Chapter 175 Reference and Learning

Xu Xingchen slightly comforted the half-aged child of Osaka, Taiji, and then asked Hangzhou to arrange him and his ship girl on the edge of the base, separating the ship girl a yard from the ship girl.

From now on, Osaka Taiji led his fleet to join Xu Xingchen's organization, and his ship girl's information naturally entered Xu Xingchen's system.

So Xu Xingchen opened the scientific research system, found the ship girl Haruna from Osaka, found the SH-60K Seahawk helicopter on her body, and carried out reverse engineering.

The SH-60 Seahawk is a ship-based model that was transformed based on the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in accordance with the requirements of the US Navy. The SH-60K model is a ship-based model exported to the Japanese series.

This is a ten-ton general carrier-based helicopter. The Z20 was basically developed according to this size and is very suitable for ship-based use.

Many equipment has an optimal size and scale, which is too large and costs higher, and may not be convenient to use. If it is too small, it cannot carry enough equipment and its functions are not perfect.

The Black Hawk and Seahawk series helicopters have basically stuck to this standard, approximate the size of the optimal general-purpose helicopter.

Therefore, since the design was completed in the late 1970s, it has been used until the new century. The improved versions during this period are just changing equipment and continuing to optimize the structure.

And it is foreseeable that she will continue to update her ship-based equipment and electronic systems, and then continue to serve.

The 20 designed by the Chinese series itself has a very different structure than that of the Black Hawk and Seahawk, but its size and weight are basically the same, so it is regarded as a counterfeit product.

Words such as licensed production, imitation, copycat, etc. are very common words in early domestic equipment and technical introductions.

It is a learning process, it is a completely normal operation, not a shameful thing, and there is no need to cover it up.

After all, we were just an agricultural country at the beginning, and we didn’t even step into the door to industrialization.

If you want to design and manufacture something, you already know that there are ready-made excellent works in the world and you still have the opportunity to get and learn, but you deliberately do not refer to it in order to maintain independence and self-reliance, and have to work behind closed doors and make trouble slowly. That is a problem with your brain.

Of course, this learning and reference are also moderate and need to be improved. If it is just a simple imitation without progress, then it is meaningless.

We obviously made progress through learning and reference, completed our own industrial foundation, and improved our technology.

In the earliest days, it was very difficult to simply learn, let alone referring to other people's designs.

In the era of J-5, from the design drawings of the aircraft itself, to the production equipment used to produce aircraft, and even the labor organization model in production, the rules and regulations of the production factory were all copied completely by the Soviet standards because it had no before that.

There were Soviet engineers, with key accessories and equipment, and on-site guidance, teaching us to build production factories and prepare materials to complete production and manufacturing.

That's it. The performance of the finished products we made is still quite obvious compared to the original version of the Soviet Union.

The original MiG 17 has a maximum range of 2,000 kilometers, while the imitation of the J-5 is only 1,500.

In such comprehensive learning, after improving one's own level, one can half-actively copy without support, and then improve on the existing model.

During the J-7 period, although the country obtained a production license and production drawings, its relations with the Soviet Union came to an end and most of the imitation work was completed independently.

In the end, the relevant R&D institutions fully understood the J-7 aircraft, and made various improvement plans, forming a large amount of new technology and process data.

The same situation is also the J-16. She can be said to have completely understood the ultimate collector's version of Su 27.

After accumulating sufficient design capabilities through semi-active imitation and active upgrades and improvements, we entered a more advanced learning stage.

At this time, other people’s designs and existing products are just my “design reference”.

For example, the Black Hawk is a good aircraft, which basically meets the best design of this general purpose helicopter. So I can build one myself.

I have referenced many of its designs, and even the things I made, they look similar to it, but they are completely different inside.

And the original version is a product from many years ago. The one I redesigned must use the latest technology, and it can only be better than the best.

There is also the AK176 naval gun. I think this size and performance are very suitable for frigate naval guns, so I can also make one.

I have referred to its structure and achieved similar results, but the implementation methods are different, and the software system is even new.

The aerodynamic shape of the Su27 aircraft is really excellent. I also refer to it to design my aircraft, which can save a lot of time. Why not study?

After this stage, a new way of learning emerged.

When we were doing R&D and design ourselves, we made dozens or hundreds of plans in advance, but we were not sure which one was the most suitable. We might need to actually verify the results.

If we make physical verification of all the solutions ourselves, it will take a lot of time and research and development funds.

But at this time I found that you have already made it, and the effect is very good. When I saw it, it was very similar to my plan No. 128.

Well, then I will follow this plan and after doing it, I will indeed achieve similar results.

By the time my technology has accumulated to this level, my industrial and design foundations have been improved.

Many design things are left with only a layer of window paper, which is basically broken with just one poke.

At this time, as a latecomer, you don’t need to use it as a ready-made reference. You have to think about it yourself and have to walk the path others have strayed through again. That is a waste of life.

Of course Xu Xingchen would not do that. Although he has not yet reached the 20% straight, he has obtained the Sea Eagle, so I will be welcome to refer to it.

After the reverse engineering is completed, Xu Xingchen will not produce it directly. He still needs to upgrade and transform it on a large scale before mass production will be produced.

Now the area controlled by Xu Xingchen has reached the entire Central Islands, and the scientific research tanks automatically developed are very efficient. This kind of aircraft can complete reverse engineering in just one day.

Xu Xingchen looked at the countdown of more than twenty hours and subconsciously looked forward to the appearance of the modern commander of the American system.

If the other party does not have his own organization and is just an independent commander like Osaka Taiji, then he will have the opportunity to recruit him.

Then, I had the chance to get the F14 fighter from him.

However, this kind of thing can only be considered for the time being. This situation in Osaka Taiji is probably not going to happen again.

Xu Xingchen shook his head gently and arranged for Hangzhou to send someone to find Saito Hirobuki, and he had to talk to this guy himself.

As a senior manager of the base camp, he must be very familiar with the situation of the base camp and the Longbow Islands.

Through Hirobu Saito, he may be able to thoroughly understand the internal situation of the Longbow Islands.
