Chapter 91 Night Owl

“Not now.”

The Arab took a step back and let the samurai blade pass through the tip of his nose, cutting the delicately-treated beard.

This sword is just a deterrent, and both sides know this. Als Al Goul has no intention of fighting to the death, and Death Knell will not fight with such a difficult opponent without receiving a commission.

Sure enough, the two of them were about to part with each other. The death knives were lifted and returned to the sheath, retreating back to the depths of the alley, staring at the assassin leader.

"Just tell me that the people in the snow in the suburbs were sent by that force," the Arabs pinched the cuffs of their suits and said calmly: "Since our goals are consistent, this request should be met."

"A consistent goal does not mean we are allies." Death Killer smiled sinisterly: "And it is very likely that my employer will not welcome people like you to go to Gotham..."

Before he finished speaking, ten figures jumped down from the rooftop.

They were all wearing pitch-black hoods, ink cloaks, and their opaque masks were decorated with glasses that looked like night owls.

A sudden realization flashed in Als Al Goul's eyes. He knew the identities of these people.

Beware the Court of Owls, that watches all the time,

Beware of the Owl Court and monitor your travels at all times.

Ruling Gotham from a shadowed perch, behind granite and lime.

I secretly peeked into Gotham City, hiding among the low-walled lofts.

They watch you at your heartth, they watch you in your bed.

He lives at home with him, and he also lives in bed and bed.

Speak not a whispered word about them, or they'll send the Talon for your head.

Wanmo mentioned his name and his sharp claws looked for your head.

This nursery rhyme tells the legend that a group of mysterious people named Owl Court ruled Gotham City in the dark, using killers named Claws to implement their will.

These killers are strictly trained to hide in secret bases spread all over Gotham City. Whenever necessary, the claws will kill all those who violate the court rulers.

Batman has long been the only obstacle to stop them from taking over Gotham, but now, the Dark Knight is dead.

The barrier has disappeared.

"I didn't expect that these night owls hired you." The assassin leader knew and said to Death Knell in the corner: "When did you get along with these people?"

"I don't care about the identity of the employer, as long as someone pays the bill." Death Bell said: "Unfortunately, there is no one who has bid higher than the Owl Court for the time being."

"Good evening, Mr. Als Al Goul." Some of the Owl's claws spoke, "I heard you want to destroy Gotham?"

The Arab spread his hands and sighed, "It seems that I was not the time."

"Indeed." The sharp claws surrounded the assassin leader, and countless blades were aimed at the Arabs' vitals. "If you take your people away, maybe we can live in harmony."

"Put your knife away." The assassin leader was calm and did not even shake his eyelashes. "Ask your master, ask if he wants to be bombed into the sky with the entire manor in a few minutes."

The sharp claw's pupils suddenly contracted, and the blade in his hand was pulled out with a "scarlet" and placed it on the Arab's neck.

The blade was pressed against the skin, and the assassin leader said calmly: "I can't destroy Gotham, but I want to participate in this operation against human slaughter."

"Why?"

"The Owl Court targeted the slaughter of man to erase the instability in Gotham City," the assassin leader stretched out his finger and pushed away the blade. "And I, I, want to see the true appearance of the person who can kill Batman."

The Owl Court noticed the Man-Slayer who killed Batman and stared in secret at the Man-Slayer's struggle with Hydra.

Although he doesn't like the small moves of Hydra sneaking and trying to invade Gotham, the Owl Court doesn't want such a completely uncontrollable butcher in their city who has no rules of action.

The Owl's Claw thought for a moment and said, "That's all?"

"So far, that's right." The assassin leader gave in and said: "You can't get any benefit from him anyway, right? And he is not that easy to deal with. He can kill all the entire fully armed Hydra elite squad with a fire axe, and also capture Baron Strak's existence, which is beyond the scope of the Owl Court's response."

After saying that, the Arabs curled their lips at the corner of Death Knitt and said, "Or there would be no need for you to spend a lot of money to invite him to come and press the formation, right?"

Lizard was silent. It took him a long time to get a reminder from the upper level from the intercom headphones, "You can participate in this operation, but the Assassin Alliance cannot take the lead, and you cannot take the slaughter or his body afterwards."

"Trade." Als Al Goul smiled rare and walked straight to the end of the alley. Before stepping into the neon lights, he turned around and smiled at the owls and said, "I have a premonition that he will come tonight."

Death Knell asked, “How can I see it?”

"…..." The Assassin Chief sighed and said in a poet's aria: "Diekknell, maybe you are the best among the assassins, proficient in tactics, fighting, strategy, planning, but you don't have that intuition, the intuition of the slaughter."

Just as Death Knell was about to retort, he heard Als Al Goul say expressionlessly: "I have lived for hundreds of thousands of years, and the enemies I have killed with my own hands are ten times as many as yours. Do you know the biggest characteristics of a person slaughter?"

No one responded,

The assassin's leader stretched out his finger and bounced away the candy crumbs left by the child in the suit, adding indifferently to the second half, "It doesn't matter."

Death Knell narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, as if he had thought of something.

Ars Al Goul continued: "A butcher will not care about the movements of livestock, struggle, cry, shout, beg for mercy. These behaviors are meaningless in the eyes of human slaughter."

"Sorry, I'm not a livestock." Death knell said with a contemptuous smile: "And these owls will not regard themselves as poor people who are slaughtering their necks inside the fence."

The assassin's gaze was not at all warm. He just stared at the death knell, as if he wanted to see through the dirty soul hidden beneath through the armor.

"I have seen the photos of the massacre of the Richard Sapa family in the Gotham police system," the Arab said. "For human slaughter, creating enemies, searching for enemies, and killing them, these three steps can be completed together, and efficiency is the first priority. Maybe at this moment, he has sharpened his knife and is ready to paint this Christmas with unscrubbable blood."

Unexplained depression came here, and everyone not only raised their heads, but also stared at the gloomy sky.

There was no shadow of the bat lamp in the clouds.
