Chapter 151: Zhao Ji grading papers

Chapter 151: Zhao Ji reviews the paper

Zhao Ji was just picking up the first test paper and was about to read it. At this moment, an eunuch came to report and said, "The Third Prince asked for a meeting."

Zhao Ji smiled slightly, raised his eyes and said, "Kai'er is here just right, teach him to come in."

After a while, Zhao Kai walked in, wearing a snow-white shirt, under his sword eyebrows that were neither thick nor light, his narrow eyes were like gurgling spring water, and as warm as the spring breeze.

Zhao Kai entered Wenjing Pavilion, neither too restrained nor too arrogant. He just bowed to Zhao Ji, said to the emperor, then walked to the imperial desk, and smiled and said, "It seems that my son is not too late, ha, I didn't expect that Eunuch Yang will send the test papers."

Yang Jian quickly smiled and said, "The third prince praised it, but I am ashamed of it."

Zhao Ji smiled. He had many sons, but few were close to him. When the other princes saw him, they were like mice and cats. They were all frightened and trembled when they answered. They were full of flattery. Only Zhao Kai had a brilliant literary talent, and his calligraphy and painting were also unique. He had his own style. When he saw himself, he answered in a flowing manner. He was neither disrespectful to his father nor was he too cautious.

A kind look on Zhao Ji's face appeared, and he greeted Zhao Kai: "Kai'er, sit down and talk, and we will check the papers together, and find the top three names in the Imperial College and the Imperial College."

Yang Jian quickly brought a Jindun for Zhao Kai. Zhao Kai sat down and thanked Yang Jian. His eyes were inconsistent, and he always had a reserved smile, which made Yang Jian flattered and said quickly: "The third son of the emperor is too polite, how can a servant afford it?"

Zhao Kai sat down and said straightforwardly: "Father, the child is looking at this test paper, but he is coming for Shen Ao. I wonder if Shen Ao's test paper has been brought?"

Yang Jian laughed and said, "I brought it, it's the most important part."

Zhao Ji smiled: "Kai'er is a person who knows the goods. Okay, you can see Shen Ao's paper first."

Zhao Ji took out the test papers stored by Shen Ao from the bottom and handed them to Zhao Kai. Then he picked up the first paper and continued to read them.

Zhao Ji frowned, and the first paper was written by Wu. He suddenly raised his eyes: "Would that Wu Bi be the youngest son of the host and guest doctor of the Ministry of Rites?"

Zhao Ji asked calmly, and Yang Jian hurriedly said, "That's right, the official family summoned him a few days ago."

Zhao Ji sighed and said, "The tiger father has no dog son. This Wu pen is well written and written in writing. His father is also very good, and it has been difficult for him recently."

Yang Jian silently went to pour tea for Zhao Ji and Zhao Kai, and served the side carefully.

Zhao Ji continued to read the book, couldn't help but say good words several times, and said for a while: "Cheng Hui really lives up to my expectations. His sutra is a masterpiece. I am afraid that even Jie Fu is still impressed."

Jiefu is Wang Anshi's nickname. Wang Anshi advocated the meaning of the classics to select scholars. Naturally, his first-hand classics were very good, so many students in later generations copied his examples and figured out the essence of it. Zhao Ji compared Cheng Hui's classics to Wang Anshi, and even Zhao Kai, who was watching Shen Ao's test papers, could not help but move.

Then, Zhao Ji said with some loss: "It's a pity that Cheng Hui's poems and essays have not improved, and there is no point in scrutiny, otherwise this person will definitely be the first."

Yang Jian smiled and said, "It's strange that the Imperial College is good at writing poetry and the Imperial College is good at writing classics. The slave also heard a joke in the public saying that it was a scholar who was scolded by his wife because of his poor qualifications. His wife said this: What book did you read, write poetry from the Imperial College, and the Imperial College is good at wearing a silk scarf to show off..."

Both Zhao Ji and Zhao Kai couldn't help laughing, and Zhao Ji said, "You servant, you are just smart."

Yang Jian smiled and said, "The official said this wrongly accuses the slave. The servants serve the official without knowing how to write poetry or read any scriptures. As long as the official is more comfortable, the servant will be satisfied."

This sentence was answered very appropriately, not only showing his loyalty to himself, but also blocking Zhao Ji's laughter and blame.

Zhao Kai smiled and said, "It would be great if Eunuch Yang can have this kind of heart."

The two continued to read the papers. Zhao Ji read them very quickly. In a moment, more than a dozen papers were evaluated almost exactly. He stroked his beard and said, "My Song Qingjun is indeed extraordinary. These test papers are all excellent works."

When he glanced at Zhao Kai, he looked at Chen Ao's paper with a confused look on his face, and said, "Kai'er, what is the meaning of Chen Ao's poems and lyrics?"

After calling him several times, Zhao Kai came to his senses and nodded blankly, raised his eyes, but there were tears in the corners of his eyes.

Zhao Ji was secretly surprised and said, "Kai'er, come and show me the test paper."

Zhao Kai was excited and handed the test paper to Zhao Ji. Zhao Ji was quite excited. It was amazing that the test paper that could make Kai'er lose his composure. He focused on reading the meaning of the scriptures first.

"The ancients regarded this as etiquette as etiquette, but I must now use it, which may not be consistent with the etiquette of the ancients; the ancients regarded this as etiquette as etiquette, but I must now use it, which may not be consistent with the etiquette of the ancients'

Seeing this topic, Zhao Ji couldn't help but help the case and said, "It's quite interesting to start the topic like this and has a unique heart."

