Chapter 8 The New Era(1/2)

Wow!

The wind was howling and the rain was pouring, and the three-masted sailboats were undulating among the wave "peaks" after wave, like toys that were thrown away by giants, caught and thrown away.

Alger Wilson's eyes faded away and he found himself still standing on the deck, no difference from before.

Immediately afterwards, he saw the strange-shaped glass bottle in his palm breaking, frost and snow melting into water, and raindrops merged into it.

In just two or three seconds, this ancient strange object completely lost its traces of existence.

A hexagonal crystal snowflake appeared in the palm of Alger's palm, and then quickly faded until it disappeared, as if it had contracted into flesh and blood.

Alger nodded as if he was thinking about something and was silent for five minutes.

He turned around and walked towards the entrance of the cabin. Just as he was about to enter the door, he met a man in a robe embroidered with lightning patterns.

The man with soft yellow hair stopped, looked at Alger, stretched out his right hand, clenched his fist and put it on his chest:

"The storm is with you."

"The storm is with you." Alger's rough and profound face did not have any unnecessary emotions, and he also clenched his right fist and hit his left chest.

After saluting each other, Alger entered the cabin and walked along the aisle to the captain's room in the distance.

Along the way, he never encountered any sailors or crew members again, and it was as quiet as inside a grave.

The captain's office door opened, and a soft and thick dark brown carpet appeared in front of him. On both sides were bookshelf and wine cabinet. Books with yellow covers and bottles of dark red wine were shining with strange luster under the glow of candles.

On the desk where the candles are placed, there is a bottle of ink, a quill, a black metal telescope, and a sextant made of brass.

Behind the desk, a middle-aged man wearing a skeleton captain's hat and pale face looked at Alger step by step and gritted his teeth angrily:

"I won't surrender!"

"I believe you can do it." Alger calmly seemed to say that the weather was not very good today.

"You..." The middle-aged man was stunned for a moment, as if he hadn't expected this answer.

At this moment, Alger's body arched slightly and suddenly rushed forward, instantly narrowing the distance between the two of them so that only the desk was left.

Bang!

His shoulders tightened, his right hand suddenly poked out, and he pinched the middle-aged man's throat.

Without giving the other party a chance to react, illusory fish scales appeared on the back of his hand, and his five fingers exerted force frantically.

Snap!

In the crisp sound, the middle-aged man's eyes were shocked and his body was lifted up.

His feet twitched violently, but soon returned to calm. His vision was blank, his pupils began to diverge, and his crotch gradually became wet, and a foul odor came out.

Alger raised the middle-aged man, leaned down his back, and stepped away with his feet, approaching the wall next to him.

Bang! He used the middle-aged man as a shield and rushed forward with his arms as thick as a monster.

The wooden walls shattered in response to the sound, and the violent storm swept in with the fishy tide of the sea.

Alger twisted his waist and waved his back, threw the middle-aged man out of the cabin, and threw it into the huge waves like a mountain.

The sky is dark, the wind and rain are howling, and the power of nature burys everything.

Alger took out a white handkerchief, wiped his right palm carefully, and then threw it into the sea.

After taking a few steps back, he waited patiently for his companions to enter.

"What's wrong?" In less than ten seconds, the man with soft yellow hair rushed in.

"The Captain" escaped." Alger gasped and replied in annoyedly, "He actually retained some extraordinary power!"

"Damn it!" The yellow-haired man cursed in a low voice.

He came to the trench and looked into the distance, but he could not see anything except the wind, rain and waves.

"Forget it, he's just accompaniment." The yellow-haired man waved his arm, "We will only have a contribution to finding this ghost ship from the Tuduo era."

Even if he is a lover of the sea, he dare not dive into the water rashly in such weather.

"And if the storm continues, the 'captain' will not last long." Alger nodded and found that the break on the wooden wall began to squirm and recover at a speed visible to the naked eye.

He glanced deeply, turned his head subconsciously, and looked at the position of the rudder and sails.

