Chapter 40 The place where the dream begins(1/2)

After returning to the real world, Alger patiently waited for the task mentioned by Mr. "The Fool".

On this day, wearing pope clothes and a silver and black mask, he was discussing with the God's envoy Danitz about the matter inside the Sea God Church when he suddenly saw a bishop coming in.

"Under the Pope's crown, the Church of Storm sent two gifts to congratulate you on being the operative of God." The bishop held a box made of white tin and saluted respectfully.

Danitz, who had been secretly glad that Baiyam's telegram line had malfunctioned before, blurted out in surprise when he heard this:

"Where is that messenger?"

"He left the gift and left." The bishop at the door replied helplessly.

Although people in the Storm Church often have times of irritability and impulse, behavior like this is still quite rare.

Alger nodded gently and said:

"It is enough for them to lose their hostility to send gifts to us."

After saying that, he raised his right hand and grabbed it gently, causing the white tin box in the bishop's palm to be swept up by the wind and flew over.

After taking the small box, Alger's movements suddenly slowed down a little, as if he felt the heavy weight.

He opened the container bit by bit and saw a roll of books bound from brown parchment.

On the surface of the book, a line of words is written in elves:

"Book of Natural Disasters."

"Book of Natural Disasters"... After seeing this line of words clearly, Alger was in a daze and felt like he was dreaming.

But soon, he understood that this was true and what the task Mr. Fool said was.

Alger sighed silently, looked at the bishop at the door and said:

“What is the second gift?”

"It is a ghost ship called the 'Normal Avengers', which has been parked in the port." The bishop replied without realizing any abnormality.

"The Blue Avenger"... When Danitz heard this name, he instinctively turned his attention to Pope Arger next to him.

He remembered it very clearly that this was the ship of the other party when he was a pirate.

This means that the Church of Storm knows that the Pope of the Church of the Sea Gods was their former cardinal!

Is this congratulations or a letter of war? While Danitz's heart tightened, he found another gift he was quite familiar with:

That was the extremely evil Book of God's Disaster that he had seen when he followed German Sparrow.

"Reply a letter to the Storm Church for me, thank them for their gifts." Alger had calmed down and ordered calmly.

When the bishop left the room, he turned to Daniz and said:

"I have received the oracle of Mr. Fool, and will complete a task next, and may not return in a few years."

"Oracle?" Danitz blurted out in surprise.

At this moment, only one thought echoed in his mind:

Why don't I know?

Alger nodded:

"Mr. 'Follower' is about to enter a deep sleep.

"However, this does not affect your prayers to receive a response."

"..." Danitz was so shocked that he couldn't speak.

Alger continued:

"German Sparo also fell asleep.

"When I leave, the affairs of the church will be handed over to Elder Derrick Berg of the New Silver City. You need to cooperate with him and write the matter of the Sea God as the "fool" from God into the classics, so that all believers can accept it.

"Our faith is the key to the awakening of Mr. Fool. You are His messenger and you must set an example in this regard.

"Of course, He may give you new oracles at any time and give you other tasks."

Danitz felt a little dizzy and confused when he heard it, but he still understood the seriousness of the matter.

He hesitated for a moment and said with a heavy emphasis:

"good."

After explaining this, Alger stood up, took the Book of Disasters and returned to his room.

He looked at himself in the mirror, laughed, slowly took off the triple crown above his head, and took off the silver and black mask from his face.

A few days later, at the Bayam Harbour, on the crowded dock.

Alger raised his head, looked at the "Sun" Derrick, who was much taller than himself, and said with a smile:

"You have done a good job during this period, and the Sea God Church is operating normally."

Derrick subconsciously wanted to raise his hand and scratch the back of his head, but he finally endured it and said with a little melancholy and reluctance:

"Down, Wilson's crown, when will you be able to come back?"

Alger shook his head and said:

"Everything ahead is unknown, no one can tell it clearly."

Without waiting for Derrick Berg to respond, he turned to say:

"You are mature and steady enough, I have nothing to remind you."

Speaking of this, Alger paused for a moment and said:

"If the Rosd Islands encounter irresistible disasters, don't sacrifice yourself to protect them."

"Ah?" Delic was stunned.

This is the most important place of faith for Mr. Fool, and it is the new hometown of Baiyin City. How can you give up like that?

Alger had already anticipated Derrick's reaction and explained a few words with a serious expression:

"For Mr. Fool, the most important thing is the believers here, not these islands, and for Silver City, the most important thing is the people, not the cities.

"As long as we can protect the believers of Mr. Fool, protect the people of Silver City, and transfer them in time, even if we lose Byyam, the new Silver City, and the Rosd Islands, we can rebuild new cities and new homes elsewhere at any time.

"Remember, don't harm substance for the sake of form."

Derrick was deeply touched by the hearing and grasped the key to the problem.

He responded sincerely:

"I understand, thank you, Wilson, I will protect the followers of Mr. Fool and the people here."

Alger stopped talking, turned his body and walked towards the "Niu Blue Avenger" stopping at this pier.

This ghost ship is still a three-masted sailboat form that lags behind the times, and has no change compared to before.

Alger looked at it, looked at the crew members on the deck, and suddenly felt something and looked down at himself.

He wore a linen shirt, brown jacket and locally popular wide-leg pants, and a specially made belt around his waist, a short knife and a short staff made of white bones.

Alger's mouth curled up slightly, and he took a step forward, and he rose and fell on the deck of the "Niu Blue Avengers".

He then turned his head and looked at the blue sea that could not see the edge, raised his right hand, and said in a deep voice:

"Stay!"

…………

Beckland, Queens, Hall's luxury villa.

Audrey sat on the comfortable sofa, watching her father Earl Hall and her brother Hibert, Alfred discussing the recent situation and developments of the kingdom, and watching her mother Mrs. Caitlyn convene the housekeepers and deacons to do her final busyness for the upcoming dance party.

She didn't speak, and with a less obvious smile, she quietly watched this very common scene in daily life.

I don't know how long it took, Count Hall looked over with a smile:

"What are our little princess thinking?"

Audrey pursed her lips and responded with a smile:

"you guess."

"I guess you're wondering which dress to wear at today's dance party, what hairstyle and makeup to wear." Hibert said with a relaxed expression on his father.

Audrey raised her lips and said:

“I answered correctly, but there was no reward.”

She then slowly stood up and said to her parents and two brothers:

"I've gone upstairs to change my dress."

Earl Hall nodded with a smile:

"Don't worry, everyone recognizes that you are worth waiting for."

Audrey bit her lower lip lightly, kept smiling, and walked towards the door step by step.

As she was about to leave the room, she paused and looked back.
