Chapter 22 Who is the Murderer

Under Megu's instructions, several police officers launched a further transcript investigation.

The first person who was taken into the room by the police alone was the village chief Heiyan. During this period of the morning, he had been sleeping at home and had never left the house between five and six o'clock.

Next was his daughter Reiko Kuroiwa, who also did not go out at home between five and six o'clock, and her husband Murazawa Shibuchi was accompanied by her.

During this period, Shimizu Masato also worked from home, but lacked direct witnesses. Village chief assistant Kazuaki Hirata and Ken Nishimoto both had relevant absentee certificates.

When he arrived at the last person to be investigated, Kawashima, the richest entrepreneur in the village, also provided his absenteeism, and many people proved that he was absent. Because around five o'clock, he kept spending time with a few old friends, and the place for morning exercise was a park where he had to walk twenty minutes from the clinic.

"The police department, the alibi certificate they provided has been arranged to verify." A police officer handed over the relevant information in the transcript to Megu.

Meguchi took a rough look and found that among the seven suspects, no one testified that only Shimizu Masato was not present at the time.

......

In front of the vending machine not far from the clinic, Kuroiwa Village Chief and Kawashima looked bad.

"Kiyao, do you know now that this doctor is Keiji Aso then?" Kawashima sneered and whispered to Kuiyao with a shocked face.

Heiyan clamped his fists and his voice was cold: "Tell me this, what is it to prove?"

"The secret of the past, as long as you and I keep your mouth shut, I think no one will know." Kawashima took a sip of the coffee he just bought and looked at Heiyan, who was worried about the story of the matter with contempt.

Kuroyan snorted coldly: "Kawashima, Keiji Aso's son, could you kill him?"

"What are you talking about?" Kawashima continued: "If you talk about the motive for killing him, I think you have always been worried that the village chief will not be protected, so you care more about this, right?"

"Bastard." The village chief of Kuroiyao was angry when he saw that Kawashima didn't take him seriously at all.

Kawashima smiled: "Don't worry, no matter who the murderer is, the things that happened back then will be broken in my memory. Because I don't want to, someone knows the real cause of Keiji Aso."

What the two of them didn't know was that at the corner next to the vending machine, Conan carefully hid his body and listened to the conversation between them.

......

After careful examination of Aso's honest body, Ogata found that the scalpel wound on his chest, the degree of rolling of flesh, and the depth of the piercing seemed to be a little strange.

Although the scalpel is inserted directly into the heart, such a method of committing crimes can directly kill people, the dry and solidified blood on the floor cannot form a complete spray range with the injuries on Aso's chest.

"The blood here, and the blood here..." Okabaya glanced over the places stained with blood, and a macro structural diagram had been formed in his mind.

The area, position and angle of the blood sprayed to form the distance and posture between the murderer and the deceased at that time. This is Okara's talent that is easier for other forensic doctors to outline the scene in his mind.

Okabaya carefully checked the fatal injury and some traces on the surface of Aso's honest skin. He was serious enough, so the coroner beside him just helped him record some data, and did not interrupt his thinking.

Although it was a direct injury to penetrate the heart, the corpse was a bit strange...

"Sorry, can you let me see the scalpel that stabbed the deceased?" Okao stood up and asked a police officer who collected physical evidence at the scene.

When the police saw that Okara, who used forensic reasoning to find the murderer in the art gallery last time, nodded and handed him a scalpel sealed with a plastic bag.

Okara put the scalpel in front of her eyes. Its shape and sharpness seemed to appear in her eyes. What echoed in her mind was the wound that had just been deeply imprinted into her mind.

"Huh?" Okao suddenly thought of something. After returning the murder weapon to the police, he returned to the front of Aso's honest body and squatted down. He opened the eyes of the deceased Macheng.

His heart thumped, and looking at these eyes, Okata seemed to understand something. In the surprised eyes of the coroner beside him, he began to look for the answer he had confirmed from the corpse.

......

"Who is the murderer?" Conan returned to the clinic and looked at the seven suspects involved in the murder case. He found that everyone was very calm and no one showed any traces.

He turned his eyes to Okara, who had been busy with autopsy work. The man found the murderer one step ahead of him in the last art museum case. Although he didn't say it, his competitive nature made him pay special attention to the investigation of this case.

Looking at Xiaolan who had been staring at Okata, Conan knew that this time he must be ahead of him and find the murderer!

"Police Department, we found this at the scene." A police officer handed Megumi a magazine with many words cut off by a knife.

When Kogoro Mouri saw this magazine with many words poached, his eyes lit up: "Officer Meguri, as I said, this letter was indeed mailed to me by the deceased."

Megu took Maori's letter and carefully compared it, and found that the content was exactly consistent with the excavated ones.

"The police department, based on the information we have investigated, ten hours before the incident, the deceased seemed to be with Mr. Okata who was inspecting the body." A subordinate reported.

Oh? Meguchi asked Maori strangely: "Have this kid named Okara known to the deceased for a long time?"

"We just met Dr. Asai after we came to this island." Kogoro Mouri replied.

Megu saw the notes from the investigation that stated that during the process of everyone participating in the former village chief's ritual last night, Aso honestly played the piano that his father left at the Civil Affairs Center.

And Yusuke Okata was present at that time.

"It's getting late, tell Mr. Yikawa to finish the autopsy work as soon as possible." Meguru glanced at the time on his watch and said to his subordinates.

Mr. Yikawa, whom he mentioned, is the coroner responsible for the autopsy work in the search department. In today's Japan, although forensic workers do not have the right to drive, their status is more respected than ordinary policemen.

Because an excellent forensic worker is the key to solving the case and the most important part of the investigation at the scene.

So although Megu is a police department, he respects the work of forensic doctors very much. This is also the reason why he was happy after hearing that Okayama was a forensic doctor who graduated from Columbia University!
