Chapter 12 Is it Paracelsus? (4)

The underground waterway was dark and gloomy. Fortunately, Dust was walking on the water distribution pipe this time, and there was no smell. This mysterious atmosphere away from the ground made Amy a little excited. She had always been interested in various adventure stories. She could not protect herself in the past, but now she has the strength of the elf, and she yearns for adventure even more.

"You said, will there be people living here?"

Amy asked with interest.

But Dust and Anna looked at each other: "Impossible, who would live in such a place with bad conditions?"

"Will any fugitives build an underground kingdom here to take refuge, marry and have children here? Newborn babies have grown up in it since childhood and have never seen the sun..."

Dust and Anna shook their heads, obviously not interested in the topic. Amy felt bored and shut up.

The directions were not clear in the underground waterway. But the pathway was already traced during the day. The pirates made obvious marks at various corners. With these marks, Amy and others dived into the Alchemy University from the underground waterway without much effort.

It was already late at night, but the lights from the Alchemy University were still on, and noisy voices came from the laboratory building. I guess it was the alchemists who were working on some important items.

"Where should we go?" Anna asked Amy. She and Dust were both entering Alchemy University for the first time.

"Go to Paracelsus' room first."

Amy took Anna and Dust to sneak into the woods. The cabin was pitch black and completely hidden in the night. If Amy hadn't known in advance that there was a cabin here, she would have almost never discovered it.

No voices came from the room. Amy was unwilling to give up and pushed open the door and went in to take a look. The things in the room were in a mess, and it was obvious that it was Ella's work. It was seen that after Ella left, no one had been here.

Amy was a little disappointed. Before leaving, she watered the pots of flowers in the room.

"If there is no room, I can only catch an alchemist and ask. The person who knows Paracelsus's best thing here is the principal John de Rupisissa, so it's best to ask him directly. I remember his office is..."

Dust suddenly covered Amy's mouth and pulled her to the side. A teacher-like man pushed a cart of boxes past Amy's position just now. He came to a wall where many sealed boxes were piled up on the wall.

The teacher carefully lifted up the boxes on the cart one by one and placed them next to the wall.

Just as he was doing this, two patrol soldiers passed by here. They saw the teacher moving boxes and coming over to help, but the teacher drove them out unceremoniously; "Go away! I have said several times, you will destroy these things, don't get close to here!"

The two soldiers didn't mind and left straight away. The teacher cursed, "It's going to cause trouble", and then turned around and walked back to the laboratory.

As soon as the teacher entered the door, Dust immediately flashed out and came to the pile of boxes.

"What's inside?" Anna asked, pressing her voice behind the wall.

Dust looked at a box left and right, and then replied in a voice: "These boxes are tightly sealed, please find out if there are any tools!"

At this moment, new footsteps came from a distance. Dust made a quick decision, lifted a box and hid in a crack in a wall. The footsteps came from another group of patrolling soldiers. One of them raised a torch and explored the corner where the boxes were stacked. So the other soldier immediately cursed: "Don't use a torch to get close to those things! Are you afraid of your life?"

"I just heard something... maybe it was the teachers."

The soldier pulled the torch back and walked away with his companions.

Two groups of patrol soldiers in a short time meant that this place should not be left for a long time. Amy and others hurried back to the small wooden house in the woods with their boxes.

The box was made of metal, and the cover was carefully closed, so that even air could not run in. Dust shook the box, and there was a rustling sound of water inside.

"liquid?"

A hint of surprise flashed across the faces of the three of them. People from the Island Republic treated these boxes so carefully, and they thought that there must be something flammable in it. Since it was liquid, why can't the fire be allowed to get close?

"Anyway, you have to open it and take a look to find out."

Dust took out a knife and tried to pry the lid open in the gap in the cover. But the box was closed too strong. Dust stabbed and smashed it, and finally made the interface sink a little. Taking advantage of the sinking gap, Dust finally successfully stuffed the knife into the cover and pried it hard!

The air poured into the box with Dust's movements, and almost at the same time, a ball of fire suddenly liberated from the box!

Dust was startled and threw the box away. The box turned around in the air, but no liquid was poured out. - The only things that were poured out of the box were fire, fire, and fire!

In the blink of an eye, the box was surrounded by a fire. The fire quickly ignited the nearby weeds and spread around the weeds, spreading all the way to the big trees.

Amy immediately used Loki's protection. She used magic to control the trajectory of the flames and tried to gather the spreading fires. However, whenever she sucked the flames, new fires would immediately emerge from the box. Amy had no choice but to control the flames around the box so that it would not spread outward.

Dust approached the box and saw that the thing in the box was indeed just a liquid. However, it kept on fire! Dust was stunned: "What's going on? What the hell is this?"

Amy lowered her voice and said, "Think about these things later. This fire is not caused by my magic. I can't destroy it. Get some water quickly, otherwise the teachers and students of the school will come over when they see the fire!"

Dust reacted and hurriedly ran to the well to draw a bucket of water. Amy collected the magic so that Dust's water could successfully extinguish the fire, while Dust threw the entire bucket of water towards the flame without hesitation.

——An unexpected situation happened again.

The moment I touched the water, a violent explosion occurred in the box. The burning fire not only did not extinguish due to the water, but instead burned even more violently after contacting the water!

The explosion alarmed everyone in the school, and in the blink of an eye, hundreds of guards surrounded them. What appeared in front of them was a burning iron can and several burning trees.

"It seems that someone has sneaked into here."

John de Rupisissa walked out of the crowd. The wrinkles on his face were much deeper than before.
