Chapter 12: The Feathered Snake God (5)

Dan had never seen Jabir Ibn Hayan. Hestein "fled for fear of sin" before he arrived in Antilia. He was not present when Meli called out the snake in the crowbar in Zeland. But he had seen the wild Baslik. As an alchemist, he also knew the story of the Alchemist Staff.

Ella was not surprised that Dan would pronounce Jabir's name. She had already discovered that for alchemists, Jabir Ibn Hayang is a master in history that cannot be ignored.

"Yes. It's the alchemy rod made by Jabir Ibn Hayan." Ella replied, "I got it in Antilia. Can you summon Baslik the poisonous snake inside?"

"It requires some alchemy knowledge, but now I... should be able to do it."

Dan held the crowbar with both hands, raised it tremblingly above his head, and recited a spell that Ella had never heard of before.

"What are you chanting?" Ella asked.

"The spell that summons this snake."

Ella was slightly surprised - whether it was Jabir, Meli, or the girl who called herself Paracelsus, she had never recited any spells when summoning the snake.

"Where did this spell come from?"

"There are records in ancient alchemy documents - in secret words. Only the most profound alchemist can unravel the secrets. Of course, you must have known the Swedish king."

"I don't..."

Ella's second half of the sentence came to an abrupt end. She noticed that the snake wrapped around the crowbar was twisting slightly in the sound of the spell. She turned to recite meaningfully:

"Ah-I forgot, this is magic."

"It's magic, right?"

"Yes." Ella stared at the snake that was about to survive and suddenly added, "However, the things in it don't seem to be Baslik. Baslik has no wings, but this snake has a pair of wings."

"The legendary Baslice had wings." Dan replied casually, "The Baslice you saw in the North Sea are just incomplete things, and Jabir's alchemy works are close to perfection."

As soon as the words were finished, the crowbar suddenly made a spitting sound from a snake. It first became soft and fleshy, and then it expanded rapidly. Dan's hand quickly could not hold on to the weight. It landed on the ground, and its body grew at a speed visible to the naked eye. The scales on its body rubbed violently against the ground, making a sound. The narrow room quickly could not accommodate its length. It raised its head and half of the ceiling was lifted up!

"Success! I successfully called Baslice!"

The disaster on the roof could not suppress Dan's excitement at all. He danced with his hands and feet under Baslik:

"Baslic is out! I'm already a powerful alchemist!"

Ella ran out of the room and saw two huge, white, and plump wings stretched out from the giant snake.

She lowered her head, thinking:

"It really grew wings..."

"Have you grown wings?" Dan, who ran out, asked in confusion, "Didn't you say that it has always had wings?"

"Ah, that's not what it means, wings always have wings," Ella explained. "I just thought your skills couldn't call out the winged Baslice."

"So if the technology is not in place, will it be without wings?" Dan was ecstatic, "So my alchemy skills are already so powerful?"

——Of course, Ella's words are all lies.

The snake that Meli called out had no wings at all. The snake that the girl called out was only a small pair that was not obvious, and the snake that Dan called out had its wings covered the entire roof.

Dan's magic power cannot be stronger than Melis, and alchemy knowledge cannot be stronger than Paracelsus.

Looking at the white winged Baslic in front of him, Ella became more confident in her plan.

"Dan, can you turn my hair from golden to brown permanently, then do you have the ability to turn the whole body of this snake into green?"

"Green? Why do you turn green?"

"I want it to look like the legendary feathered snake god in Aztlan. It was a snake covered with green bird feathers..."

"The whole body is full of green bird feathers? Baslik is full of scales? And the most prominent feature of the so-called Baslik is the cockscomb on the top of your head? Your snake god also has a cockscomb on the top of your head...?"

"Don't worry about these, think about the wings first." Ella interrupted Dan's questioning, "Can you turn green with this white wing?"

"Not that's not... why don't you use dye?"

"I want to minimize flaws as much as possible. Your medication will last longer. If you can't do it, I'll consider using dyes again."

Dan pointed to the green trunk in his colorful hair: "In the process of studying drugs that turn hair into golden color, I did create other colors of medicines, and there were green inside. But no one wanted to use those things, so I kept hiding them. If you need them, I should be able to read them out after rummaging on the warehouse - but there are many kinds of green, what do you need?"

"That green of the Kechar bird feathers."

“What is the Kechar bird feather?”

Without waiting for Ella to answer, Dust ran over from a distance with a handful of feathers:

"King of Sweden, I... scared! What kind of monster is this?"

Dust jumped back, drew his sword and looked carefully at the giant snake that was poking its head out of the room.

Ella was too lazy to explain and said casually: "It's Amy's pet."

"Pet?" Dust stared at Baslic with a complicated expression for a while, and hesitantly put away the sword. "I can't tell, Amy is playing very much."

"Not to mention this, Dust, have you got the Kechar Toefeather?"

So Dust raised a pile of feathers in his hand: "Nat Sosomuk didn't know what the hell. When he saw me, he barked like a dog. He couldn't even ask what Kechar bird feathers were, so I took all the feathers decorated on his body! Which one do you think?"

The bird feather has various colors. Ella chose the green one from it. As Bjorn said, the color of this feather is extremely bright, even if it is jade, it will be eclipsed in front of it.

"This green?" Dan was dumbfounded. "I've never seen this...it's so gorgeous, my medicine can't produce such bright colors!"

"You don't need to be exactly the same, just try to get close. If it really doesn't work, use ordinary green. I'll find another craftsman to add a little luster."

Dan was still hesitant. But Ella's stern look at him obviously did not allow him to refuse. He had to agree: "I'll give it a try, try it... When do you need it?"

"The faster the better. It's better within three days."

"Three days?" Dan exclaimed again, "This is too tight! Why are you so anxious?"
