14. The End of the World

Dong Qiangqiang suddenly became alert. He immediately bent down to pick up the crank and gently walked around behind the tall man. But the tall man just snorted and stopped moving.

Dong Qiangqiang was a little worried. He put the phone on the ground, quickly took off his belt, and quickly wrapped it around the tall man's ankle. After a few tight buckles, he tied the laces of the other man's shoes.

Together.

The operator's voice came from the phone: "Hello..."

Dong Qiangqiang quickly picked up the phone: "I can't see any landmark buildings. But I remember that I ran from the train station."

The operator pondered for a few seconds: "The map shows you are near the Kollingberg neighborhood, but we need a more specific location."

"Wait a minute," Dong Qiangqiang suddenly noticed a red light flashing on the distant mountain in front of him, "I can see a red aviation warning light on the distant mountain."

"Can you try to determine which direction the warning light is from you?" the operator asked while quickly looking for a lighthouse-like building on the map. He soon discovered that lighthouses can be seen in two directions in the Kollingberg neighborhood.

"I guess it should be southwest of me." Dong Qiangqiang estimated the direction he took when he ran out of the train station.

The operator quickly marked Dong Qiangqiang's location on the map and said, "We will send a police car there immediately. If you see a suspicious person, please do not act rashly. Please pay attention to protect your own safety."

After hanging up the phone, Dong Qiangqiang let out a long breath. He didn't expect that his first night in Germany would be so thrilling.

At this time, he felt a pain in his left arm again. He looked down and saw that the blood on the knife wound had dried up, and it didn't look like there was anything serious.

Unknown insects began to chirp in the grass in the distance, and the night seemed so quiet and peaceful, as if nothing had happened.

Jin Yuan lay motionless, while the old chef beneath him had already foamed at the mouth and fainted.

After a while, his consciousness slowly recovered. He turned over and lay down with difficulty, looking up at the ceiling in a daze.

Suddenly, he felt like he was holding something in his right hand. He raised his arm with difficulty, only to find that he was holding an ear in his hand.

Chef's ears.

Jin Yuan was shocked, and quickly turned his head to look at the old chef, only to see that the old chef's right ear was a bloody mess.

He quickly threw his ears aside, and big drops of sweat flowed down his forehead: without further delay, we must leave this place immediately.

He hurriedly got up, knelt on the ground, and hurriedly threw his wallet, mobile phone and other items that had been discarded by the chef back into his backpack, while listening carefully to the sounds outside the door.

There was no sound outside the door, and no one seemed to care about the whereabouts of the old chef.

Jin Yuan quickly put his backpack behind him. He turned and glanced at the old chef again. His eyes were suddenly attracted by the gold ring on the old chef's hand.

He hesitated for a moment, rushed to the old chef's side, took off the old chef's ring three times, and rummaged through the old chef's pockets. He only had a handful of change, which he didn't count, so he stuffed it into his pocket.

He wiped the blood and sweat from his forehead and face with his clothes, stood by the door and listened for a while. After confirming that no one was there, he gently opened the wooden door.

He tiptoed out of the wooden house, closed the door gently, and was about to slip out of the backyard onto the street, when he suddenly remembered the package in the metal trash can.

He endured the pain, quickly ran to the trash can, dug out the paper bag wrapped in a black garbage bag, put it in his backpack, and then ran out of the restaurant's backyard and disappeared into the vast night.

A few minutes later, the old chef woke up from the pain on the cold floor of the wooden house and let out a piercing scream. He banged his fist on the floor and roared: "I will find you."

Jin Yuan's student ID card lay quietly in the shadow under the metal shelf. In the photo of his student ID card, his smile was as bright as the sun.

Wu Xiaoxi ran staggeringly, her heart full of fear and questions, not knowing where she should go now.

She originally thought that her boyfriend Chen Dahu would pick her up at the train station and take her back to their home, but she did not expect that Chen Dahu would break up with her on the phone.

The two of them had been getting along for almost two years. Why did she only go back to China for a month and then come back like this? She couldn't figure it out.

Although she was still a little confused, Wu Xiaoxi gradually thought that something might go wrong if she ran around aimlessly like this, and she needed to go to a brightly lit place to think carefully.

She stopped, looked around carefully, and suddenly found a blue road sign in the distance. She happily ran closer to observe, and after figuring out the direction, she ran towards the train station.

Dong Qiangqiang didn't expect that the opponent would be so fast. He was in front of him in the blink of an eye. He didn't have time to think too much and quickly ducked to the right, but it was still a step too late and the dagger pierced his chest.

Dong Qiangqiang looked at what was happening in front of him in disbelief. He looked down at the dark red blood pouring out from his chest, dyeing his clothes red in the blink of an eye.

Looking at the tall man's ferocious smile, he stumbled backwards and hit the car parked behind him.

His body slowly fell down, looking at the ground stained red with his own blood, he slowly closed his eyes.

"Ah!" Dong Qiangqiang shouted out in fright, waving his arms at the same time.

I saw a man in a navy blue uniform quickly withdrawing his hand from Dong Qiangqiang's shoulder and taking a quick step back.

It turned out to be a nightmare. Dong Qiangqiang gasped in panic and broke out in a cold sweat.

"Did you call the police?" a male voice asked.

Dong Qiangqiang looked up and saw a tall German man wearing a beret and uniform standing in front of him. He had a black baton on his left waist and a gun bag on his right waist.

, there is a row of letters "polizei" (German for police) embroidered on the left side of the chest, and there is a row of numbers below the letters.

"Well, yes, yes." Dong Qiangqiang said while holding the car door and standing up.

"Is he the knife-wielding robber you are talking about?" the male policeman pointed to the tall man sitting on the ground next to him.

"Well, yes, I hit his knife over there." Dong Qiangqiang pointed in one direction and said.

"Well, we have found the knife. We need you to go back to the police station with us to make a transcript and tell us what happened."

"No, no problem."

"Get in the car." The male policeman nodded to Dong Qiangqiang and motioned for him to get into the police car.

A strong female police officer escorted the tall man into another police car.

The police car roared towards the police station at the train station. Sitting in the car, Dong Qiangqiang was drowsy. He leaned his head gently against the car window. This day was too tiring for him.
