1.748 Eclipse

Eclipse was originally designed as a sword, which was part of the Didra Demon Karawikus Vill. Due to design errors, or because Karawikus Vill was trapped in the sword, it gained self-awareness and eventually broke away from Karawikus Ville's control and created a body for itself. But it was trapped in Karawikus Ville's realm until it reached an agreement with Danmo's master Vuhon to provide energy for the creation of the floating city, Umbriel.

Initially, at the request of Caravelcus Vill, the witch Narnra Val (who is said to be pretending to be Shergra) created erosion to harvest the souls of the mortal world. In order to stabilize the sword, Caravelcus Vill filled some of his essence into it. This essence will exceed the will of the holder and let them be driven by it. According to some holders, their lives are to constantly satisfy their desire to fight. Some holders even call themselves "erosion" in the name of swords.

Over time, it may be the design mistakes of Carawaykus Weir and Nunra, or it may be that they have harvested too many souls. The sword gained self-awareness. It "cut a big piece" from Carawaykus Weir, making itself as powerful as Carawaykus Weir, and Carawaykus Weir himself was severely weakened. In the end, Carawaykus Weir used his entire field to fight the erosion and limit it to his own field. The erosion was hidden, waiting for the valuable holder (host) to appear.

The Shadow Sword can change its shape, but it always appears in the form of a sword, which can absorb the life and endurance of the hitter.

3E In 427, an orc warrior Eclipse was found on the hill outside the settlement of Suran on Wadenfell. The orc's only wish was to die in battle, but no one could defeat him. At his request, Nerevain defeated the orc in battle and seized Eclipse. Later that year, the sword was owned by Torasa Aram and was exhibited in the museum of the City of Sadness. Sometime later, the sword was owned by a wood elf named Lenwin in Pell's Gate, center of Sirothirs, who became bloodthirsty and began to call herself Eclipse.

3E In 433, the hero of Callawaycus Vierp, took back the erosion shadow. Barbas suggested that the hero should not bring the sword to Callawaycus Vier, foreseeing that it would bring destruction to Callawaycus Vier. But the hero returned it.

The Eclipse Shadow, who has returned, escaped from the sword body and wanted to escape from the realm of Caravelcus Vill. In the process, he cut off a large part of Caravelcus Vill's energy and seriously weakened the Demon Diedra. The Eclipse Shadow turned into the shape of a man with many eyes and hid in a city on the edge of the realm of Caravelcus Vill to avoid being trapped in the body of the sword.

In the early period of the Fourth Age, Eclipse discovered that the power of the first generation of talent (Ingenium, when Vivick mysteriously disappeared, the power to keep the meteorite Bar Dawu from falling down and smashing into the city was weakened. In order to keep it floating, the people of Vivick designed a mechanical engine called Talent, using the soul as the source of power, so that ten slaves were sacrificed every day to maintain operation) flooded into the soul in the field. If the gap was large enough, the sword body could be thrown out to alleviate the threat they were exposed. When the Ministry of Truth (the Ministry of Truth, an organization that was hollowed out by the Temple of Judgment on the Meteorite Bar Dawu, it was also a prison that imprisoned pagans) exploded, the talent was destroyed. Eclipse threw the sword body through the gap and finally fell into Vivic City, and was Elhul Sahir (Elhul)

Sathil picked it up, and he went crazy as soon as he touched the sword. At the same time, Izamar Sur and Vuhon were sucked into Karawikus Vill's realm.

Eclipse captives Izhamal Sur and Uhung, and Uhung assured Eclipse that if he was protected from his death, he would build a new talent that would tear apart Karawikus Vill’s realm and allow Eclipse to escape. Eclipse agreed, so Uhung built a second talent and created a floating city - Hell City. They merged into one person, and Uhung/Eclipse can control Hell City, and those absorbed souls will power them. Hell City even drifted in many areas and areas outside of Annihilation.

4E In 48, through the Tree of Sist, Uhon and An-Xileel (an organization that ruled the Black Swamp in the early Fourth Era) priest Hierem reached an agreement to link Hell City and the Tree of Sist to summon Tamriel. However, due to the restrictions of Karawikus Vill, they could not leave the floating city. Eclipse Shadow and Uhon tried to make the city sail towards the Platinum Tower and complete the separation from Karawikus Vill. In order to ensure safety, they decided to first drive the city to the north into the morning breeze to find Eclipse Shadow's sword body, because it could be used to destroy Eclipse Shadow and talents.

Sur and Prince Attrebus Mede defeated Elhul to get the sword body of the Shadow and used it to teleport to the Karavelhus Ville's realm. As the Shadow stole the energy of the Shadow, Karavelhus Ville and his realm were weakened. Prince Atrabus Mede tried to use the sword, but it could not be controlled without the Shadow stabilized. Prince Atrabus Mede negotiated with Karavelhus Ville and agreed to help him get the lost power in exchange for the way to the imperial capital.

Sur and Prince Atribus Mead enter Hell City, and they find that Wu Hong's body is twisted, deformed, and becomes darker. Eclipse Shadow is now completely controlling Wu Hong's body. Sur waves his sword in the battle with Wu Hong. But it has no effect on him, because his soul is in talent. In the last battle, Prince Atribus Mead is forced to use Eclipse Shadow's sword body and put it into talent. Eclipse Shadow (Sword) destroys the talent and traps Eclipse Shadow (Spirit) in the sword body. This separates Eclipse Shadow from Wu Hong and also gives Wu Hong a fatal blow.

As the outer barrier of Hell City was destroyed, Karawikus Vill was able to enter the floating city. He controlled Prince Atribus Mead and waved Eclipse Shadow to fight Sur. With one last breath left, Sur grabbed Eclipse Shadow's hilt, pulled himself to the blade, and hit him to restore his consciousness. As everything remained on Sur, he jumped to the sphere of talent, allowing himself, Eclipse Shadow, and talent to melt together into a ball of black smoke that violently released lightning.

"When we arrived, there was someone—or something waiting for us. But that wasn't Carawikus Vill. It looked like a human, very dark, with hollow eye holes. It held a sword. When we were lying there, it laughed and threw the sword into the gap we came." - Izamar Sur.

4E In 179, the Eclipse Sword mysteriously returned to Tamriel. The principle was unknown, and it might have returned to the initial unconscious situation. A treasure hunter named Cresitus fell into a hole in the sky and broke his leg, which revealed the lost Champion's Rest, which was once used as a gladiator. The dying Crestus dreamed that he was swimming in the black sea, and the Eclipse Sword was summoning him. When Crestus woke up, he found that the sword was next to him and healed his wounds. The next few days, the Eclipse Sword kept whispering to him, longing for his soul. Finally, Crestus stayed in the relic and began to call himself Eclipse.

4E In 201, a prospector from Shure Stone accidentally broke into the Breath of Champion and encountered a "whispering ghost" wielding a sword. This whispering ghost is actually the soul image of Eclipse, which can be separated from himself through will control. Later, Sdandal's alerter investigated the Breath of Champion and speculated that this was the effect of Eclipse. The leader of the alerter, Guardian Cassett, rushed here to fight Eclipse. Although the treasure hunter Crestus has powerful magic and is immune to physical damage, he was still defeated by the Guardian Cassett, who possesses the power of the magic ring.

This is the situation.

So the question is, what does the relationship between the evil man’s holy land and the Shadow Erosion Demon Sword?
