0005 Junior Durant

In two days, Su Yang traveled between Los Angeles and Portland to complete the procedures for joining the job.

The Trail Blazers offered him a contract with an annual salary of US$58,000, and he could receive a salary every half month. He was a personal scout, who was specifically responsible for examining whether a player met the needs of the team. His future promotion direction was a high scout.

Such an annual salary level is nearly twice the per capita income of the United States, but considering the characteristics of scouting work, there is almost no complete vacation time throughout the year, which is basically equivalent to the workload of two people in ordinary industries, and the salary is still a bit low.

Supervisor Bob pulled him into the SKYPE chat group of Trail Blazers scouts, General Manager Kevin Prichard was also inside, and Tom Payne who called him before, there were twelve people in total, and they could send daily reports directly.

Bob then briefly explained some precautions to him, including how to communicate with the league office, how to obtain an access permit, how to contact the university team, and also shared a guide accumulated over the years.

Su Yang carefully browsed the guide and found that there was a specific problem involving which hotel around the airport that had the best taste of early coffee. There were more than ten methods of redemption of credit card points. The most exaggerated thing was that there were actually a guide to preventing robbery by taxis.

Bob solemnly warned Su Yang that robbery is only a trivial matter when going to areas with high crime rates. After all, except drug dealers and RAPPER singers, few people will carry a lot of cash on them, and what is even more terrifying is other things.

Su Yang couldn't help but think of the scene of being blocked in the alley by several strong men, which was indeed scary.

In addition to various precautions, Bob also emphasized that in addition to inspecting players, another important thing in scouting work is to know more people and establish more personal relationships, because there are both competition and cooperation among scouts in various teams.

Sometimes, a phone call can solve the big trouble of flying thousands of kilometers long distances.

Therefore, multiple friends have multiple paths.

On the 27th, the scouting department held a conference call. General Manager Kevin announced the official launch of the work plan for the last stage of the rookie inspection in 2007. Su Yang got the task to go to Orlando training camp and collect basic information first.

As for Bobs and others, they have to participate in private training camps for some high-level players first. Those high-level rookies are unwilling to participate in the league's confrontation tests, and at most they can test their physical data or show their shooting level.

Only when Su Yang collects various information will Bob and others arrive in Orlando for detailed screening.

According to the plan, this rookie training camp mainly examines power forward players and shooting guards, with the goal of finding suitable substitutes for Aldridge and Roy, with the priority of fighting power, because it is time for the Trail Blazers to make some results.

At noon on the 28th, Su Yang walked out of Orlando International Airport and felt the heat wave was so urgent.

I took a taxi to the hotel designated by the team to cooperate with, put my luggage, took a shower and had a meal. After a while, he called a car and headed straight to the World Sports Training Hall. As soon as he got off the car, he saw a group of big men queuing up for security checks.

In the queue, Durant waited with his hips on his hips, looking up at the sky from time to time, as if he was very impatient.

Seeing this, Su Yang couldn't help but sigh: "It's so green, what a pure face!"

It is hard to believe that Durant in this way would actually grow into a generation of death and Twitter madman.

Immediately afterwards, Durant sideways dynamic data, jumping 66 cm on the spot, jumping 88 cm on the run, running back and forth in the penalty area for 12.33 seconds, and running 3.45 seconds in the 3/4 sprint. Compared with the previous rookies, all the data are very wide.

"Last item, 84 kg bench press."

The staff spoke out to remind Durant lying on the chair with a reluctant face.

"Let's get started."

"Ah...ah..." Durant made a struggle voice, but he tried for a long time but failed.

"Hahaha!" Several physical trainers laughed wildly, and were amazed that they didn't push any of them up.

Durant hurriedly put down the barbell and walked towards the exit with an awkward face, as if he was escaping from the scene of the disaster.
