215 [Professor Zhang's doubts]
China's MBA education began in 1991 and was piloted in nine universities across the country.
In October 1994, the China MBA Teaching Steering Committee was established, and MBA education gradually became more formal in China.
Recently, the State Economic and Trade Commission and the Ministry of Education have conducted offensive communication and discussions, preparing to recruit on-the-job MBA students for managers of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, and plan to implement the national joint examination for admission to MBA. To put it bluntly, the central government believes that the level of state-owned enterprise management personnel is too poor and wants to throw them into the school to return to further study.
Fudan MBA is the earliest and most influential MBA project in China, and it was indeed the case in the mid-1990s.
The Ministry of Education recently issued a message asking major universities to discuss and study with each other and discuss how to carry out on-the-job MBA education for state-owned enterprise managers. So various academic exchange meetings in colleges and universities began. Today, Sun Yat-sen University sent a four-person team to Fudan School of Management.
Conference room.
Fudan Professor Shen Yongyi explained and summarized the experience of MBA education development abroad:
"Management education was developed under the promotion of the Western business community. Especially after the end of World War II, the ownership and management rights of American companies were significantly separated, and the demand for corporate managers expanded rapidly. Especially the 1949 class of Harvard Business School was brilliant and a large number of famous high-end management talents emerged!
"In the 1980s, due to the rapid rise of Japanese and Benzene, American public opinion pointed the finger of the economic downturn on management education. American mBA education began to undergo a comprehensive reform. Now we are learning the same set after the American reform. Of course, it also combines the advantages of Japanese mBA education."
"What I want to talk about today is the French MBA education, which is different from the United States and other European countries. The French MBA education only has one academic year, and the enrollment must be around 30 years old. Students can learn theory in school and bring their past practical management experience into the classroom. This enables the mutual learning of teaching and students and teachers are making progress."
"The State Economic Commission and the Ministry of Education have a good idea this time, so that state-owned enterprise managers can return to school to study. The managers can bring their practical experience and we can give them theoretical knowledge, which can promote China's MBA education to classrooms, enterprises and factories. I agree with this, and I firmly support the instructions of my superiors..."
Chen Yuan, a professor at Sun Yat-sen University, said: "Professor Shen said it very well. In the past, our MBA education was done behind closed doors and doing research behind closed doors. Theories cannot be linked to practice, and it is difficult for students who have studied MBA to play a role. These students are only in their early 20s. Can they make decisions when they enter state-owned enterprises? No! Students are infected with various problems with state-owned enterprises. The central leaders are very wise and send in-service managers of state-owned enterprises to universities, study and practice, and can be used when they go back."
"I think we should study France and formulate the on-the-job MBA courses for one year. After all, those state-owned enterprise leaders don't have much time."
"What can I learn in a year? Just take a quick look at the flowers and gilded, at least two years!"
"Look at the Ministry of Education, we don't count if we say it."
"The Ministry of Education is asking us to discuss, universities should strengthen exchanges and come up with a more suitable plan."
“…”
As the professors talked, they started arguing. The leaders of both sides stood up to smooth things over, and then everyone started chatting. They talked about foreign MBA education, analyzing the differences between the United States, Europe and Japan. Everything tends to be the United States, some tends to be the Japanese, and a few tend to Europe.
Then, they began to talk about the disadvantages of state-owned enterprises, and they shook their heads one by one, all thinking that it was not possible to let the leaders take MBA courses to save state-owned enterprises, and they had to reform the system from the root.
After a morning of discussion, the professors from Sun Yat-sen University visited Fudan School of Management and finally took the time to see the Fudan Management Association (student club).
At around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Professor Zhang Hongbo from Sun Yat-sen University suddenly said: "Your school has a Song Weiyang. He is a successful entrepreneur. Xifeng Company's management is very good. I have also read his book "The Future of Belongs to China". Some of the book talks about industrial structure and enterprise management, and it is written very well!"
"Student Song is indeed very outstanding. He is a celebrity in our school." Professor Shen Yongyi of Fudan said with a smile.
Zhang Hongbo asked: "He is also a student of the School of Management, right?"
Shin Yongyi shook his head and smiled bitterly: "I don't know what this kid is thinking. He went to law school or major in sociology."
"If you are building a business in China, it is the society that is the only one." Zhang Hongbo said.
The professors laughed and were humorous by Zhang Hongbo.
Shen Yongyi said: "It's time to get off get out of class now. If Professor Zhang wants to meet Song Weiyang, we will ask him to talk."
Zhang Hongbo waved his hand and smiled, "He should not be regarded as an ordinary student, he should be placed in an equal position. It is not good for big entrepreneurs to call him around, so we should visit him."
This is just a joke, but there are some truths.
If Song Weiyang is now 30 years old and his identity is there, these scholars and professors are really not allowed to meet just by saying that they can meet, at least they have to make an appointment in advance.
The professors chatted all the way and came to the teaching building of the law school next door. They happened to meet Song Weiyang who had just finished class.
"He's the one wearing a gray wool sweater." Shin Yongyi pointed.
Professor Chen Yuan smiled and said, "The young man is quite energetic. No wonder he said on TV that he is more handsome than Cai Guoqing."
"Ha ha ha ha!"
The professors burst into laughter again.
Only Zhang Hongbo took off his glasses, rubbed his eyes hard, and said to himself: "Why do you look exactly the same as Dr. Ma?"
Shen Yongyi waved and shouted: "Song Weiyang, come here!"
Song Weiyang was talking to Zhou Zhengyu about what to eat tonight. When he heard the shouts, he immediately looked over, and was stunned when he saw Zhang Hongbo.
"Xiao Song," Shen Yongyi stepped over, "I'll introduce you to Professor Chen, Professor Zhang, Professor Hu, and Professor Lin from Sun Yat-sen University."
Song Weiyang had already returned to normal, and he shook hands and greeted him with a smile: "Hello Professor Chen, hello Professor Zhang, hello Professor Hu, hello Professor Lin!"
"Student Song, have we seen it somewhere?" Zhang Hongbo's mind was a little confused. It was because Dr. Ma had a deep impression on him at the beginning.
Song Weiyang smiled and said, "I think Professor Zhang is very kind to you when I am destined to meet you thousands of miles away."
Zhang Hongbo asked again: "Have you been to Shenzhen City?"
Song Weiyang said: "I have always wanted to go to the Special Administrative Region to see it. After all, that is a window for China's reform and development."
Zhang Hongbo had never watched the MV of "Thousand Paper Cranes", so he could not be sure of Song Weiyang's identity. But he did look exactly the same, and even spoke similarly, but he grew taller and had some furry beards on his mouth.
Zhang Hongbo tentatively said: "I met a Dr. Ma in Shenzhen, who looks very similar to you."
"Is that so coincidental." Song Weiyang smiled.
"Dr. Ma has a very deep corporate management foundation, and many of my views refreshed me," said Zhang Hongbo.
"When you say that, I will definitely visit you if I have the chance," Song Weiyang asked, "When did Professor Zhang meet that Dr. Ma?"
Zhang Hongbo said: "More than two years ago, in summer."
Song Weiyang smiled and said, "I was only 17 years old at that time and I was still busy with the college entrance examination."
"That's right, you were only 17 years old at that time." Zhang Hongbo was even more afraid to confirm, and he didn't think he would be fooled by a 17-year-old brat.
But, it really seems!
Even the same smile, the same tone and expression, were so calm and confident.
Chapter completed!