Then I continued to read. The whole text is based on the rules and distance. The whole text revolves around the topic, and the format is flawless. Zhao Ji couldn't help laughing: "Chen Ao is a slippery person. The meaning of the scripture is his weakness. I don't know where to learn it, so I can come up with such an article."

If you want to talk about the meaning of this sutra, it is really not leaking, it is not airtight, and you can't find any mistakes. However, after reading a piece of article, Zhao Ji always felt that Chen Ao had written so much, except for this topic, the rest was all nonsense.

The strangest thing is that he knew he was nonsense, but he could not make any mistakes. The reason is that it makes sense. Although there are some shocking words, it is still pointed out again. After a change of writing style, he went to be benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trustworthiness.

If you say that such a scripture is not sloppy, it is really unreasonable.

Zhao Kai said: "It is said that before Chen Ao entered the Imperial College, he had not even read the Four Books and Five Classics. It was shocking to be able to make such a classic meaning in only half a year."

Zhao Jihe nodded, and couldn't help but think: "Kai'er seems to be quite interested in Chen Ao, but he is afraid that he has specially sent a doctor to ask Chen Ao for his studies." Then he smiled and said, "When I think of this slippery head, I think of the four words shocking and shocking. Only he can do such a meaning."

I continued to look at the poem. The title of the poem was "Lovesickness". This topic has stumped many students, especially scholars like Cheng Hui. They study hard all day long, and their knowledge is naturally first-class. However, they only remember to study, but they omitted the matter of loving men and women.

Without men and women's love, how can we talk about lovesickness? Therefore, Cheng Hui lost his hooves in front of the formation this time, and the classics were very well written. Even Zhao Ji was moved by it, but the poems and essays did not fall into Zhao Ji's eyes.

The Ministry of Rites’ topic selection officers are very smart. This time, the topic was launched, and the hard-working poor scholars didn’t know what lovesickness was. They were the students of the Imperial College. Although they had rich emotions and high emotional intelligence, they were hindering their writing. They usually wrote ambiguous words, but they were very good at writing, but this was an exam, and the people who were marking the papers were all officials. Usually, doctors and officials had a stern face. Who dared to write too ambiguously in front of them?

Therefore, the poems and classics in these more than ten pieces are written very well, but none of them can touch people's hearts. Although the rhetoric is full of prosperity, there is less of a little thrilling thing.

Zhao Ji was quite indifferent and placed his last hope on Chen Ao's test paper. When he saw this, he was stunned and murmured: "What is love in the world? It is to teach you life and death to agree with each other. OK, good..." Although this beginning is simple, it is catchy, and it reveals the meaning of lovesickness in one mouth and directly denounces people's hearts.

Looking further down, the whole lyrics read: "The two flying guests from all over the world, the old wings have several cold and heat. The joy and the pain of parting are even more foolish children. You should have words, the clouds are vast, the snow of thousands of mountains and the snow of the evening, and only the shadows are towards whom.

The road across Fen is lonely, and the flute drums and the deserted smoke is still flat. Why do you sigh at Chu? The ghosts in the mountains cry in the dark and wind and rain. The sky is jealous, and the orioles and swallows are all yellow earth. For the past thousands of years, in order to stay with the poet, I sing and drink wildly, and visit Yanqiu."

Zhao Ji stared at the test paper silently, his mind unpredictable.

At the beginning of the Ci, I suddenly asked a strange question and came out of the air. The name of this Ci is "Yanqiu Ci",

I originally thought that since it was the title of geese, the opening chapter was about geese, but the poem was written first from the "world", imitating geese with people, giving geese feelings a meaning beyond nature, and the imagination was extremely novel. I also wrote about geese as a pre-print for the following text.

At the extreme of love, "the living can die, and the dead can live." What an extreme affection is "the promise of life and death"!

Then the second sentence, the pen turns to describe the two geese. "The world and the earth" go south to overwinter in winter and return north in spring, and stay together in "several cold and heat", rely on each other for life, and have deep love. There is both joyful reunion and the bitterness of parting, but no power can separate them. After "the net is shocked and the dream of breaking the two-dwelling dream", the lover has passed away, how can he live alone! So the "those who break the net" made up his mind to follow the nine springs and "death himself".

This is a very small story, but behind the story there is a heart-wrenching feeling.

Then the poem began to change again, using the surrounding scenery to set off the misery of the wild geese after they died in love. Where the lonely geese were sleeping, when Emperor Wu of Han crossed the Fen River to worship Fenyin, the flutes and drums were noisy and the oars were singing everywhere; now the plain forest is deserted, the deserted smoke is weaving, and the sound of the flutes and drums is gone, and the scene is bleak. In ancient and modern times, people and geese feel the harshness of the wild geese committing love. However, the dead cannot be resurrected, and the soul is useless to summon the mountain ghosts cry out in vain. Here, the description of scenery and love are integrated, which further increases the tragic atmosphere.

At the end of the poem, it is a praise for the love-loving geese. It refers to the death of the geese. Its realm is so high that the heaven will be jealous. Although it cannot be said to be more important than Mount Tai, it cannot be returned to the loess like the death of the oriole and swallow. Its famous general, "forever forever", was chanted and praised by later poets.
