Chapter 5 Ella is doing math problems (1)

Fire. The fire that swept across the world.

People run around in the flames, people burn in the flames, and people turn into dust in the flames.

Ivar's body was gradually torn to pieces by the fire. When the last half of his face was left, he looked at her obsessively and sighed: "It's so wonderful... This kind of ugliness is the evil god Loki!

"Luki, the god of fire!"

The people in the fire suddenly began to whisper the name of the god. The sound of prayer filled with pain gradually spread like waves to the entire world.

Countless figures appeared in the fire, surrounding her from all directions.

They drooped their heads, wrapped in the fire, and walked out of the fire.

"Luki, the god of fire!"

People surrounded her and prayed like a curse.

She wanted to retreat, she wanted to hide, she wanted to escape. But she had no way to retreat, no place to hide, and nowhere to escape.

The crowd suddenly rioted and overthrew one of them to the ground. They pressed him, bit his body with their teeth, and tore his flesh off one by one. The man raised his head in pain, allowing her to see her face clearly:

——That was her face. She was burned by fire and was extremely ugly.

Amy screamed and woke up from her dream. Sweat dripped down her body.

Hearing the screams, someone knocked outside to ask what was going on. Although Amy was just a humble maid, under Ella's insistence, two special guards were now protecting her.

"I'm fine." She replied through the door, "Is there any news about your majesty?"

"This...is not yet. However, Earl Grahamid's fleet has just been docked."

"General Grahead has arrived? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Amy suddenly turned off the bed. She took care of her clothes in a few strokes and hurried out of the room.

She slept in the "Flying Zealand" - a cabin in Nagilfa. She hurried to the deck and saw only lights covering the sea, one that stretched into the sky.

This is a unit of ten thousand people. Some of them are Alah's standing troops, some are recruited soldiers pulled out of Elah's direct territory, and some are Glaheide's own troops.

More than half of Ella's vassals were soldiers who left behind after Upland's defeat. As the first knight to stand out and cut off the rear, Grahaide was also the leader who led the soldiers who left behind to survive until Ella's counterattack. His reputation in Sweden was second only to Ella, and he was also trusted by Ella. Therefore, after Ella disappeared, Amy's first thought was to find Grahaide.

Graheide was only a little older than Ella, very young, and didn't even have a beard, but he had been following the "Knight King" Alfred for many years before becoming Ella's vassal.

Amy invited him to the Flying Zelan, let him sit in the usual seat of Ella, and then made him a cup of black tea.

Grahead took a sip of tea, and saw Ella standing by, she said embarrassedly, "Don't you sit down?"

Amy shook her head: "General, I'm just a maid."

Graheide smiled awkwardly and took a sip of tea in silence.

"General, you are finally here. There is no one here who can be a commander. I have always been worried that the people of the Almany Federation will launch an attack. Since the general is here, it will be safe. Next, Stad's military affairs will be fully handed over to the general to take care of."

"Term me to deal with it?"

Graheide looked puzzled. He shook his head and took another sip of tea.

"Do you think there is something wrong with the general?"

"If it is limited to commanding the troops currently in Stad, there is no problem to hand them over to me. But I heard that you have also summoned other vassals of the King of Sweden, and even other lords of the Pirate Kingdom, whom I cannot command."

"How could it be, as far as I know, the general's command ability should be the highest among those lords..."

"The most important thing in commanding an army is not command ability, but the prestige that can make everyone willing to obey command. I don't have this prestige." Graheide put the teacup on the table and covered the lid with a "slap". "In fact, I think it's harmful and useless to summon them at the moment when the Swedish king is missing."

Amy was stunned for a moment: "Why is this? Isn't it good to have more people?"

"If two horses pull the same car in different directions, it would be better to have only one horse from the beginning. No one can command the lords uniformly except the King of Sweden. If so, it would definitely not be me."

"Who can?"

Grahead didn't answer, but just stared at Amy. Amy looked around and carefully raised her hand and pointed at herself: "You mean... me?"

"I'm afraid you can't do it either. But you can only do it. Compared to the command ability of nothingness, a person's courage can be measured in reality. People in the Pirate Kingdom like to obey the command of the warriors."

"I……?"

Graheide shook his head and opened the topic: "Not to say this. Lord Amy, the King of Sweden is missing. What should we do now?"

Amy laughed bitterly: "How could I know."

While waiting for reinforcements to arrive, Amy had sent many people to find Ella. However, the influence of the Pirate Kingdom in the Almany Federation is really limited, and with them alone, there is little hope to find Ella.

To find someone in the huge Almany Federation, you must rely on the connections between the nobles and merchants in the Almany Federation. But if this is the case, it would be equivalent to leaking the information about Ella's disappearance to the Almany Federation. The Almany Federation may not help, and may even imprison and kill her after finding Ella.

Amy also considered threatening with war. But if the consul of the Almany Federation was tough, this threat would probably only have a counterproductive effect and put Ella in a more dangerous situation. Even if the consul succumb to pressure, there would definitely be opposition parties in the Almany Federation to target Ella's life.

This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! Of course, she can also choose to resort to war directly. As long as she conquers Ella’s place and incorporates it into the management of the Pirate Kingdom, finding Ella is no longer a problem. If it still cannot be found, then continue to turn the Almani Federation into the sky - she summoned the troops to make plans for this worst case.

But from the day she had this idea, she had been having the same nightmare over and over again: the fire burned the world again and again, and she saw her ugly face again and again, and woke up again and again with screams again and again.

She was just a maid of a humble origin. She started a war, and the weight of this was far greater than she could bear.

Besides, who can predict whether the war will put Ella in a more dangerous situation?

To relax, Amy slapped his hands:

"By the way, a businessman from Hamburg City will come to visit His Majesty tomorrow. If you have a good relationship with him, you may be able to use his connections to find people. All problems may be solved!"

Graheide was a little surprised: "The merchants from Hamburg City are coming to visit? But the Swedish king is not here now..."

"Your Majesty has always wanted to establish a trade relationship with the Almani Federation, but no merchant is willing to come. After so many days, one of them finally came, so you must not miss this opportunity! I have to work hard to help her negotiate!"

Seeing Amy's expression change, Graheide understood that the girl had already placed all her hopes on the businessman she had never met.

"Since that's the case, I hope this talk will go smoothly."

Graheide picked up the cup from the table and took another sip of tea.
