6. Hogwarts on a carriage
The complexity in Jon's heart is indescribable in words.
Facing this familiar and unfamiliar world, what can best bring him a sense of security is to hear the information about the protagonist group in the original story.
But now Lily, who should have sacrificed her son, is about to lead him into Hogwarts, so the prophetic savior of Harry Potter is likely to be in danger.
Now I got the news that Hermione Granger was brought in, Lily mentioned that Hogwarts, known as the "domestication field".
The three little ones in the original work can be said to be fragmented, and Voldemort's dark power is countless times stronger than in the story.
This made Jon fantasize at the beginning that the protagonist of Destiny was still there, and that the world still had a sense of security of saving, which was completely shattered.
His mood also sank into the bottom of the valley like the sun drooping west.
The sky gradually became completely dark, and dim street lights lit up on both sides of the road, illuminating the secluded road.
Lily suddenly stood up from the bench, she let go of her hand that had been hiding in her pants pocket and took out a silver lighter-like thing from her shirt pocket.
She pressed the button on the lighter, and the next moment, all the street lights on both sides of the road went out.
The night was dark tonight, and after the light disappeared, the surroundings were completely dark.
When Lily took out the lighter, Jon also stood up. His arm was held by Lily. Not long after, he heard a sound of horse hooves in the darkness.
"Hogwarts is here."
The house with bright lights revealed in the window in the distance suddenly jumped to the side as if it had come alive, and then jumped back to its original position, as if giving way to something.
The sound of horse hooves became louder and louder, almost in his ears, and soon in the darkness, Jon vaguely saw a huge carriage!
The carriage was about the same size as the safe house he saw during the day, two or three meters high and five or six meters long. But what was strange was that there was no sign of a horse in front of the carriage, as if there was no creature pulling it, but the clear sound of horse hooves was so real.
The horse-drawn carriage stopped in front of Jon and Lily, and there was still a person sitting in front of the car.
It was a very tall and stout man, and the proportions were so coordinated in this carriage that was the same as a small house.
He held two reins connecting the air ahead in his hand. In the darkness of the night, Jon could not see his face clearly, but felt the caring gaze that was staring at him.
"Hello, kid, the first time I met, I am the coachman of Hogwarts, you can call me Hagrid."
Ruber Hager, the hunting ground guard and key administrator of Hogwarts Castle in the original work, is a mixed-race giant, but also a gentle and good person.
Jon's mind was filled with information about Hagrid, and he also said to himself.
"Hello Hagrid, my name is Jon Green."
"Ah, I'm glad to meet you Jon, and I'm glad to see you safe and soundly Lily."
"Thank you, Hagrid, but this is not a safe place. I'm going to take him up." Lily said softly.
Hagrid happily raised the reins in his hand.
"Go quickly. Professor McGonagall was already back with a child in the afternoon. Dumbledore told me a good place and we will hold a welcome dinner there later!"
Lily took Jon to the rear of the carriage, then she pulled out her wand and pointed at the wooden railing beside the carriage, and a wooden staircase extended from above.
Jon followed Lily, stepped on the ladder with her and opened the curtain, entering the carriage called Hogwarts.
As soon as they entered the carriage, they were in a wide foyer.
The space here alone is not something that can be accommodated by a carriage that is the size of a small house on the outside. It must be that some magic is imposed inside to broaden the space.
In the foyer, an elderly witch with a straight back, wearing a dark green robe, curly black hair, and square eyes on her face were standing here to greet them.
"Professor McGonagall, I'm sorry, I'll bring only one child back."
After seeing the older witch, Lily hugged her gently, and said guiltily.
Professor McGonagall's originally serious and rigid face became much softer, and she patted Lily on the back with her hands.
"Don't say these words, it's good to be back safely. You go and have a rest first. There's a dinner later. Leave this child to me."
Lily nodded, handed Jon over to him, and then left the foyer.
After sending Lily away, Professor McGonagall's expression changed back to seriousness and looked at Jon.
"Mr. Green, I am Minerva McGrath, Vice-Chancellor of Hogwarts and also serve as your professor of transformation and herbalism. I believe that Lily has completed the preliminary admission guidance for you when she brought you. Next you have to follow me, and I will take you with other freshmen and collect your wands."
Jon is not unfamiliar with this Vice President Hogwarts who has made a lot of information in the original work, but after hearing Professor McGonagall's self-introduction, he was obviously stunned.
Professor McGonagall noticed his strangeness and asked with a frown.
"Do you have any problems?"
Jon took a deep breath and shook his head.
"I have no problem, professor, I'm just a little nervous when I'm here for the first time."
Professor McGonagall looked at him, his serious face relaxed a lot.
"The strange environment really makes it difficult to adapt to at first. Green, but Hogwarts professors and students are easy to get along with. Perhaps no one will like the exile life, but you will make friends here."
Jon nodded seriously, then followed Professor McGonagall toward the promenade behind the foyer.
In fact, he was still thinking about a position that Professor McGonagall said she had just held.
Herbal medicine professor...
Walking out of the hall and walking a few meters along the corridor, Professor McGon pushed open a door to her left and walked in with Jon.
After they entered the door, four pairs of eyes looked at them in the room behind the door.
These are children about the same age as Jon, three men and one woman, sitting on the bench in the middle of the room. They didn't look honest before entering the door, and they were whispering to each other. After seeing Professor McGonagall, they suddenly became well-behaved and sat upright.
Professor McGon glanced at the children with his sharp eyes, and signaled Jon to sit down on the last empty bench.
"You guys wait here first, and I will take you to get your wand later."