Even though he was separated by a lot of wooden boards, he could clearly know what was going on there.

There is no first mate, no second mate, no crew, no sailor, and even no living person!

There was nothing there, and the rudder and sail were adjusting themselves strangely.

The "fool" covered in gray mist appeared in his mind again, and Alger suddenly sighed.

He turned his head and looked at the strong wind and waves outside, and said in a dreamy tone that was both expectant and fearful:

"A new era has begun..."

…………

The capital of the Kingdom of Roone, Beckland, Queens.

Audrey Hall pinched her cheeks, unable to believe what happened just now.

On the dressing table in front of her, the ancient bronze mirror was broken into pieces.

As his eyes moved down, Audrey saw a "deep red" flowing on the back of his hand, like a star "tattoo".

The "Crimson Red" gradually faded, and eventually hid in the skin and disappeared.

It was not until this time that Audrey was sure that she was not dreaming.

Her eyes were flowing, and the corners of her mouth were slightly raised. She couldn't help but stand up and bent down to lift the hem of her skirt.

After saluting the air, Audrey's steps were light and her body turned, and she danced the most popular "Ancient Elf Dance" in the palace nowadays.

Her figure was graceful, and her face was full of bright smiles.

Dongdongdongdongdongdongdong! The bedroom door was suddenly knocked.

"Who?" Audrey stopped and put on a gentle pose.

"Miss, can you come in? It's time for you to prepare." The personal maid asked outside the door.

Audrey turned her head and looked at the mirror on the dressing table, quickly retracting her smile, leaving only a slight touch.

She looked left and right, and then said softly after confirming that there was no problem with her image:

"Come in."

Twisted her hand, and her close maid, Anne, pushed the door open and entered.

"Oh, it's broken..." Annie saw the end of the ancient bronze mirror at a glance.

Audrey blinked and said slowly:

"Uh, yeah, um, Susie has come in before, you know, it always likes to spoil!"

Susie is a golden retriever with a less pure bloodline. She was a gift from her father, Earl Hall, when she bought the foxhound, but was very popular with Audrey.

"You have to teach it a lesson." Anne carefully packed up the fragments of the bronze mirror, afraid that she would hurt the lady.

After doing all this, she looked at Audrey and asked with a smile:

"Which skirt do you want to wear?"

Audrey thought for a moment, "I like the one Mrs. Ginia designed for my seventeenth birthday."

"No, others will say whether the Hall family has encountered a financial crisis. A skirt is actually worn on a formal occasion for the second time!" Annie shook her head and denied.

"But I really like it." Audrey emphasized in a gentle tone.

"You can wear it at home, on less formal occasions." Anne put on an unconventional attitude about this matter.

"Then the one that Mr. Seides sent him the day before yesterday, the cuffs were ruffled." Audrey took a secret breath and maintained her elegant and sweet smile.

"Your eyes are always so good." Anne smiled and took a step back, shouting to the door, "Cloakroom No. 6, forget it, I'll get it myself."

The maids began to get busy, one was responsible for long skirts, one was responsible for jewelry, one was responsible for shoes, one was responsible for gauze hats, one was responsible for Miss Audrey's makeup, and one was considering hairstyle.

As the preparations came to an end, Count Hall, wearing a dark brown vest, appeared at the door.

He wore a topper of the same color, with two beautiful mustaches, his blue eyes were full of smiles, but his loose muscles, his bulging belly, and his beginnings of obvious nasolabial folds all ruthlessly destroyed his handsomeness when he was young.

"We should set off for the most dazzling gem of Beckland." Earl Hall stood at the entrance and knocked on the open door twice.

"Dad, don't call me that." Audrey stood up with the help of the maid, deliberately showing a look of distress.

"Then my beautiful little princess, it's time to set off." Earl Hall bent his left arm and signaled Audrey to take it.

Audrey smiled and shook her head:

"This is the position of Mrs. Hall, Countess, my dear mother."

"Then here." Earl Hall smiled and bent his right arm, "This is the pride of being a father."
