Chapter 7: Its an alchemist! (4)

"Apart from kelp ash, it seems that everything is impossible."

Patisipacio pondered for a moment, then turned his eyes to a wall: "Ipolita, take me to meet that Paracelsus."

Ipolita responded, and stood up after getting dressed. She took Patisipacio around the mansion for several times, and finally arrived at an inconspicuous room. She took out a bunch of keys and selected one from them to open the door.

There were many abandoned debris in the room, covered with dust. A slightly damaged bed was placed in one corner of the room. Epolita cleaned up the debris and moved the bed to the cleared space. After the bed was removed, there was a hole in the cellar hidden on the exposed ground. Epolita selected one from the keys and opened the door to the cellar. Then, she lit a candle in the utility room and took the Governor down the cellar.

The cellar was much larger than expected. After turning a few turns, a huge alchemy laboratory appeared in front of me. All alchemists could think of alchemy equipment here. The only drawback is that the light here is not very good. Except for the candle in Ipolita's hand, the candlesticks fixed on the walls around the laboratory are now in an extinguishing state, which makes it difficult for Pattispachio to see the situation in the laboratory clearly.

"Where is Paracelsus? Doesn't he need lighting?"

"Who knows, maybe he's even a mouse."

Ipolita mocked Paracelsus, and then lit the candlesticks around the room with a candle. When she lit the last candlestick, she noticed Paracelsus lying in the corner.

"Fat pig, why don't you get up soon."

Epolita sneered and dripped the hot wax oil down to Paracelsus's face. Paracelsus screamed and woke up with his face covering.

Patisipacio asked with his eyes narrowed, "Paracelsus, it's daytime now, are you sleeping here?"

Paracelsus wiped off the candle oil dripped on his face with his clothes, while glaring angrily at the maid who poured candle oil into his face: "It's dark here, how can I tell whether it's day or night!"

Patisipacio snorted: "What he said makes sense."

During this period, Ipolita brought him a chair, and Patisipacio sat on it, making the chair squeak. Patisipacio pressed his body on the back of the chair, and the chair made another bad sound.

Due to excessive exercise, many sweats appeared on Pattisipacio's face. Ipolita took out his handkerchief and wiped it off. Pattisipacio sat in the chair and took a few breaths before continuing: "The ugly saying goes ahead. Although your illegitimate daughter has been released for a while, the accounts have not been purchased or sold. If you can't make the ocean fire on time, I can't guarantee what she will encounter!"

"Made on time?" Paracelsus pushed back, "You can't even raise the raw materials for me. What can I use to prepare the ocean fire?"

"I heard from Ipolita that the raw materials you ask for are combustible water, suffocating air, and cold fire." At this point, Patisipacio's voice suddenly became louder, "Water is extinguished, how can it burn? With air, how can people suffocate? And fire, how can it be cold? The adjectives you use are completely contradictory to the nouns that follow, like square rounds, tall dwarfs, and ugly beauties, it is completely meaningless! Are you treating us as fools?"

"The wise know that they know nothing, but the ignorant thinks they know everything. Fortunately, I have prepared some of the combustible water and suffocating air on my own, which should be able to relieve your doubts."

As he said that, Paracelsus picked up a cup from the table and shook it at the governor and the maid. The cup contained a transparent liquid, which looked exactly like water from a distance.

"This is the essence I distilled from wine, the essence that gives wine power and nature. It is as immortal as a star. You can try to immerse the meat in this water, and the meat will be preserved for a long time and will no longer rot- because it is the water of life."

Patisipacio glanced at the liquid in the cup with suspicion: “Is this what you call 'combustible water'?”

"Yes," replied Paracelsus, "it is flammable. It is also drinkable like water. Do you want me to take a sip to demonstrate to you?"

"Let me try it!"

Ipolita snatched the cup from Paracelsus's hand without saying a word. She tilted the beaker slightly and put the candle on the liquid. With a "huh", a ball of fire emerged from the cup - the transparent liquid began to burn.

Ipolita and Patisipacio's eyes seemed to have seen miracles.

"Although the maid's maid is vicious, I still want to remind you gently that the cup will soon be burned. If you don't want to burn your hands, put the cup down."

Ipolita hurriedly put the cup on the table.

"Originally, if the maid wanted to try, I should pour some of it out." Paracelsus said slowly, "It's better now, now the entire cup of water of life has been ignited. It will take a lot of effort to re-made this big cup. Don't blame me if the construction period is delayed at that time?"

Ipolita panickedly and asked for advice to Pattisipacchio. Pattisipacchio stared at her and cursed: "Idiot! What do you think I'm doing? Why don't you go and put out the fire!"

Ipolita quickly scooped a large glass of water and poured it towards the cup that caught fire. Unexpectedly, the flames showed no sign of extinguishing when they hit the water. Ipolita was anxious and grabbed a big bucket and was about to pounce on the fire. But Paracelsus said gloatingly, "Be careful, if the water of life overflows, the fire will probably burn outside the cup!"

Patisipacio hurriedly picked up a cup and smashed it at Ipolita: "Idiot! You added ordinary water to it. Can this flammable water still work?" He turned his head and whispered to Paracelsus: "Master, please put out the fire quickly, don't burn it..."

Paracelsus shook his head and took a cup lid to cover it. After a while, when he took the cup lid away, the fire had already been extinguished.

"By the way... isn't this already invincible?" Pattisipacio slapped his head, "Is this the secret of the ocean fire?"
