As for the second problem, it is called can.

When an industrial control machine interacts with a car chassis, it must pass through a special Can language, so the can thing can be understood as an industrial language decoder.

For example, the current vehicle speed is 60, and the sensor measures the speed per hour, but how do you tell the industrial control machine this information? Everyone is a machine, and no one can speak.

Therefore, can technology is needed to solve the problem of information paths between machines.

The third problem is global positioning technology and inertial measurement unit.

Global positioning technology is not difficult to solve. China has a Beidou system. If combined with the North American GPS system, it can form a dual positioning channel to obtain accurate vehicle positioning information.

But the inertial measurement unit, which is called IU, is more difficult.

Relying on global positioning and IU, we can know where the vehicle is and which direction it is driving. In addition, IU can also provide richer information such as yaw angular velocity, angular acceleration, etc., which helps the positioning and decision-making control of autonomous vehicles.

The fourth problem is sensors.

In current autonomous driving vehicles, three major sensing systems need to be used simultaneously, namely vision sensors, laser sensors, and radar sensors.

Vision sensors are binocular cameras, which can provide stereoscopic visual perception, not only should autonomous driving technology be used, but also future robotic technology.

Industrial binocular perception cameras and mobile phone cameras are not the same thing, and the biggest player in this field is Star Optics, a subsidiary of Star Technology.

After years of expansion and development, Star Optics is no longer a small factory that only knows how to build cameras, but a large-scale complex with sensing, remote sensing, laser, astronomy optics, medical optics, optical software, and many other fronts.

There are three major foreign competitors, Israeli mobileye, Canadian pointgrey, and German pike, all of which are lower than Star Optics.

Laser sensors are divided into single-line and multi-line. For each additional line, the cost will increase accordingly and the detection effect will be enhanced accordingly.

At present, the highest level in the world's civilian field can reach the 128th line. There is no problem in the military field to reach thousands of lines because it is spared no expense.

The more well-known laser sensor manufacturers include velodyne and quanergy in the United States, ibeo in Germany, and domestic ones include Sagitar Juchuang, Hesai Technology, and Star Optics.

Finally, there is radar sensor, which is more common. Front and rear reversing radar is a typical radar sensor. The main ones who study this thing are auto parts manufacturers, Denso, Bosch, Mainland China, Delphi, etc.

Radar sensor Star Optics has not done it, but another subsidiary Star Electric, they have a radar sensor team and production line.

It can be seen from this that although sensors are the most complex and of the four major hardware, they are the natural strength of Xingchen Technology. Xingchen Optics has vision and laser, and Xingchen Electric has radar. You can use it directly without the need to develop separately.

At this point, even if the tasks of the hardware department are arranged, Fang Yuanchu's semiconductor business department will be led by, and Huawei HiSilicon and Star Research Institute will cooperate.
