77. Administrators Office

At the end of the afternoon class, Hermione and the others went to get the tools they needed to clean the bathroom next time, but Jon found an excuse not to go there together.

He walked out of the classroom alone, then entered the bathroom dedicated to mud and draped invisible clothes.

It was already evening, but it was not completely dark. In such an environment, Jon just walked against the wall and was careful to be careful and would not be easily discovered by other students.

After putting on the invisibility cloak, he also released a floating spell on his body, which would make his next move lighter and faster.

He walked up the stairs that were not allowed to be taken by mud, and he met many mixed and pure-blooded students who had just finished class and were walking downstairs to the auditorium to prepare for dinner.

They chatted and laughed, just like normal students living in an ordinary school, passing by Jon, but did not find a muddy species that shouldn't have appeared here, heading against the current.

Jon was moving very quickly. He counted the floors silently in his heart. In less than half a minute, he came from the first floor to the fifth floor. It had become empty and most of the students left and went to the auditorium.

Just when Jon first arrived on the fifth floor, Dolokhov happened to walk out of his office. He turned over and closed the door of his office, then passed by Jon and walked downstairs.

Of course this is not a coincidence. During the three weeks after coming to the castle, Jon was observing Dolokhov's behavioral habits every day. He had basically figured out the work and rest time of the castle administrator.

Some professors' suppers would ask the house elves to deliver food directly to their offices, while Dolokhov enjoyed going to the auditorium. He seemed to enjoy the feeling of the students who saw him bowed to him and shouted "Mr. Dolokhov".

So his three meals a day are like normal students, and they are also solved in the auditorium. That is to say, after dinner begins, his office will have a vacant period of about half an hour, and this is the opportunity for Jon to keep an eye on for a week.

Watching Dolokhov walk down the stairs with his own eyes, Jon quickly approaches his office door.

The door was not locked because there was no eye-opening student in the castle who dared to sneak into the perverted administrator's office.

Jon carefully pushed open the door and then closed the door to death again.

After entering the door, he first glanced at the office environment as quickly as possible.

It was very dark here. Half of the orange-red sun that had already fallen outside the window shone in just a sunset, falling on the dark ground.

Four or five cold chains and shackles hung down from the ceiling, making the room less like an office, but more like an interrogation room.

There were no portraits of any characters hanging on the surrounding walls, which was the best news for Jon.

Portraits of the magic world are generally alive, and the characters inside have their own consciousness and can communicate with people. If Dolokhov also hung a pair in his office, Jon would not be discovered in his invisibility cloak, but his purpose of coming to this office would not be accomplished, and it would also be exposed that someone had broken into Dolokhov's office.

The various parchment papers on the desk were arranged in a mess. It seemed that the administrator did not have the habit of tidying up his room. Jon did not look at the things on the desk, but walked directly to the wooden cabinet beside the wall.

This place is basically all the contraband items collected by Dolokhov from mixed-race and pure-blooded students. When treating students outside the mud-race, even if they are mixed-race, they cannot use force. At most, they will confiscate the tools of the crime and then punish them for being in a confinement.

Jon started to rummage in the wooden cabinet. Even at this time, he did not take off his invisibility cloak, and he was very light when looking for things. As long as he was sure that it was not what he wanted, he would return them to his original position.

The wooden cabinets are not very big, and they don’t store many things. They are basically some prank props, the kind that can be bought in Diagon Alley’s magic joke shops. It took Jon about ten minutes to purse all the two wooden cabinets, but still couldn’t find what he was looking for.

Looking at the administrator's office in front of him, he frowned slightly.

If you think about it carefully, maybe he got the wrong direction.

The thing he was going to look for was confiscated by the former administrator Felch from James and the others before the fall of this Hogwarts Castle. Now that the castle has changed its owner, the administrator has become an extremely pure blood wizard. Will he still retain his ex, the thing left by the rebel Felch?

Just as Jon was thinking, a series of conversations suddenly sounded outside the office door.

"Is it really okay for us to steal things from Dolokhov like this?" This voice sounded a little silly and the voice was thicker.

Jon felt familiar with his answer, and he had met the boy when he was in Diagon Alley.

"What are you afraid of? He only has a special liking for his own shackles. He never checks whether there are any contrabands collected. We will not be found. Besides, what if it is discovered? My father is the office director of the Auror Command. Both of your fathers are also in the Ministry of Magic. He will only be detained for a few days at most and will not do anything to us."

The conversation at the outside door continued, and Jon had already put away his invisibility cloak and hid under the desk.

Dolokhov's office door was once again opened by three students from outside, and Draco Malfoy and his two followers, Crab and Gole.

They were far less cautious than Jon, and they just walked into the office in a daze, as if they wanted to steal the contraband that had been taken away by Dolokhov from here.

"Go to find the cabinet over there, Goer, be careful about your movements and don't mess things up."

Jon was just under the desk, watching the three of them come to the wooden cabinet and start rummaging, but they were obviously much luckier than Jon, and soon found what they wanted.

The thing was discovered by Crab, which was a blue ball about the size of a table tennis ball.

Draco took the ball with an excited expression on his face.

"I secretly brought the school from my family without telling my father. Fortunately, Dolokhov did not throw it in like throwing other mixed-race mixed-race things into the room on the first floor. I don't want to go to the first floor to find things to meet the mud bandits!"
