok with red eyes, "Is this smoke poisonous?"

A ray of fire suddenly rose in a dark room, and Amy took the torch and ignited the candlesticks arranged in the room in turn. Three staff officers followed her, and Bjorn, who was holding the spear tightly behind her.

"What do you think of my combat arrangement?" she asked.

"It's extremely clever," said Yarmal, "I can't think of such a solution. Whenever I do this, I feel that there are indeed geniuses in the world."

"Genius? I'm just an ordinary maid." Amy shook her head, "but I'm lucky that I always meet all kinds of geniuses around me. All I do is stay quietly and remember the deeds of these geniuses with care. For example, this time - if you can use poison, why should you use incense? Dust taught me."

Awutmok waved Maquowit in front of Nesawarkoyotel, and Nesawarkoyotel felt his head becoming more dizzy and his body was soft and he couldn't use his strength.

"So? Nesawarkoyotel?" Awutmok said sarcastically, "Have you seen through this too?"

Nesavalkoyotel suddenly roared, and more than ten huge pillars of fire immediately soared into the sky, scaring Awutmok to jump backwards.

"I saw through it, of course I saw through it." Nesavalkoyotel's face was already crying because of the white smoke, but he was laughing wildly at the sky, "What can I do to me if a little poisonous smoke is there? Look at me killing you all!"

"Oh no, is the dose not enough?" Awutmok turned around in panic and waved his hand, "Retreat quickly, withdraw quickly!"

Nesavalkoyotel laughed, throwing fireballs forward wantonly, while walking forward stumbled forward. He quickly broke through Autemok's defense line and came to the siege camp. He waved his hands frantically, allowing the hot flames to sweep the battlefield like a whirlwind. No one could resist his progress, and even the iron tools turned into iron under the heat flow. Not too long, the entire battlefield was filled with flames and black smoke, and all he could see was the shadows running in panic and panic screams of the rebels.

Nesavalkoyotel was unintentionally pursuing. He coughed while walking under the city wall. The Tescoko army guarding the city seemed to have seen a savior and hurriedly opened the city gate. Nesavalkoyotel glanced at everyone in a daze, and all the people caught their eyes were some of the lowest-level soldiers. And those higher-level officers had all died in the siege of several days.

Walking on the broken street, from his nose, a gentle chanting of poetry—

"I saw it, and was shocked."

"There are bones everywhere--!"

"The head is blooming, the house is raised."

"The blood stained the walls red, and insects crawled alleys;"

"Brain splashes all over the walls, blood stains the lake water red;"

"But, the victory is up to us!"

——And then, an obsidian dagger stabbed into his waist from behind.

The dark room was filled with a second ray of fire. Amy held a torch and continued to light up the candlesticks in various parts of the room.

"Even the enemy can learn a lot. After the bloody battle, people always want to go home to celebrate and rest, but is the home safe? Ivar taught me."

"The white smoke blocked Nesavalkoyotel for six days," sighed Estrard, "No matter how smart he was, he would never have thought that it took us only three days, and even before he came back, we had already captured Tescoco, right?"

"Absolutely," Ulf said, "no one would have thought of it."

Amy shook her head.
